Hasidic Rabbi Stabbed In Monsey

I was here and I saw the emergency vehicles I saw her some shoes his um everything I saw his on over here I saw blood he couldn't describe anyone they came up from behind them and he said that very clearly and it was simply an unprovoked whatever their motives were it doesn't matter what we do know is that you know there's been a wave of hate and bigotry all over and this was now again whether it's whether this was the motive or not we know now that a visibly Orthodox Jew was attacked an unprovoked attack on the way to services thankfully this happened in front of a busy synagogue so he was you know caught in time and with the quick response that's all the paramedics were able to take him to the hospital he's a member of the community the family's been here for many years it just it's just so much more scary when it hits home someone you know nice family he's a teacher over the past couple of years there's been a rise in in bigotry and hate and anti-semitism some of it just attacking Jews for Jews some of it you know where people were called normal Jews versus Orthodox Jews it's been horrible and I trust me when I say this would not have been tolerated against any other minority sadly that's the fact it's been allowed it's being condoned as I said there's no there's no rhyme or reason there's no excuse there's no way to explain bigotry or hate
