We are very excited to share that news with you clearly and I'm going to adjust it a little bit so in case has anything else to add. So today is a very exciting day for the Hilum Army because it's been since a while that we've been together. Actually, we did one surprise to Hilum Army gathering like since Purim but we had an official one before Purim with the TYH boys and tonight we are so lucky that we are about to welcome the incredible duo that we all love Zusha to the Hilum Army. Of course, we're here to say to Hilum, right Yeah. So as much as it's we're excited, there's still a serious situation in Klal Yisrael going on and to Hilum Army reports to base when we need to. So I have my to Hilum nearby. This one don't have a name inside. He's using one that does not have a name inside so I told him he can use it. In fact, we have a whole bunch that don't have a name inside and maybe that name will be yours. I actually it's amazing that after I don't know how many How long have we been doing to Hilum Army Since you're like a newborn, right? So after all a long time A long time even with just no walls because we didn't We started by the war but we're going to keep going even when the war is over. Exactly. >> Yes, even cuz um cuz um if it the war is over then do it again cuz um so it can't go again. We don't Exactly. makes such a good point that we don't want any more wars. So the power of the Hilum can hopefully prevent any horrible things from happening. And and Should I leave? >> [laughter] >> Should I leave? I think we have a new host. He's been here before more than once and he's going to update us on the situation happening in Eretz Yisrael which we know is serious but it we still are joyful and you can see in Israel joy amidst the fear and the stuff and you know, some people are suffering and people are scared, right? Like was saying, wars are not good. We don't want this to happen. We want this to end. So our achdus and to Hilum tonight will hopefully really be that final straw that we need right now for the Jewish people and so without further ado we will introduce Who are we introducing? Zusha. So as you mentioned, you know, things are a little tough in Eretz Yisrael right now but um we wrote a song a few a few weeks ago and we put it out and um it's kind of about that. It's a little bit of a Purim song but it's really a song for what everyone's going and everyone everyone's what everyone's going through and what everyone's feeling right now which is things are hard but in a moment like your son said, Mashiach is going to come and all the holy neshamos are going to join us and we're going to sing the song together. Oh yes, good good question. My name is Zacharia. And my name is And you have a second name, right? I'm Aryeh and he's Zacharia Dovid. Oh, very very funny cuz and it's not funny. It's nice but I will tell you what's funny. My next to me, his name is Aryeh and my next and my next door neighbor's name is Zacky. Well, I call him Zacky. >> they're like Zusha. Maybe they should start a band. Yeah, you want to start a band with Zacky? Anyways, um but I'm happy you guys a podcast That'd be cute. I want to be like Zusha, they could call it. Um question, um not question, comment. I love that you started with that song because when it came out, I was worried that after Purim people would say, "Eh, it's a Purim song. I'm not singing this anymore." But who cares? V'nahafoch who needs to happen now, right? Like, it doesn't matter. So, I'm very, very happy that that song is still vibing with everyone. Yeah. And I think all the chugim, all the holidays, they're not they're not there for just 1 day. They're there to impact your whole year. So, for us it was important to write a song that you can get into the holiday mode and the holiday spirit, but also you can sing it all all year round because these chugim are special. They're supposed to make a difference in your life and not the day. And that the difference should stay with you till next Pesach. Next Pesach you need a new you need a new light of Pesach, but but this this light of Pesach should carry you for 365 days, you know? So, I think that that's what the mystics say. That's what the Mekubalim say. So, that's something we need to think about that that every day you need a little bit of Pesach and a little bit of Purim and little bit of uh little bit of Rosh Hashanah, a little I'm feeling a song. I'm feeling a song over here. Sounds like you're It sounds like the beginning of a song. Yeah, it's called Yeah, a little bit of Pesach, a little bit of Purim. You know, when the when the world feels a little bit dark, we have to remember that every mitzvah that we do lights up the world, makes it a little bit brighter. Um and every every time we say Tehillim, every word we say um I said Tehillim with a bunch of teenage boys yesterday, about 12 to 15 teenage boys. We said two chapters of chapters of Tehillim, one for the the struggle that we're going through, chapter kuf chof aleph, 121. And we wanted to say thank you already, chapter kuf mizmor l'soda cuz we know Hashem's going to help us. And I just remember that it was really really powerful. Normally, you know, sometimes an adult might think you need to say a lot of Tehillim to make a difference, but we just said two Tehillim and I really felt a difference. I felt so much impact. So, we're saying this we're going to sing our song brighter because we want to remember that everything we do makes the world brighter. Every mitzvah that we do, every time we protect our mouths from saying lashon hara, try to say something good about our sister or brother, that our teacher, and we try to, you know, learn some Torah, say a pasuk. It really really really illuminates the world and if the world's bright enough, then there won't be any more darkness. Beautiful. Fuel to my fire and we're dancing to get higher. Who's the Kotzker Lover? The Kotzker Lover was the second Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin. He was uh right after the passing of of Meir Lublin. Biro. The the Biro, the first Rosh Yeshiva of of Yeshivas Chachmei Lublin in Poland. Mhm. Um then the his uh predecessor was the Kotzker Lover of Aryeh Tzvi Fromer. He wrote on halacha and he wrote on chassidus and he liked to fuse the two together. Wow, okay. We all I I I've asked so many people who that was and I'm I'm I'm like, when I meet you, that's going to be my that's going to be my question. Okay, Kotzker Lover. For anyone who doesn't know, he's in the Aleph Bet song. Um what's your favorite spot to write songs? Uh we like to write near houses. It's probably the best because it's the most natural, least pressure and we just get to be ourselves. And and there's the sounds of the kinderlach in the background. Sometimes you use your kinderlach for sound effects. Right? Yes, yes. Our incredible kids get to, you know, play in the background, so. Yeah. It's usually when our kids are around and we're and we're babysitting. I'm babysitting. Oh, yeah, that's true. It's funny. We're watching our kids and and they're around, then. Wait, you froze a second. You said if your wives need what? They need help and support, then I'll hold the baby, but b'chatchilah it's a video of it. Right, right, right. Okay. Um do you ever compose music at Camp Kaylie at Mountain? I don't, but I like to walk there. Oh, okay. You were spotted by my teenage sister, that's why. Got you. >> [laughter] >> She said she It was It was like a flex. She was like, we saw we saw Zusha. I said, you didn't see Zusha. You so He has a name, but he Yeah, I understand. Um last question. Do you like being called Zusha even though you have actual names? I think it's a special thing because Reb Zusha was such a special special rebbe and for us, the whole reason we named the band Zusha was because we felt like his light was so relevant and so important for people to learn about. So, I think if people are saying the name Zusha and they say, "Why is the name Why is the band name Zusha?" Well, we named it after Reb Reb Zusha. Because his message of being simple and authentic and being authentic >> trying to find your own path in life, those are the important messages that we resonate with that we want to put into our music, so. It's a very special thing. Wow. >> Yeah. Yeah. What were you going to say? I was just going to say that it On the one hand, maybe I used to be caught off guard by it, but as Zach's saying, it kind of now it has much It has the meaning of Reb Zusha uh the Chassidic master and it also has the meaning of all the things that we're trying to give the world. So, it actually is an honorable name to me. Wow, beautiful answer. I also think that uh um the message, I guess, of what you're saying about Reb Zusha, which I didn't know cuz I'm not so um I don't know that much about the rebbes, but it sounds like you the two of you embody that message as an example, which is beautiful. You know, it's Sometimes people become popular, their music becomes popular and it's hard to stay normal, humble, and understand that you're giving, you know, you're giving something over and and it's like a responsibility, so it's a I I appreciate the fact that you that you guys are um showing that as an example to everybody. Yeah. Well, we hope to. We we aspire to. Yeah. That's all we can do, right? Um It helps. The holy kinderlach help. They keep us all humble because they're the they're the best. Amazing. I happen to think that it's very remarkable because I can say that a few years ago my husband used to listen to your music um when he would needed to concentrate late at night on his work and it was just like in the background and the kids I don't know if they were so into it, but recently it's been the kids who have been bringing Zusha back into everyone's lives and I feel like, right? Tehillim Army kids, who here loves Zusha? So many people are raising their hand. It's amazing. It's like you became like a Kidz Bop also, you know? It's It's like and it's and I and I heard Rabbi Kalish shlita everybody knows Rabbi Kalish. Rabbi Kalish in one of his recent shiurim, I listen to all his shiurim. I'm like a I'm a secret Waterbury bochur. Um My wife my wife too by the way. Oh, really? I have to talk to her about this. So, he mentioned that his when he drove to New York at a on a recent trip with his son, he brought his son with him. He was going to speak in New York and he said to his son, "You're the DJ. Here's my Here's the whatever the music they were playing from. You pick the music." And they listened to Zusha and one other singer the entire way to New York and back, Rabbi Kelish and his son. And Rabbi Kelish said, "There's something very deep about it." He's like, "This is the music of our generation." I You guys got such a shout-out on there. He said, "This is the music of our generation because our kids need deeper. They need to go deep. They need And if our kids are listening to that music, it is so beautiful." And he was going on and on about it. And I was like, "Yay!" It was so I loved the conversation and I loved that he was understanding that our kids' music is If this is inspiring them, we have to It's teaching us something about the the listener and what is connecting with them. So, I thought that was very very very special. And when Messiah comes, it says the first Elijah is going to come. Your son was Your son was talking about it. The Messiah is going to come soon. So, before Messiah comes, the the story is it's a day before Messiah will it will be Elijah the prophet, Elijah the prophet. >> [snorts] >> And we know he comes to the seder. So, maybe seder night is the day before Messiah. Who knows? But let's see. Well, I guess time will tell a few nights from now. But Elijah the prophet comes and it And it says about Elijah the prophet that the issue of live of us of burning and live burning and live burning and live that there's going to be this father son and really means generational. So, like the parents and the children, the mothers and the daughters, the fathers and the sons. They're going to be inspiring one another. Meaning it's not just going to be top down, the parents inspiring the children, but it's actually going to be the live burning and live burning and live burning and the hearts of the children on their fathers the meaning. Be inspired by certain things that will inspire the fathers. And that's a beautiful Wow. The circuitry where you know the children it's not just It's the coolest thing where it's parents teach the children and the children have to just listen, but I think it's in the times of redemption and all of us the whole world will understand even the children and the children will have what to teach the parents. The children are teaching the parents. Just like that. You hear that, So many kids can relate to that. Okay. Uh enough of me talking. And it's funny. He's a big fan from my lake Kibbutz Ma'ale Gilboa in Israel. So, everyone is probably realizing who that is cuz he's been here before, but um you're one of his role models. So, your your influence goes around. But it goes the other way too. Meaning you want to Maybe some people want to be like us, but the truth is we want to be like you. So, to be like us means to be like yourself. Ooh, it goes boomerang back at you. >> That's a boomerang. Exactly. >> you all. Call the brothers. Noam, thank you so much for joining Incredible Kids. Hello. You're very welcome. Such an honor. Noam, tell us where in Israel you are right now. >> I'm in a kibbutz called Ma'ale Gilboa. And if some of you remember, some of you were here 2 years ago, I think. It's a small kibbutz, very very nice, very quiet up in the north. Beautiful. [music] What's behind you? Can we see a little visual? >> Sure. We have some We have some trees. We have a nice sunset. We have uh Yeah. Some nice sunsets here. Can you explain in simple words what's going on in Israel right now? Yes. [music] Israel and United States gathered together tried to eliminate and are eliminating nuclear threats from Iran, which is clear threats to Israel and to our Israel and to the United [music] States. Iran started to fight back. Now we are getting a lot of sirens and they're trying to make bombs fall in Israel. But Hashem, not a lot fell. [music] We have a great defense army. But Hashem, that's the situation. Sounds very intense. Here in America, we don't really get to hear every single update, but then every few days we hear that something did hit [music] and there were people hurt. It reminds us that we're so far away. We don't really know what's going on. And we also don't really understand what the experience is for you. Every time there is a siren, what you need to do. Even for very young kids, they hear a siren, they know exactly what they're supposed to do and it's really not normal, but it's normal now for you. Yes. Israel is very very smart [music] and we have a great army. They know when a bomb threat is coming. So, you get a message on your phone that goes beep beep beep beep beep. It's like it's very like whoa. Like Like you wake up >> [music] >> talking. Yeah, you wake up in the night that sound. It basically tells you that you have a couple minutes until there's a siren. And when the siren goes off, there's woo woo, right? Very very long and loud. That basically means that we have to go into a bomb shelter. Some people have it in their house. I personally don't. We [music] go outside. We have a bomb shelter in our neighborhood. So, a few families together gather in one bomb shelter, community one. Yeah, even there's a couple of families with little kids that even slept there. I remember the last siren war, we slept in the bomb shelter. My father currently also in the building because my mom didn't want every time to go back and forth in the night if there's a siren. So, we slept down in the bomb shelter. Wow. Are schools open? Are kids staying home? What's going on? None of the schools are open right now, but a week ago my Shiva opened up. I actually went to Shiva. I just got back last night. I went back >> [music] >> for a week. Then I was on my way back when the bomb hit in Arad. Nothing's really open right now. Kids are staying home trying to play nicely and make the time like good. Let [music] not tell it as mine. That's how you say it in Hebrew. To pass the time. Yeah. How are you feeling through all of this? Listen, I'm feeling strong. I think that there's never been a greater time for Am Yisrael Geulah. We literally see it happening in front of our eyes in this tiny steam. We have such a strong defense army. Is that a shame? We're mommies waiting for the last last [music] bits of base Amigdas. Listen, it's mommies the Geulah. Don't have any other words for it. Like mommies like you really see it happening. Like people are helping out Miluim soldiers. It's mommies great. Mommies. Wow, you're ready. You're ready. We're ready. For sure. Literally Mashiach's coming. Mashiach's here, guys. Get on the next flight to Israel. This is it. So many people are trying to get out of Israel. We just want to go into Israel. I feel so far away. No amount of technology, no amount of Zoom, no amount of [music] FaceTimes, nothing can make me feel like I'm there. >> There's a fun fact. All the Israeli civilians [music] who were stuck in America they had recovery flights back to Israel. Like it's the only state that like [music] you want to come back to Israel when there's a war happening. Mind-blowing. What's your final message, Noam, to all of the kids who are here? We want to do more. We want to do what we can >> [music] >> and we need reminders from you and that's why we're so glad you're here. So, tell us, what should we be doing now? Listen, I think that at this time, especially time of the Geulah, I think that like the name of the Tehillim Army, that's what we need. We need right now the little Tehillims, the big Tehillims of every Jewish child here. I think people don't realize how much it does. Tehillims like mommies they bring down the base Amigdas. They bring down the Mashiach. We're really trying to daven and of course if you could do anything to Israeli soldiers, Israeli Miluim team, of course great, but even even your Tehillims, even if you just think about Israel for a minute a day or if you daven Ashrei and Yishuv Ashrei, the Kavanah does a lot. >> That's really powerful. Now we understand a little bit more a little bit more about why our Tehillims are important and why they're needed and wanted. And before we start Tehillim, I want to tell you that last night I sent out a message saying everyone remember to come on Tehillim Army and it's so important for us to remember that people in Israel are running back and forth to their bomb shelter and it's very hard for them right now. And when I after I posted that message, I got a lot of responses back. People were messaging me and emailing [snorts] me saying, "Thank you so much. Thank you for davening for us. We feel like you're not forgetting about us." Um I'll tell you what one person said to me today. I got a lot of these messages. Someone said, "Thank you for doing this with the incredible kids. Um we don't want to feel forgotten by our brothers and sisters in Chutz L'Aretz." And then she said, "I feel so grateful for your Tehillim Army and the families in Chutz L'Aretz." That's us, anywhere outside of Israel. And their parents who are remembering us over here. So, of course we don't forget about them, but it's also normal that when we're busy and we're playing and we're getting ready for Yom Tov, um we forget, right? Like we we're just not there. It's really hard. So, we're just going to try to be a little mindful. Um and I hope Could you imagine like you know, they might be sitting down to the We hope the Mashiach comes today and you know, none of this will be applicable, but like they might be sitting down to their Pesach Seder >> [snorts] >> and have to run to a siren, right? In the middle of the Seder. Like whatever. We want them to be able to have a normal Pesach and we want Mashiach to come and we want all of the suffering to end and we don't want anyone to have to be afraid. So, um so there's so much to daven for. And now we understand a little bit more of what we need to daven for and thumbs up if you agree. Does it make it a little easier to have Kavanah when you know what you're davening for? I see lots of thumbs ups all around. You guys are awesome. actually noticed that I want to give a shout out to this these people right here, the Chazan family. First of all, it's going to be Pesach very very soon. And Pesach like we said before Um me and Avi was going to wear something that's white. What? It was very relevant to the Pesach conversation, right? Yeah. Um so yes, as we were saying the same holiday that will be wearing a kittel with his Abba. Um Hopefully we will have a Pesach with all Yidden together being all over Yerushalayim very soon. Hopefully that will be this Pesach and if not, I remember that um you know I think it was 2 years ago. I asked my Rav about like should we say a perek of Tehillim during the Seder like for the you know, for the situation in Eretz Yisrael at the time cuz there were still all those hostages and it was awful. And we knew that like you know, it was it was an uncomfortable thing to be like celebrating with our family and smiling and having the Seder when like there's people who are in pain. And he the Rav said that [snorts] we're not going to change the Seder, right? Like we don't add things to mitzvahs. We don't like make up new mitzvahs and new things. But maybe you could tell the Tehillim Army that before the Seder even starts, like when everybody's you know, kind of like gathering around, setting the table, getting ready and you know, your mother might be warming up the food and I don't know, there's like things happening. Um that would be a good time to just like get into the mindset and maybe maybe then would be a good time to say Tehillim and you could tell your family like let's all just have in mind for a minute that maybe there are some people who need our Tehillim in Eretz Yisrael. You know, the Jews there are you know, maybe not like at this like chill situation. Although you should know that there are many Jews in there are people in Israel who are still laughing and smiling. It's not like it's terrifying every second, but you know what I'm saying? Like when there's this threat then it's not it's not at peace and Jewish people like when our you know, when our head hurts, when someone's head hurts then someone else's head hurts and if your arm hurts, it's like a body, right? We're all part of one body and the same way that if you know, one person has a body and they have a headache then like they just their whole body is like bothering them. They don't can't do anything cuz like oh, my foot hurts so like now I can't do that. So like we're all connected like that. Does that make any sense? We're all connected like that. We care about other Jews. We're all part of one nation and we can't be fully happy and fully at peace when other people are suffering. So at least for a little bit we should pause and think about it. And in the zechus of all of that, we should have shalom and we should have bracha. And um Im Yirtzeh Hashem we're going to do we're going to keep keep like people always ask me like how do you know there's another Tehillim Army? So I always post it on the WhatsApp groups for people's parents who are on the WhatsApp groups and I always I always send out emails. So make sure and if you're not on the email list, make sure that someone in your family signs up for the Incredible Kids emails. So between those two things, you'll know about anything coming up. Sometimes we do surprise events. You don't want to miss anything. You know what I'm saying? This morning we have a brand new Incredible Kids episode that came out all about chess. Okay? Any chess players here? Any chess players? Let's see. Ooh, the Rosens and the fam jams have a chess player in their family. Okay, so and >> We also have a chess one that one got broken and one is new. Right. We have two chess boards. One that got broken and one that's new. And I'm like what else are you going to say about our family? >> [laughter] >> This is getting a little dangerous for me. Um So yes, so it's about chess and about hobbies. It's really fun. It's very interesting. I do not know how to play chess. My brain does not even know how to understand the directions. So even people like me will enjoy listening to it. And then also, we have an sit on I K teens program this Tuesday. So if you know a teenage girl who would love to join us this Tuesday. So not tomorrow. Tomorrow's Monday. After Monday comes Tuesday. So anyone here who is a teen or who knows a teen or anything like that, you can tell them that um we're going to have a program with the very special Mrs. Charlene Aminoff who's going to be joining the teens. We did a program last year right before Pesach for the teen girls also and I can tell you that I had a different Pesach Seder because of it. I got so inspired from the program. Me from the girls and from it was like a very special Pesach lesson. So I hope that it will do the same for you guys this year. You know, even though you go to school and even though you learn a lot, sometimes it's good to have another place to go like Incredible Kids. Who agrees? Who agrees? Good.
