Torah Minute by Rabbi Bakshi: Rule with Your Mind Like a King

This week’s portion of "Shoftim" speaks of the mitzvah to appoint a Jewish king. Though we don’t have this mitzvah in a physical sense today, its message is timeless. The word melech—king—is an acronym for moach, lev, kaved: brain, heart, and liver. Our mind should guide our feelings, and our feelings should inspire the right actions.
