I think that pushing each other to try new things is is what makes us who we are as a band is that it's not just the Zach show or the Schmo Show it's when Zack and schlomo come together to make music we're always trying to go above and beyond our comfort zones and that's what makes our music Inspire us if we get too comfortable then how can we be inspired you have to be inspired by something above you so I think each of us has something above above each other that when we like seek it and we help extract it through the the song writing process a lot of beautiful things happen and uh so maybe that's the deeper reason just simply because we got too stuck in our old style we felt like we Well Spring dried up and so Zach was like hey I got some stuff in my back pocket we you be open to exploring and I was very reluctant but felt like Zach really showed me that there's something beautiful that we could do if we if we really give it a shot so sold you really wanted to make we wanted to release more music more often and like it was taking us a long time to finish an album and to put it out it was taking us like a year and a half and we wanted to write more often and part of that practicality is just um it's hard to get a whole band together all the time and also SCH and I are dedicated to this project on a different level than most people are so for us we wanted to do it as much as possible and part of that was just what can we do just the two of us you know let's sit down in front of a laptop and put throw a few things in the background so that we can kind of write to that that and then we started sharing that and people started resonating with that so I think that was you know we're just sharing a lot more and not getting so stuck on like it has to be perfect and finished and it's going to take years to get it out I think we just want to write and put it out and just feel good about it and if we feel good about it then I think hopefully people will also
