exist or you don't exist there's no middle here you see we recognize that obviously and that's what he wants in any case so therefore he created what's called emanations spheros now nobody knows what they are but they are clearly uh they're not even spiritual really they're just dynamic entities that can create realities that's a very important concept of course they don't have any power in then you have etsira and you have asea and then asea itself is subdivided into a spiritual component and also a physical component we inhabit the asea the physical component which is the entire universe 13.7 billion light years not miles light years uh and in the light years approximately six trillion miles so imagine the distance of six trillion miles times 13.7 billion imagine the size i always find what's interesting about that that means god is larger than all of that you imagine a being that's larger than the universe it's incredible you know and it's obviously it's not only that but god is larger than the totality of all existence why because all existence is within him and he gives existence to that so he's got to be larger than all of that whatever obviously it's impossible to even think about this but in any case so he creates these spheres and these spheres now uh emanate whatever they call it's called the shepherd kedusha all right and they create these five realities and the realities get lower and lower they diminish because if you want to use an example of a light bulb in the wattage you know the spheres start out a thousand watts and the first universe which is now has 900 watts 800 700 and so on to get to this world which is extremely low wattage and the physical universe is ridiculous in terms of the divine energy that's invested in this universe in any case and all of these things essentially enable god to hide himself it's really what it is you see any dimension outside of god conceals god you see because the real idea of god that we are supposed we really cannot even comprehend that's a very important idea now the jews do it but they have to be responsible it's not enough that a jew does this he has to have free will what is free will really free will simply means where you are not compelled to do it god does not put in your mind to do it i mean he tells you but he does not compel you and the truth is you wouldn't know if he did that or not you don't know if you're thinking about that because you want to think about it if god is put putting that into your mind as far as you're concerned it's you no free will is called relative it's a range of free will you see but essentially we have free will right and we have to change the universe that's free will you know god does not put into your mind the idea or the desire you do itself brings up a lot of very interesting concepts and so on you see why because god wants you to be a true cause because he is a true cause god is not dependent on anybody he's not deprived of anything he's a being which we call shalem he's perfect but perfection is not in our you know perfection to us is relative you know if you have a guy who can lift you know uh 300 pounds wow they have another guy who can lift a thousand pounds not too many of those so we would say relatively speaking the guy who can lift a thousand pounds is perfect compared to the guy who can only lift 300. god's concept of perfection is absolute means there's nothing else that can be added to that meter to that trait that's what it means now we have no idea what that means we don't know how he does it but like the to your mind where did it get its existence from it doesn't exist because he's the only one that could have given existence to that thought but if you're the one who originated that thought excuse me where did he where did you get the existence for that thought what in god or else it would be free will we don't know we have no idea in many ways how free will works but it does why because god wants us to truly cause and therefore be responsible for what we do namely transformation of the cosmos of creation into a higher level that's really the whole gist of judaism you know and so on now there's a big problem with free will what's the problem it's true that if you do it you will have created a true thing by yourself without god's input that's true and therefore we are god-like and that's what god wants that we should be god-like but there's a big problem what's the problem because imagine if there are a million people on the planet right and they all have free will free will in terms of what of their behavior you know will they listen to god or not so it's possible then for every one of them to do evil which people do all the time so imagine if the entire mankind commits evil 24 7 they don't even take a break you see is that possible of course it's possible because man has been granted free will oh so wait a minute this is not good if god grants man free will they can ruin the whole situation they can defy the will of god it's astounding when you think about that and god not that he's okay with it but he allows that to transpire they defy the will of god you see so that's a real problem now you're going to ask me well did that really ever happen what are the odds that everybody does evil right 24 7 or whatever therefore they frustrate god if you want to use that
