You Can't Walk Into This Shul With A Phone

we just installed this new thing at Boca ratone synagogue I'm really excited about and I want to tell you why hey barf what's going on so several years ago I was at the White House at the West Wing with my family taking a tour and outside the Situation Room of the West Wing there's a box and I asked the tour guy what is this box outside the Situation Room and they said you're not allowed to enter the Situation Room at the White House with a phone so everyone has to put the front of the box and I asked everyone vice president the president they said absolutely everyone when you're in the Situation Room you have to be in the Situation Room he needs all of your full concentration so we just put this in many shoes already have it beautiful box in our lobby when you come into our Situation Room called the main sanctuary you got to put your phone in the box you can charge it in the meantime it's a perfect convenience you take the key you lock it up it's safe and secure when you're in the Situation Room called the shul you're in the Situation Room but it's true not only in the show I gotta tell you we should be of storing these in our homes because we have a big problem of being absent present we're supposedly with our family we're supposedly out with our spouse and taking care of our children we're physically there but we're mentally and emotionally elsewhere because we're occupied by that phone so hey yesh um we have to climb that mountain and we'd be there the Situation Room is our surely Situation Room is with our spouse situation was running with our children if we can lock up and disconnect we can connect to the things that matter most everyone should have one have a great day
