In this week’s Parashat Vayetze, the Torah hints to a powerful question: How do we ensure our children and future generations stay strong on the path of Torah? Before Yaakov builds his family, he lies down on the way to Charan and Hashem appears to him. Yaakov lying down teaches a message on its own. When you lie down, the head and the feet are on one level. Yaakov lived this way—bringing spirituality and daily life together, elevating the physical instead of separating from it.
