In Parashat Behar-Bechukotai, Hashem promises many blessings for following His commandments while also warning of the consequences when we drift away. One verse describes “ten women baking bread in one oven,” which, on the surface, sounds like a curse of scarcity and hunger. The Alter Rebbe in Likkutei Torah reveals a deeper meaning. The “ten women” represent the ten powers of the soul, and the “bread” represents Torah. When a person immerses both his mind and heart in Torah learning, all parts of the soul become involved and nourished. Then, “you will eat and not be satisfied” becomes a blessing. The more Torah we learn with excitement and depth, the more we yearn to learn even more. True Torah study creates an endless thirst for growth, connection, and holiness. #TorahMinute #Parsha #Hashem #Chabad #JewishWoodbridge #Jewish #RabbiBakshi #ShabbatShalom #Behar #Bechukotai #TorahMessage #AlterRebbe #TorahStudy #JewishLife #SpiritualGrowth #Chassidus #Torah #Soul #Mitzvah #Shabbat #TorahWisdom
