do you ever find yourself with just too
much on your plate you've accepted upon
yourself too much to do at home and at
work and you're on the verge of burning
out how do we strike that perfect
balance in our life that we don't reach
that stage of burnout we learned in this
week's torah portion from yisro who sees
that moshe rabin wants to personally
take care of every single june to answer
their issues and there's no better
person to do that than moshe but he also
sees that outside of his tent there's a
long line of people waiting all day so
that they could get that moment with
motion and he goes up to motion and he
tells him you're on the verge of burning
out and so are the people who need to
wait all day to get a moment with you
you can't continue this way you have to
appoint a system of judges to help you
see a lot of times as parents
as workers we might feel that nobody can
take care of our kids
the way we do no one can run my business
the way i do but sometimes it's
important to empower other people to
help us raise the kids to help us run
the business even though they can't do
it the best way the way we could do it
but step away for two days like i was
blessed to step away here in tel aviv
with my wife
let go of the kids let go of the
business it's gonna be okay
you'll find yourself more refreshed more
rejuvenated with a new perspective
in order to strike that balance in your
life you have to take time for yourself
let go empower other people
be a better person
and then you won't reach that stage of
burning out shabbat shalom from tel aviv
