Torah Minute by Rabbi Bakshi: Focus and build a better future

In this week’s Torah portion, Vayechi, Yaakov Avinu blesses his grandchildren, Ephraim and Menashe. Although Menashe was the older one, Ephraim is placed first and receives the right-hand blessing — teaching us that the Torah is conveying a deeper message. Menashe represents letting go of the past, while Ephraim represents growth and fruitfulness. Releasing yesterday’s pain is important, but it is only the first step.
