We've all learned Chumash, maybe even
thought we understood, but now, with his
trademark depth and clarity and his
signature up-tempo Daf Yomi style, Reb
Sruly Bornstein uncovers the layers
beneath the words, revealing a world of
meaning, relevance, and beauty in every
line. Where the Derech Halimud of the
Beis Medrash meets Pashut P'shat,
discover the shiur that's redefining how
people learn Chumash. Reb Sruly
Bornstein's Chumash Shiur. Find it on
the Lakewood Daf Yomi app or wherever
this shiur is being heard. Today's daf
is Vochin daf tzadik gimmel and we will
begin at the top line of daf tzadik
gimmel amud aleph.
So, the topic is the 11th perek of
maseches Vochin, which is dam chatos,
which really begins with a pasuk in
parshas tzav. So, in parshas tzav, the
Torah mentions several halachos
regarding the korban chatos. Vayidaber
Hashem el Moshe lemor, daber el Aharon
vel el bonav lemor, zois toras
hachatous. And the Torah goes through
pasuk after pasuk discussing important
halachos as it relates to the korban
chatos. One of the psukim, one of the
halachos mentioned, is va'asher yizeh
midam al beged, if dam of the korban
chatos will land on a beged, asher yizeh
olav dichabes bemakom kodesh. The
halacha is, there's a mitzvah you have
to go and wash the beged. So, if dam of
the korban chatos would land on a beged,
there's a mitzvah dichabes bemakom
kodesh. Stated in that mishnah it said,
the only time this halacha is true is if
the dam was kosher dam. But let's say
the chatos itself was pasul. So, dam
chatos that's pasul, the halacha is,
there would be no halacha of kibbus.
Says the Gemara, bimei Rabi Nachum, Rabi
Chisda, Rabi Nachum asked Rabi Chisda,
niteiz al beged tamei. What happens if
dam chatos, dam that's kosher, was
niteiz on a beged, but the beged itself
was tamei? Now, what's the halacha? Is
there a din kibbus or is there not a din
kibbus? Meaning, on the one hand, the
dam itself was kosher,
so that there should be a din kibbus.
But then again, the moment the dam
touches the beged, the dam is going to
be tamei. So, it's bon kacha, as the dam
touches the beged, it's now going to be
dam tamei. In other words, dam possul.
Dam possul has no halacha of kibbus.
Amora Rabbah in B'reishis Rabbah in
B'reishis Rabbah heard R' Bibi bar Abba
shaila, and he made the following
comment. He said, "R' Bibi bar Abba
yachid from the fact that R' Bibi bar
Abba is asking this question, shma
minna, it's clear Hoisila shasya koshya
v'nisslava ain dam tamei kibbus. We're
going to see later in the Gemara that
although the Mishna said dam chatas
that's possul ain tamei kibbus, but
there's a machlokes Tanna'im if that's
only true in the event that this dam was
possul m'tchilas b'riyasa, meaning it
was never kosher, never had a shasya
koshya. For example, the sh'chita of the
chatas happened with a machshava l'shum
d'shma, or machshava l'chuts l'zman,
l'chuts l'makom. It's only then that
it's viewed as dam possul that there's
no din kibbus. Or if it's true even if
it was Hoisila shasya koshya, even if
the dam was okay, and then only later
something happened. Now, this shaila
clearly presupposes that the halacha
that dam chatas that's possul is ain
tamei kibbus is true even if the dam had
a shasya koshya, because this dam had a
shasya koshya. The dam was good dam. Had
it become possul, it's landing on a
beged, which is tamei. And the shaila
is, do you say that we look at it as dam
possul, so there should be no halacha of
kibbus? If you're going to tell me the
only time you don't have a din kibbus is
where it was like Hoisila shasya koshya,
then this conversation is a moot point.
So, Rabbah b'rei d'R' Yehoshua said
that's clear from Rabbah b'rei d'R'
Yehoshua's ibbaya that he was of the
opinion that the halacha that dam chatas
that's possul ain dam tamei kibbus is
true even if it was Hoisila shasya
koshya. What's the shaila? The shaila is
Hani mi'hu b'zacha zeh? Do you say that
the only time dam chatas possul ain dam
tamei kibbus is if first it became
possul and afterwards it landed on the
beged. Aval d'vasacha lo, but if it
happens at the same time, being that it
was kosher before landed on the beggar,
maybe there is a
or there's no difference. It doesn't
matter if it's
if it's
the moment that that lands on the
beggar, the dam becomes tummy because
the beggar is tummy. So that's enough to
say that there won't be a lot of
so here's the total
following answer. He said the answer to
your
is the
following
I'll leave it to the
who could have come with that and based
on the way
explained it and then
further embellished. In other words, the
answer
was a little bit of a riddle. Maybe came
with a innocent question. Told him great
it's
I'll leave it to the
so the
Tanya we learned
in other words going to explain
says make sure you
make sure we had a lot of intertwined
in
walking. The context over there is the
that's the
that was used to mix together with the
of the
to sprinkle on somebody that was maze so
that now he could be
the question in hand was what happens if
the
becomes
could you use it or can you not use it
and at first glance you would think a
like this is dead on arrival.
You can use for the
I was going to say
it's the
that's
the
that's tell me you can use you can mix
it with the
and you can sprinkle it. And what was
his
shall we need them as in the
because the is that if a woman's a and
she's also to maze
she can get the of the
with the
sprinkled on her and it'll be
upon him from to maze. The time is
the moment that the touches this the
becomes
and still you see it's metahir
so you clearly see that you don't need
the meichaltas to be tahor in order for
it to be able to be metahir. So, says
Rebbe Elazar, meichaltas she nitmu,
metahir. The chachamim argue but al kol
panim, that's shitas Rebbe Elazar. Says
the Gemara, Rebbe Nachman said Rebbe
Elazar's shita is like Rebbe Akiva,
Rebbe Akiva holds like
that said that you can bring a raya from
a nida to all meichaltas temei'im that
they can be metahir must be going like
shitas Rebbe Akiva, his rebbe. Omar, how
about this kulei Rebbe Nachman tamay
kimunach tamay, who's of the opinion
that if somebody would take a a keili
that has in it something tahor and he
would carry it on top of a makom tamay,
we would look at that thing that he's
carrying as if it's kimunach, as if it's
on the ground, and being that it's on
top of a davar tamay, we would look at
it as if it's tamay. Incidentally, this
is Rebbe Akiva's shita holds in Shas
like kulei Rebbe Shimon ben Nachman. So,
Rebbe Akiva's shita in Maseches Shabbos,
but that's Rebbe Akiva's shita and it
applies not only to Hilchos Shabbos but
it applies to Hilchos Tumah. How do I
know that?
It's in Maseches Parah, hayo omed betoch
hatanur vesheretz betanur. So, there was
a person standing on one side of the
tanur.
The tanur itself had a sheretz inside.
In other words, the tanur was tamay.
Vahochshiach yado el hachalon and he
stuck his hand into a window which was
on the other side of the tanur. So,
basically there's a tanur separating
this person and the chalon. Venatal es
halog and the person went and he took a
bat a bottle a keili that had meichaltas
in it from the chalon and he carried it
from the chalon to him, which means he's
going over the airspace of this tanur
which is tamay. The halacha is Rebbe
Akiva metahir and the chachamim metahir.
Rebbe Akiva says it's tamay and the
chachamim say it's not. Uvah halacha
lemaaseh, what's the birur hamachlokes?
He said Rebbe Akiva, Rebbe Akiva holds
kimunach tamay. This is Rebbe Akiva's
shita in Shas that kulei Rebbe Shimon
ben Nachman. And it's not only true in
Hilchos Shabbos, it's true with regards
to Hilchos Tumah as well. Specifically
with regards to the laws of Parah
Adumah. So, if you now took this log in
shel mayim that had in it the mine
crime. You carried it on top of the the
time or it's communal
it becomes something.
The bottom line is not going to be
communal
but what's the bottom line? It says
this is
the old school
and it's true not only in
this is true with regards to communal
specifically with regards to the bottom
line. The bottom line is
you want to know how
it was able to prove from the fact that
you could sprinkle the
if the mine was
may occur it could be
because
that holds
which means that every time you sprinkle
the water on the needle before the water
touches the needle it already became
as soon as it's hovering in the air
space and gave you a
as long as it's hovering on the in the
air space on top of the needle it
automatically becomes even before it
touched the needle which means that it
was technically even before the
so you see that mine that's
you're able to use if that's the case
time is the
let's bring it back to
wanted to know
that's possible in
what happens if the was tall but it
landed on the back of the time so the
moment it touched the back end that's
when it became possible do you say that
it's like it was possible
in
do you say maybe
it's going to be different I'm going to
leave it
so what is
say look at the
I'll leave it to the bottom of the
bottom of the
which at this point is very
he said it's the bottom of the
and the way explained because according
to the bottom of the
that who's going to
that there's a concept of communal
so
So, like we said at the may the when
it's on top of the needle, even before
it lands the needle, it's already Tommy
cuz it's on top of the needle.
So, that the mayim is Tommy before it
touches the needle. So, too the dam not
the may the dam
will be Tommy before it lands on the bag
yet. So, if that's the case that it's
like regular dam possible that landed on
the bag. Regular dam possible lands on
the bag it is a normal gibbus but
according to the that argue with the
that hold that may
that's Tommy cannot be metier. I the
needle that's different cuz there it's
becoming Tommy when it touches the
needle. It wasn't Tommy before touch the
needle because the don't go with you
give it a don't hold off clutters. Same
thing is going to be true over here that
the dam that was possible may
there won't tongue keepers but if it
became possible the moment it landed on
the bag it over there it would be tongue
keepers. At first glance with his is
telling
that the answer to your
is it's telling the like it's a lot of
but leave it at that. But because they
added one piece he said it would keep
the metier
what's that piece? The more continues
they are by you a by you ask the
question to a bow. So, we know was a
bias ready a bias refers to my so I buy
ask the question to his ready. He says
ready I don't understand and he asked
him a really good question. Wait
till they
with the says that even
that said that if somebody was standing
on one side of a tunnel and it was a on
the other side of the tunnel and it was
logging show my in the
he stuck his hand into the
takes the logging show my over the
tunnel. That logging is it's going to be
Tommy but he himself was worried by so
that if you would sprinkle you would
sprits the may
over the Tommy that near the would be
that it doesn't become Tommy. The only
time you say
the only time you say
is if you're holding the thing. It's a
little counter intuitive but if you're
not holding it but rather it's it's
traveling in the ear on top of it, here
the law is different. It's and it's a
foolish after.
Point is you
that if something is mild, something
travels on top of a double time it that
the law is it becomes time
Macy's mobile
things last even a minute guys by the
way find the cancer by an Evan that's a
material by the way
there's a concept of Thomas Macy's maybe
but uh I hold the French moose, but the
point is is that that's the only time
you find such a concept of a
Sabaya said if that's the case, we have
to go back and we have to we have to be
revisit the
really as it relates to the
Rubble laws and the
everybody holds that it's love coming
out of the me meaning if somebody is
going to
make out of this on top of a meter it's
not going to be
cuz even
that holds the dummy you only have this
if you're holding it in your hand but
once you but what right spend it in the
air if you were massive it's not going
to be come on out of the
cuz what's the matter
the giver some of the giver holds cuz we
know you know what the bonus like those
we know the whole thing
the why if somebody stuck his hand over
the time to take the log in to my hand
why would be time it is what we give a
hold that being that you're holding it
is a
we're afraid that maybe you're going to
put it down there's a issue might put it
down so he holds come on out of the me
but the
are not worried
given enough of the law and we
that we give a might have it by the law
being that there's no swallow of you
know what cuz it already it's already
out of your hand, so maybe over there
you have nothing to worry about. So,
what then is the
Let's just stop it for one second. It's
not such an easy Basically, what just
proved is said there's no such sheet as
Rebbe Akiva who holds that if you're
mazir a dover tahor on top of a dover
tamei, as soon as it's in the airspace
on top of the dover tamei, even before
it lands, we could look at it as if it's
based on
what Rebbe Akiva said. It's true Rebbe
Akiva holds
and it's true he said it even regarding
tumah. That's the case of the tanur
where you stuck your hand. But it's only
true if you're holding it. It's only
based on a on a on a
on a
really, not on a on a
But if you are mazir it where there's no
because given the
there's no such
of
If that's the case, then Rebbe Akiva has
no
Rebbe Akiva's case. What Rebbe wanted to
prove Rebbe held
that you could take
that's tamei and you could be mazir on a
on a person that's tamei and this is
going to be tahor. What was his
Everything is a raya. Because every nida
is you could be mazir from the parah
adumah.
Why don't you say that the way we
understood it, the way Rav explained it,
that it's
which means it became tamei before
landing on the on the on the nida.
Right? So,
it's a raya that even though you say
it's okay. In other words, even though
it's tamei, it could still be metahor.
That's all true if there's such a sheet
in the world that holds by
There's no such sheet. Because the only
sheet that would have been Rebbe Akiva.
Like Rebbe Rav said, Rebbe sheet is
Rebbe Akiva Rav But there is no such
Rebbe Akiva. Rebbe Akiva only said it
when you're holding it where there's
no But given the
there's no
There's no So, what is So, what is
So,
is
said the
Everybody holds it's not
Why? Again, because you were mazir it.
So, what then is the
I'm
done in Rebbe
It's very simple.
Rebbe
didn't hear a between
and nida. kehachad. But you find this
throughout shas. Whenever something's
bon kehachad, how do you look at a bon
kehachad? Gittin yad bon kehachad. You
have it over and over and over again.
It's always tricky. In Rebbe Lazar's
world, I don't hear a chilluk. The
bottom line is is that if you're going
to tell me that the moment the
meichatess touches the the tamei, it
becomes tamei. That's not a problem.
Then if it was tamei 5 seconds earlier,
it shouldn't be a problem either. Not
that in the case of me that it was tamei
5 seconds earlier. It wasn't. Because
there's no kluta. Because giving enough
of nothing. But he doesn't even the
chamo that that there is a chilluk.
That's the machlokes. It has nothing to
do with kluta. Okay. What's that got to
do with the original shaila? The
original shaila was dam chatas she nitas
al beged tamei. Dam chatas that's pasul
in tumas toin keilim. Dam chatas that's
not pasul dam toin keilim. What if it
became pasul at the moment it landed on
the beged? What's the case? It landed on
a on a beged tamei. Zokt Rebbe Chisda,
it's again plukta de Rebbe Lazar Rebbe
Nachman al liba de Rebbe Ukida de Tarei
Tzva'im. What's Kidushei Tarei Tzva'im?
The way Rebbe Akiva explains machlokes
Rebbe Lazar and Rebbe Nachman, which is
simply a machlokes, is there a chilluk
between bevas achas and bevas achas
achas or is there no chilluk between
bevas achas and bevas achas achas?
According to Rebbe Lazar, there's no
chilluk between bevas achas achas. He's
bringing a raya to bevas achas from a
case of bevas achas. He's bringing a
raya that the meichatess could be pasul
meikara. It could be tamei meikara from
a case where it's becoming tamei. That
means there's no chilluk between bevas
achas achas. If that's the case, then
just like bevas achas dam chatas that's
pasul in tumas toin keilim, bevas achas
alacha is also going to be in tumas toin
keilim. But according to the Chachamim,
there is a distinction between bevas
achas and bevas achas, there will be a
distinction between bevas achas achas
when it comes to dam chatas as well. If
you held if you held Chashmona, there's
one very obvious problem with this. And
Rashi asks the kasha. So Rashi asks the
kasha, you know, it's a very important
kasha. You can't go by it or whatever.
And that is is that what did Rebbe
Chisda tell him? Rebbe Nachman Rebbe
Nachman asked the shaila, and Rebbe
Chisda answered him with a riddle. He
told him it's plukta de Rebbe Lazar
Rebbe Nachman al liba de Rebbe Ukida de
Tarei Tzva'im. That is rabba and Abaya
were two completely different beerum in
the machlokes of rabbinical laws and
chachamim is whether you say or you
don't say chachamim.
Abaya said the machlokes of rabbinical
laws and chachamim is whether done
in there's a chelek between chachamim
and there's no chelek between chachamim.
Either carrot is a perfect first of
rabbinical laws and chachamim, but they
don't work together. They don't jive.
It's either told in the machlokes of
rabbinical laws and rabbonim the way
rabba explained it or it's told in the
machlokes of rabbinical laws and
rabbonim the way
Abaya explained it. But the point is
it's not a leeba de rabba who could have
met Abaya. Abaya wasn't a carrot rabba.
Abaya slugged up knocked out rabba's
exactly. He didn't qualify
rabba. To the contrary knocked out
rabba. So what's the kid of a carrot
Abaya de rabba who could have met Abaya?
It's other other. And really it's not
other other. It's only the second other
because the first other was knocked out.
Right? Abaya asked knock out kasha. He
said you're telling rabba you're giving
a mishna don't knock out rabba. You're
giving a mishna parik yudin in the parik
yudin you're giving a parik test in the
parik yudin. This is two
it doesn't work this. So Rashi asked the
kasha and Rashi said you have to say the
thing that Abaya was rabba's
talmud and Abaya had tremendous covid
for rabba. So rabba said the and then
Abaya said and he told rabba my say
rebbe I don't think it works because
there's a daf
and they worked it out together and
together they came out that the beer is
probably not the way rabba said it
rather the beer is the way Abaya said
it. But being that this wasn't done in a
hostile setting. This wasn't done this
wasn't covid like a talmud who was make
of his rebbe the way Abaya had covid and
rebbe rabba. So it's as if they came out
that way together and that's why it's
still attributed to rabba a little bit
of a Rashi, but that's the way Rashi
explains it. Regardless we had two
beerum in the machlokes of rabbinical
laws and chachamim. Either beer works in
terms of coming full circle and relating
it back to the original
stating that if there's rubber and
there's a buyer there's always going to
be rubber so that's the
third beer rubber man rubber says as it
relates to the
rubber
really everybody holds ain't done
and everybody holds there's no
so what then is the
again
said that
says Tommy could you can use the entire
what's the right from every needle the
homes that you can't bring a riot from a
needle what's the right from a needle
needles
this is
and there's no clue to
we know that from
and you tell me you're not going to
so what then is the
is the third time we had this
rubber holds that has of
requires a certain share of how much
Mayan had to go on the Tommy not to that
we start from you didn't necessarily
have to do that whole one shot you can
do two three
and you can be
being that that's the case
when you do that the needle the first
that lands on the needle becomes Tommy
and she's not necessarily tall her yet
because you may have to do multiple
so let's say by the time you do the
third the first two is that time was
already Tommy so it's not
it's it's
and still you see it works so from every
needle there's a riot that
works what's the right I could find it
now I'll be sure if it was always one
but it's not one
it could be it was multiple
and the first Mayan that landed on the
needle became Tommy
exactly before she became tall her it
didn't happen
and still you see it works so you're not
done in
every case
as well what do the and hold the
opponent the opponent hold
does he have no right access which just
before we go further, just one
interesting thing. So, you see in this
Gemara
an idea that a Niddah that's also tumah
tumas meis. So, the halacha is she can
get tahara from tumas meis despite the
fact that she's a Niddah. Meaning, you
would think that maybe while she's tumah
meis,
she can't get the tahara of the parah
adumah. Come ask the one that even
though she's tumah right now tumas
Niddah, it's not a contradiction to the
fact that on the day of the eighth of
the parah adumah, she can paint tahara
for the fact that she's a tumah meis.
Stating that, there's a very, very
interesting Rashi. "Tzarei Niddah she
nitma b'meis, mazina well b'fnei tfilas
Niddahsa. V'tovelus lishnei hatumois
b'tfila achas."
Says Rashi, "What happens with a Niddah
that's a tumah tumas meis?" So, at the
end of the tumas meis, the the tumah
needs tfila.
A Niddah also needs tfila. Says Rashi,
"V'tovelus lishnei hatumois b'tfila
achas." That
at the end of the time of tumas meis and
the Niddah, she's going to do one tfila
and she's going to knock out both the
kashrus lover and the Hashem yimkom
damo. And in the sefer sicha sodah,
who's medayek in Rashi, it sounds like
from Rashi that even though it's Mevuan
this chiddush that the hazah of the
parah adumah was able to be done on a
Niddah, but at the same time, you can't
be tovel a Niddah with tovel a tumas
meis if you're not going to end up being
tahor for both. In other words, as it
relates to the complete tahara, the
mikvah that's the metahir, that's only
shayach if the mikvah's going to be
metahir this Niddah side from the tumas
Niddah and side from the tumas meis. So,
you want to get the tahara from the
eighth of the parah adumah that you can
get. But, the maiseh, the tahara is
still suspended on some level. You still
that's the kind of mikvah. So, that you
wait until you're done. When you're
ready to go to the mikvah, hand mitzad
tumas Niddah, the hand mitzad tumas
meis. Then, one spring around in the
mikvah, the tovel, you're going to get
tahara. But, to go into the mikvah,
let's say, for nidah while you're still
tumah to mas meis, or to go to the
mikvah for tumah meis while you're still
tumah to mas nidah, that's not possible.
Because the mikvah only works if it's
metayer.
Oh, oh, excellent. Because at the end of
the day, mikvah only works if you're
tahor. And being that you're anyways
going to emerge from the mikvah tumah,
there's no koach in the mikvah. And
that's why Rashi points out that as it
relates to the tevilah of the mikvah,
it's going to have to be one tevilah. It
can't be two independent tevilahs. You
can't say, "Okay, you'll be tovel for
nidah, and then when it's time to be
tovel for the tumah meis, you'll be
tovel for tumah meis." Rashi went out of
his way to tell me "Ve'toiveles lishnei
tumois b'tevilah achas." Says the Kodesh
Baruch Hu V'Hu Go'ein, "Don't think you
could do one tevilah for this, and then
when you're ready to do the next
tevilah, you do the next tevilah."
Either you Either the tevilah is being
metayer you, or it's not being metayer.
You can't walk out of the mikvah and
still be tamei. The emphasis this
chiddush, this
tremendous yeshivish already. And really
it starts with Rav Chaim's chakiros, Rav
Chaim's stencils, Rav Chaim Kluger
chakiros. We all know the tevilah of the
sheretz b'yado is not a tevilah. Rav
Chaim Kluger chakiros. What's the pshat
if someone's tovel for a sheretz b'yado?
He's tamei. Is the pshat that the
tevilah worked?
After pigul, this is the second big,
yeah.
So, Rav Chaim Kluger like this. If
somebody's tovel for a sheretz b'yado,
is the pshat that the tevilah is a
tevilah?
The tevilah was tevilah.
But, problem is he's touching a sheretz,
so he became tamei again. Or is a tovel
for a sheretz b'yado not considered a
tevilah? A tovel for a sheretz b'yado,
being that he's holding a sheretz, so
the tevilah wasn't a tevilah. Rav Chaim
said, "What's the nafka mina?" Nafka
mina would be let's say you're being
tovel for tumah meis, a tumah chamurah.
So, if the pshat is that the tevilah is
a tevilah, so you're going to walk out,
you're not tamei to mas meis anymore.
You're going to have a tumah kaloh.
You're only going to have tumah sheretz.
But, if the pshat is the tevilah is not
a tevilah, then the fact that you're
tovel for a sheretz b'yado, you're
touching the sheretz, you're still going
to be tamei to mas meis. What's the
second side of Rav Chaim? He partially
would say, "Why shouldn't the tevilah be
a tevilah? The tevilah works for Thomas
Mayes. No I'm holding a chair. It's
what's the the other side is because
feel that has to be
you and if the feel is not
you then it's
the
reason that is not for a double cow.
It's because you're you're you're you're
holding a chair but at the end of the
way it finish taller and if the can't
pronounce it can't make a proclamation
that this year this tall then the feel a
type of goodness. It's not a feel. If
it's not a feel the minute you start
going to be
Thomas Mayes the
that it's really a mission
that first glance it would seem to be a
mission. This mission is a
mission at the very end of mission
mission
mission what they discuss is
there was a person that was a person
whose coming out to my Shiva right
show us a man right the mission in the
first mission
carbon maybe so we're dealing with a
show carry and he was about carry during
the time that he was a he was a carry.
So what's the of a carry? See how to say
but someone that's he's not going to
until he until he goes to the but is a
so to speak carry is a is a cow. So
carry or
a woman that's in need of a mission era
who also treated like a carry the is
three things to do
after the
meaning you would have thought that
being that you're in the middle of the
seven days of
the woman is in the middle of the seven
days of
so she's anyways
what's the point of going to the now for
carry says the mission three things to
do
but he says no
he says that that being that you're
anyways
you're going to be you don't for for
Thomas carry. If you take a look at the
really all the just to bring out the
point says the the the the
the
holds the
even though this person is a even if
he's going to go to the now for Thomas
carry he's still going to be a
I feel
the absolute time
with everything
you might as well get rid of the of the
Thomas keri. Rabbi Yehudah says Rabbi
Yehudah argues. Rabbi Yehudah says no,
you don't go to the mikvah. She ain't
feeling my head. Well, hence she Well,
hence ain't feeling my head. The kiva
ain't feeling my head. Skip the word
kiva. The kiva ain't feeling my head.
Meaning that the feeling doesn't work.
There is no point in doing the tvila.
What's the Sounds like I'm going to kill
you. Is there a concept of a tvila of
going to the mikvah that kind of
government you're not going to walk out
tahor or is there no such concept if
you're not going to walk out tahor?
Either way, it's from Chaim Chaikira.
There seems to be a mishna here in
Maseches Brachos is the katzeglove of
gainst the again our Rashi. There's a
lot a lot of rais, but just to conclude,
wrap up this roots prematurely with a
with a version of the Labavitcher Rebbe.
And that is that the mishna says in
Maseches Yoma daf peh heh amud beis.
Omrei Rabbi Akiva, Rabbi Akiva said
ashrechem Yisrael lifnei Mi atem
mitaharin u mi mitahareschem? Avichem
sheba shamayim. She na'amar vezarakti
aleichem mayim tahorim utahartem. V'oyim
mikveh Yisrael Hashem. Mah mikveh
mitahares atmeim? Afa Baruch Hu
mitahares Yisrael. Everybody knows this
mishna. So, ra- ra- Mah mikveh mitahares
atmeim? Afa Kadosh Baruch Hu mitahares
Yisrael. And the Labavitcher Rebbe made
a subtle but a but a but a such a
profound deek. Mah mikveh mitahares
atmeim? Everybody knows a mikveh is
mitahares atmeim. Why does the mishna
have to say Mah mikveh mitahares atmeim?
Mah mikveh mitahares? Mah mikveh
mitahares atmeim? So, the Labavitcher
Rebbe shlita took this mishna in
Maseches Brachos daf chof vov amud alef.
They see that the chachamim hold and we
pasken like the chachamim that if
somebody is a zav, but he was raw keri,
he can go to the mikveh for tumas keri
and he's going to be all his keri even
though he still has the tumas chamurah.
But the tumas kallah, that's something
that's going to be removed. In other
words, a mikveh is not an all or
nothing. A person could go to the mikveh
and he can get taharah for whatever he
shaiach to get taharah to. Even though
he's not walking out 100% kavanaki
tahor. He's not. But for whatever that
shaiach for the tumas keri, he'll get
taharah. Maybe not for the tumas zav,
but for the tumas keri, yeah. Said the
Labavitcher Rebbe, Afa Kadosh Baruch Hu
mitahares Yisrael. not an all or nothing
game. A person thinks sometime I'm going
to do I'm going to try to get tired for
a certain area. The end of the day I
have so many of various of so many of
winners. I'm still some of the
what do I have to get any level of
Kapala? The college board is like to
make for man make for me
to lay not to lay in the maker for that
mission would have to say to me but even
people that emerge to mayor you to mayor
after the maker You should be all right
but at the same time the maker work to
take away the
maker work to take away the carrier even
though you still going to be left with
the Thomas of Africa
with
as you stroll in the same vein that any
little bit of trivia that we do any
little bit of Tyra that we seek we get
tired for that we're not perfect you're
right it's not an all or nothing game
cuz it's my tire even the today either
way talk to me
how to
that
of of a person Mr. That's a lot lighter
from here on so even though that is a
dumb that's possible
that ain't dumb
I'm sorry even though that is
but that is possible ain't dumb
the mission said it doesn't matter if
it's a person
whether the the dumb was possible maker
or it had a
it doesn't matter either way that is
ain't dumb
says the
it says me dumb to the person
That discusses the
of dumb to say that
me dumb of a big I should use
the
college it says
the most some of it's dumb
and we learn from the same
only from some of the dumb not all of
the dumb dumb
needs dumb doesn't need to give it says
the mission
like
ain't dumb it says it argues with the
dumb of the mission says it depends if
it was or not
then
it's only if it's
ain't done with keepers.
It doesn't matter if it was
ain't done with keepers. My time with
as you know
maybe the
only talking about what it was
like but it was
like I saw because
there's two do you care? It says that
she is a matter and then two later it
says
I saw
So, two do you care? How do you know
what happened?
Two do you care? I'm coming to be
like I saw
what
do you care?
What do you care?
Only
what do you care?
So, what do you care? What do you care?
What do you care?
Says the probably true coming to be
true
with regards to the
America
which is a a different that the is going
to discuss later in the
and that is the is that carbon that was
cooked in a pot specifically you have to
destroy the pot if it was cooked in a
clean
so then
you're supposed to either or something
or just rinse it really really well.
That is only true for
it's true for other culture as well but
probably true it's not true for true.
How do you know true is excluded from
that America
is that
probably true probably true probably
true probably true probably true
probably true probably true probably
true probably true probably true
probably true probably true probably
true probably true probably true
probably true probably true probably
true probably true probably true
probably true probably true probably So,
you have to mute it both related to the
keepers. One is coming to tell me the
of what I saw what I saw what I saw what
I saw and the second one is coming to
tell me what I saw what I saw what I saw
even if it was what I saw what I saw
what I saw what I saw what I saw what I
saw either way another mission or that
discusses the
of
what I saw what I saw what I saw what I
saw what I saw what I saw what I saw
what I saw what I saw what I saw if
sprits from the top of the Behema
straight on the Beged. It's a dumb hot
sauce went directly from the top of the
Behema onto the Beged. Ain't give us a
lot of doesn't need give us. When I
carried him and I saw it what if it went
from the Misbeha? Either the carrot,
that's what you do this Rico. Like the
carrots was on the carrots of Misbeha or
from the Yisod. That's where you put the
Shirai. That's what the Shifcha Shirai
was also ain't on give us. Out Nischpa
Rispah, let's say it it poured on the
ground. The Asvoi, Rashi says it was
Nischpa Rispah meaning not over meaning
it was it was the bad Nischpa not the
good Nischpa. This dam is possible.
Ain't on give us you don't need give us.
Ain't on give us all the dam is covered
with clear water. When do you need give
us? If the dam was Nischpa in a clear
and it's
on. So this Mishna is a little wordy. I
seems to repeat itself a little bit. The
Gamara is going to address. So the first
Mishna was Nitis Min Saver Allah Beged
ain't on give us. The second Allah was
Min Karen or Min Yisod ain't on give us.
So if it happened before the Kabala
ain't on give us. If it happened after
this Rico it's also ain't on give us.
Turn around you have this all the way
ain't on give us. I would have thought
that if it goes directly from the top
onto the Beged there should be give us
I see Yisod. Where are you marking the
right side of the Gamara is making a
beautiful day in the Posik. The Posik
that describes the dam landing on the
Beged says Yisod Allah Beged. Yisod is a
washing hazard. Sounds like we're
talking about a Rico. What do you mean a
hazard? It it it was a hazard on the
Beged. It landed on the Beged. When you
talk about the Misbeha you talk about
the Mitzvah of hazard of Rico. Use a
washing of Yisod. It it was Nischpa on
the Beged. It poured on the Beged. Why
this word Yisod? So Yisod is coming to
tell me it has to be Rico hazard. If the
dam was Rico hazard then you have the of
give us it wasn't Rico hazard. Can you
another braiser? You have this all the
way ain't on give us. I would have
thought that if it went from the Karen
or from the Yisod onto the Beged it
should be give us I see Yisod. Try I see
Faruza. From the same words I see Yisod
it's a different drasha. The first
drasha of the fact that the third use
the word hazard. why even using the word
as a? Must be it's right as a. Here it's
from the tents that the pastor uses.
Actually use it like a lotion acid. As
opposed something that's raw you as a
you're going to do as a with it. As
opposed to this that you already did as
a with it at that point. If it goes from
the misbehave onto the beggar, there's
no need to keep us. Nisha Allah ritzpa.
Then the mission continued and said that
if it was Nisha on the ritzpa, also
ain't on kibos. And then the mission
concluded ain't on kibos and then it's
called the kibos as a. Take the Gamora.
As you normally in the cash is on that
last line. We have last line for it.
It's a recap. But but what do we need a
recap for? Says the Gamora I'm coming
out. The way you read the mission is I'm
coming out. Nisha Allah ritzpa ain't on
kibos. What's the reason for Nisha on
the kibos? So fish ain't on kibos it's
called the kibos as a.
Cuz only time there's a lot of kibos if
it was Nisha the kibos and being that
this
wasn't Nisha the kibos it was Nisha. So
for that reason there's no a lot of it.
Then the mission said the as a.
What does that mean? Next Gamora. As you
normally
right ain't on kibos
I'm sure it's called the kibos that I
get. That's the Nisha. But what's this
other line? The as a.
Says the Gamora the
kibos with the as a as a.
So this is like the Gamora sometimes
says Nisha okay
I'm just telling me something like
completely as a.
That's what's going on over here. So the
mission is telling me a lot of random so
to speak. But there is as a
and that is that if somebody was
the as a. As a as a as a as a as a as a
as a.
And then he was
the two times you would think it should
be kosher. Why not? So the is that it's
going to be possible. The it's not going
to be kosher. And that means if it's not
going to be kosher that if I'm that was
Nisha
in that way is Nisha
the beggar that is the is not going to
need kibos. And that's what the as a is
teaching me. The as a means the
something. What's a Lam what they if it
was in the scabo pocha is big there big
there. Oop pocha is big there big there.
Then even if you were marrying together
if they had done when they were on a big
year it's going to be pocha it says the
the Tanya. We went to the brasa of Rav
Kaddish pocha big there big
there. Meaning what's the cut of this
halacha? It comes from Rav
Kaddish. He said if somebody was Kaddish
not done but we return to mechat was
paid for poris as Rashi big there big
there big there. Like Kaddish. So if
somebody was Kaddish is a sheer of how
much the has to be right we said to be a
sheer. So if there was pocha big there
big there big there big there big there
and you marry the two things so what's
the halacha? The halacha is it's not
good. Like Kaddish it's not kosher for
pora e by the dam what about with
regards to dam? Do we do we say that
this halacha of pora is halacha machine?
You can't learn things from halacha
machine.
It's a normal hustle my timer or maybe
it's not a halacha machine. The fact
that by the mechat us pocha big there
big there big there big there big there
doesn't work is not learned out merely
from halacha machine
but it could be learned out from a
possum. What would the drasha be? The
tova by mayim and by mayim Rashi says
the deek is it doesn't say be mayim with
a shva it says by mayim with a patach
and that's coming to teach me that it
has to be
the
water that you were Kaddish meaning the
feeler into the mayim has to be
the same mayim that was Kaddish. So just
like there's a sheer of mayim
in terms of what you need when you do
the feeler so too you would have had to
have that same sheer may Kora when you
were Kaddish the mayim. But the point is
if that's the source if that's the cut
of how you know pocha big there big
there big there big there big there. If
you know it from the tova by Mayim, if
that's the case, then and
by dam it says the Torah by dam and
maybe the would be true by dam as well.
So again, that was the
but
said
like as it relates to the you can't be
because it
and then mix them together. You have to
be
the entire
and the
is that true only for
or is that true for a dam as well? Dam
dam
would that have the same exact
incidentally says we're talking about
the
what is the dam the Torah
as it relates to the
so
do you have the same do you have to
and what is the start of the
is the dam as it relates to the
so you can't learn dam as it relates to
the if the
can't learn things from
but if the the
the
then I could say I have the same deal
for dam also says the
dam would be true by dam as well. Says
the dam dam dam
dam dam
dam dam it doesn't work. Bottom line, if
you see that by dam there's a you have
to
the entire share the
so could be when the mission says
it means that so too we are the dam
itself was the whole story with the dam
was is that it wasn't
that dam that lands on the
the is going to be that type of dam
ain't
that the
dam said
we don't get a
it's funny. On my time. On my
the Torah so we just mentioned the
the Torah
the Torah continues and says the dam so
that
so obviously we're talking about the
Torah
that in addition to the
the
there were also that were done on the
seven
that were done on the
all the apnimiyos had as always that
were done on the paroches. The two
chatoyis apnimiyos that were brought in
Yom Kippur also had as always that were
done in bein adam l'chaveiro sh'b'Kodesh
but all chatoyis apnimiyos, in addition
to some of the other the fact that they
were part of the man and seraphim and it
was done inside the heichal in contrast
to a chatoyis that when it was
b'chachitzah and that you're not allowed
to bring the dam into the heichal that's
the p'suk in Mishnah but in addition to
all that, in addition to all that, they
also had as always that were done on the
paroches. And that's what the pasuk
says, "V'toval hakoin es etzbo b'dam."
"V'hizah min adam." And the Gemara is
going to darshen three words in this
pasuk. Number one, "V'toval." Number
two, "B'dam." And number three, "V'hizah
etzbo min adam." Min adam as well. So
says the Gemara, "Amar Rav Nachman bar
Yitzchak d'Tanna Rav Oshaya, 'V'toval'
it's coming to teach me v'lo m'sapek
that you have to do t'vilah as opposed
to you can't schmear your hand, the
kohen can't, to get the dam that way. He
It has to be through a t'vilah." It
says, "B'dam." That's dalet halachos we
just said. "Achrei adam sh't'vilah
m'ikar." You have to make sure that the
shiur dam was there from the beginning.
When it says, "Min adam." "V'hizah min
adam." "Min adam sh'b'inyan." What does
that mean? So Rashi explains really the
Gemara is going to explain, "Min adam
sh'b'inyan" means that you can't use the
shiurayim of the etzba, which means that
if there were going to be seven hazoyos
on the paroches, there had to be seven
t'vilos. And in between each t'vilah as
we'll see he had to wipe his finger off
because the leftover dam on his finger
had a din shiurayim and the shiurayim
can't go on the mizbei'ach. So those are
the three halachos. Again, "V'toval"
means it has to be through t'vilah as
opposed you can't wipe your hand, you
can't schmear the the keili and take the
dam that way. "B'dam" means you need the
entire shiur hazah. "B't'chilas kid."
You have to be m'kabel it all with
hazahos. You can't be m'kabel a little
bit a little bit, mix it together and
then do the t'vilah. You need the dam
m'ikar. And "Min adam" is teaching me
that the shiurayim on the etzba is not
enough. The Gemara says, You need
all these words.
"Kulo" what the Gemara is about to say
is a little redundant. "L'galei m'kom
d'toval had to adjust the t'vilah have a
min adam have to be like a shiur t'vilah
I would say, "Okay, I know
but who said you need the shear may
cut?"
Okay, but don't teach us me Allah and
Kabbalah. How much time you have to
have? But who said that misafi is a
problem?
But what do they might or my rather the
what they share and share that but like
we explained that's coming to be
required shear and share that's that the
shear is going to be possible.
The shear on the shear is possible. Is
possible.
I'm going to tell me to her I heard from
your town mate.
Which town mate we don't know.
If the coin was being maza
and a little bit of what he was being
maza
went on
Actually and it landed on a bag yet.
Turn keepers.
Ain't turn keepers.
This Allah this price is a little bit
sauce.
The maza
A little bit of the dam lands on the bag
yet.
Actually he's
There is a turn keepers.
There's no keepers.
So he said I presume we did the way we
read the price. Actually the Allah has a
turn keepers. Until you finish doing all
of the seven eyes on the price There's
Allah of keepers. Mission eyes is but
once you finish doing all seven ain't
turn keepers. What's the cash? It sounds
like until you finish doing all seven
you're always going to need keepers.
Even if the dam that landed was the
shear and share that's possible. So
don't you have a right that the shear
and share that's possible? Is kosher?
Because if the Allah has a needs keepers
obviously it's not going to be dam to me
dam possible. So he told me back like
how he come this what he means. Actually
you have
it's not going to be done.
It doesn't mean actually he's finished
all seven. Each individual has
he did feel as until he does the if it
lands the
tongue keepers. Once he does the you
don't need
cuz once you do the it's already
and really does not need it's fair by
one more cash. Come on
after the finished doing the
and this is referring to the that was
done by the
those weren't done at the they were done
at
they were done at
the seven and the says
says we have
when the that was doing the with the
when he finished doing that
he would
take his hand and he would wipe it on
the pot the pot itself and it's really
based on a because the says the sort of
part of it
that's the sort of it stop I'll
show you how to take all the you have to
burn it together with the
so if there's any down left over he's
not using it as a towel cuz he's a deep
straight on the down. So he has to make
sure all the down gets in even the down
that's on his hand. But this is talking
about when he finishes everything.
It sounds like only when he finishes it.
But before he finishes it there's no
such a what's
the
the is if she is possible by the of the
then it should be possible when it comes
to the of the as well. And if it's
possible when it comes to the
as well then why is he only been
when he finishes that before in between
each of he should have to be
there's nothing wrong if a little bit of
the
mixes itself into the of
I thought the is possible that was the
that's what I
mean the is
it sounds like
that's
when you do
but if you weren't
no told him back
when he finishes he's
you have to be
like when he doesn't finish he has to be
his boy not his whole hand his boy
meaning the deal is because
it's when it's
when it's
you have to do but only with your finger
not with your whole hand
this when he finishes when he's his
entire hand he doesn't on the
that I know that's the possible we just
mentioned as don't want to say but that
has to be burned hello it's boy in
between
when he does on his finger but
what is
on the we
had this before that
came and served the dual purpose they
were called
means like to be
means to cleanse so you they would use
as cleansing utensils as well that's
what he wiped it he wiped it on the
just before we end just end with one
interesting thing so we're discussing
the over here of
why is this why you need what's the
reason for it why
if you look at the the we should in the
first
the first one
listen to what I'm saying so it says the
you know why
don't keep the the cottage has
the honey bag and last
cashier
meaning you want to make the bag and be
the way it was before the dam went on it
shall I
say the claw
cuz we're afraid that you may take the
bag and outside of the claw and if you
take the bag and outside of the
you're being in the dam the dam itself
is going to be going out so the is a
little bit the
says it a little bit more clear as you
all of the so
dam say
cuz the dam is dam and
with
which has a dam that it has to be with
the reason we don't allow bag and if the
dam is going to go on the bag and if you
say
and it's going to leave the claw and
here's the punchline
you say
it's going to be possibly you taste. And
you know what it may be culture with you
can't make culture possible. So you want
to know why there's a mix of
passion? Because the coins going to want
to wear these again or at the very least
he's going to take the outside of the
if the damage
inside the bag and when he takes the bag
and outside of the club is
a problem. So it's for that reason
there's a key person the reason you have
to have a sit is that there shouldn't be
in his parish on this positive right
here says he says history
on the same word
so the
he been nicer shall this
is because otherwise it's going to be
nicer and and nicer is a problem you
have to burn nicer so if you're going to
have done inside the bag and you're
going to take it home with you because
it's going to turn into nicer and it's
going to turn into nicer that's a
problem nicer and done
with the nicer and done possible there's
nicer when you have a nicer when it
comes to
I think this is history but I'll go it's
related to that's the point whether it's
said whether I'm going to clearly say or
whether it's nicer I don't know what
means we actually
say
but the man says it's nicer but the
bottom line is whether it's nicer or
whether it's it's related to but there's
an obvious question and we'll end with
this what's the
the of is only true by
it's not true by
if the related to
the reason why is it only true by
you know if it's a new day and there's a
key person you'll tell me some
reason why it's related to this is my is
the reason why it's related to
if it's related to the reason why it's
related to
the reason why it's related to the
reason why it's related to
the reason why it's related to the
