totally Incognito everywhere you go except for maybe here but over here everyone's just kind of wondering if you think they're a which of course you know is only one self-judgment it's nothing to do with the guy walking in actually the guy walking in usually most of the time if he looks like me I promise you he's wondering if you you know are judging him [Music] because we're all self-judging you know when you meet somebody the first time you're until you get to know him a bit you have no idea where you stand in his eyes you know because think of all the categories that we live in you know she has like two grand pianos and like dueling Grands and all her artwork she's an incredible artist gone like everything's gone so so but she's like oh I'm like a little girl again and she was so excited because the only place they could rent the place they rented was in the F community in P Robertson and she's like she's like I've never been this happy before cuz cuz they've been living on the cliffs doing shabas by themselves and she's so excited to walk to the Happy minion and be part of things yeah and uh it's not a nice name the Happy minion you ever think about that like the RAB pack and you know I mean you own nothing you know so you might as well come to Israel and and he was like I can't come to Israel I have to be in touch with Architects and contractors I have to rebuild my house and that's all he thinks about and he's like he reminds me of something I heard Rabbi berer talk about anti-Semitism Rabbi mty Berger said that that there's uh that ants did you know this ants have burial ants have burial when an ant dies the ants bury the they they smell that there's a dead ant and then they find that ant they carry it they hold a via and bury the ant and uh so they make the mistake of thinking that um that that commitment follows Logistics that commitment follows Logistics meaning people would think it was a little irresponsible to commit to things before you figured out if you can do it right right so which is true you know it's like you're going to commit to something that you can't do you know if you can't do it don't commit to it so right so there's um the problem is is that yes you're right in most cases it's not responsible to be committing to things before you can figure out if logistically you could be there or you can get it done that's normal but there's a category of life where there's a lot of magic waiting for everyone who's listening to this and especially those on the screen Shalom and the uh the there's a lot of uh there's an actual secret about this world which is commitment comes before Logistics like you make the commitment and and what happens is something special happens where where God um I don't know it's like a light goes off a bell rings in heaven when someone commits to something that they can't really explain how they're going to pull it off but they're all in I mean all in like nak and by the way the theme of tonight of doing the nakun who what is nakun just for those who don't know it's the um when when the sea you know the Jews had the Egyptians on one side they had the Sea on the other and they're like commit to things that I can't necessarily commit to um but go all in and I find my myself in all kinds of interesting situations and so I'm going to share with you deeper about it but I meaning good situations I find myself in a lot of predicaments because I overcommitted but it always seems to work out and I'd like to share with you the secret of how to how to live in that level of what's called LSD LSD and LSD you're all looking at me a little funny right now but LSD stands for large siata desaya which means large which means that that God when he sees you're all in and there's and you burned your Bridges back when he sees you're all in a little bell goes off in heaven Ding and God says oh someone's working on that frequency okay that frequency is going to have Divine assistance don't tell me the odds it's going to work and an example of that is actually us being here right now as I've known AR Poston of Yer for what seems like forever longer than I've been longer than half my life and and we've known each other forever and you're one of these guys that just says don't tell me the odds you know he just has ideas and goes all in and and we're all like literally inside a 3D LSD experience meaning 3D largea situation that we inside this beautiful place that's just the next thing he dreamed up and uh and and thank God you know another place for Jews to congregate and feel safe and at home and we a place of where Torah and and love can be shared and kindness so so it's all you know this secret and we all know people like this and most of us hit glass ceilings because of this too by the way glass ceilings are there for other reasons as well meaning fear when we have fears fear of rejection fear of failure fear of the of being uh you know out of control fear of the unknown fear of pain and suffering that's the glass ceiling for everybody but another glass ceiling is that that many of us are way to what's the word what's the word we I mean you you you've been calling it responsible what chicken cautious cautious there's a better word for you know we're meaning we're putting Logistics ahead of commitment practical practical thank you but we're calling it practical but in fact life is less exciting because the people who go all in those people have exciting lives and some of us sometimes wonder if our life's so exciting really and the way you get there's many ways to get your life to be exciting as an extreme sports Enthusiast uh there's many ways to get your life exciting but one of the great ways of getting your life exciting is start committing to stuff just go all in on things and watch the watch the action after a while it start you start getting kind of used to it that if I go all in it just keeps moving in the right direction and so let me tell you a couple crazy stories of going Allin you want some Allin stories okay let's do the yeah let's do a little couple stories of do KN first of all we got to go all the way back to the Spanish uh the Spanish colonization of South America the uh the ships I'm sure they were similar to the Mayflower the these four ships landed uh on the South American continent and and they uh when they got to the they sent out spies to the land to go trps around there to figure out what's the war situation and and uh then all the men got off their ships they got to the with little boats to the land and now there's like a massive massive like four ship Army of of men and um and then the the spies came back and told the you know the the lead leader of the entire the entire uh uh what do you call it Expedition Expedition War whatever it is colonization but they he they come to him they say uh Captain what do you call the head he's not a captain he's a Admiral Admiral boy I'm blowing the story man anyway they said to him uh sir we're going to die and he's like what he's like they've been waiting for us we're going to die like they they we're surrounded by 10 times this amount of people and they're just waiting for us to just like go to sleep tonight and we're dead and the and the this you know captain of this whole uh Expedition you know heard the details and realized yeah they' miscalculated and they're going to die and so what did he do he sent out one of the guys on one of the little boats and he said I want you to light torches and I want you to burn all four ships go out to the four boats do docked you know a quarter mile off in this ocean and set them on fire and so all the men are standing there watching the four boats like their only way back to their wives and kids and their homes and their lives are just burning and he said to him that listen you're either going to win and live and then we'll rebuild boats and we'll go back or you're going to you're going to die here because we're surrounded and you have to know psychologically that there's no turning back now it's only forward and and they won and that's how we have today's cigarettes and coffee dear student of mine who had just gotten trained in this in this work I'm telling you about dear student of mine was in Vegas and it says when you get out of the airport in Vegas it says come four hours early or many hours early because cuz it could be that your convention gets out with other conventions and then there will be May him at the airport and you'll likely miss your flight now he had been gone the longest he ever flew away from yam he had been gone for four shamuses but he promised her on the fifth shamas he will be home but that was a real promise and when he gets to the airport he didn't pay attention to any signs and gets the airport and it's total Mayhem like three conventions got out at once everyone's missing their flights including him what was his flight it was the last flight it was the last flight to a no it was a flight to LA to make it to the last LOL direct flight on Thursday back to ER St for shabas and he missed the flight so he could have called his wife and said listen honey I sorry I just missed my flight and I'm sorry I'm not going to make it and instead what he did was he actually opened his smartphone and he's like what am I going to do he goes on Google and he wrote fast jet he needs a fast jet so turns out there was a company called fastjet who was the top of the thing so he clicks on fastjet he says hi I'm in Las Vegas do you have a fast jet in Las Vegas that could get me to LAX and they're like sure no problem and he said uh and they said would you like to know how much that would cost you and he explained which flight he had to catch in La they did the calculation they're like we could probably get you there and he's would you like to know how much he says no and that's another secret is don't don't think Logistics when you're in when you're in the logistics don't matter he said I don't even want to know I I'm just staying focused on my commitment which is shabus at my home in Yus anyway this fastjet has real connections cuz he never even went into the terminal they brought him straight he was processed at the Gate of the at the actual plane he went up the stairs of the baggage claim people you know the baggage claim people the uh you know the people who steal our roller bags so he went up that staircase was processed right there by the LOL security and they actually held the plane a little bit for him and there he was at the chabas table Moy he barely made it for Moy shabas he um looks at his phone to see the $77,000 bill now it was important he didn't look at that before I think and but here's the exciting thing is once you start playing this game your vibration shifts you start developing another kind of vibe people start sensing that you're the kind of guy who when you say you'll do it it gets done because it just keeps happening so once you keep doing this and you go all in you start getting this Vibe and kind of reputation that uh no sooner said than done type of reputation ready for this this is crazy so he did one particular kind of business in a in Jerusalem it just so happened that this the banks of Israel with the government decided to put an end to all the money changers there was just too much money like black money going around so they put an end to the whole thing I don't know if you've noticed that things got a lot more legit than last year is like they're asking for your ID sometimes and you know you know but if you need a number I could give you one anyway anyway but the uh so so the uh so what happened was all the money changers were freaking out cuz they were like they just lost their business there are many very established money changers who had no more business and and didn't know what to do and the and the banks were upset too sorry it wasn't the banks the government did it the banks were also upset because they were part of the whole ring and so the banks all of a sudden were losing cash flow so what happened was there were executive meetings of the top money changers with the banks and what they they were all told come into the meeting and bring names of people uh that you do business with and we're going to see how many names are in common amongst all of us that there could be someone we trust that we can go to the government and say this is going to be the guy who takes care of all the regulatory issues with money changing and guess what my student his name popped up on the most of everyone's list his student had the most his list had the most in common with every changer in Bank like they mean he showed up on let's say 15% of them but 15% of them was the most and so it wasn't even a week after he kept his word to the tune of $7,000 that he gets a phone call saying can you come in for a little meeting at such and such Bank he's like oh man what' I do you know and they uh and he wound up becoming the Kingpin of all money changing in Israel like he suddenly had a new profession um amazing and and you hear these stories over and over again I'll share I'll share one or two more um I'm flying I'm in a helicopter on the Golan Heights and we're way up the top like North Upper Balon you know above the hoola Valley and we're on a dirt Runway looks like maybe prop PLS maybe pull up there and we're flying off to the keset which is about a 45 minute flight on a helicopter if you're move them fast and I had to teach a class at asaa at 100 p.m. and I had 3 hours to get there which is no problem 45 minutes there get to the keset I'm I'm good I can even go home and have lunch before my 1:00 class as the helicopter's taking off there's an Su meaning we like 30 feet up an SUV with a siren on top and and flashing his brights and making making dirt s turns flying on this Runway and the and the uh and the pilot says you know I got to go down there's some kind of emergency this guy's trying to get my attention so puts the thing down and who is it it's a member of Kessa named Effie atam who's uh from engv Kuts right under the Golan Heights and and Effie had an emergency meeting at the knesset and he saw there's a helicopter up there so he quickly with his wife they jumped in the his SUV and drove up to the up the Gan and and uh he said is there an extra seat in the helicopter and so who was in the helicopter it was a three-seater the pilot the billionaire who I was showing around Israel and me who do you think lost their seat the pilot the billionaire or the rabbi next thing I know I'm watching this helicopter like I'm like I'm like my pays are like now my class starts at 1 it's a 4-Hour drive from the top of the Gan and the uh and I don't have a car so it's a simple thing get on the phone call down and say like class cancelled we'll continue the next which I reserve the right to do that however I know that once you say you're in just go for it so anyway Mrs atom said would you like a lift off the Golan Heights I said yeah thank you very much so I'm in her car I'm in her you know whatever it was it Land Cruiser or something we're coming down the hill and I say is there an airport up here somewhere in the hoola Valley she like yeah a little private airport said please take me there so she takes me to the airport and I'm cruising around the airport looking for a um just interviewing Pilots would anyone please take me to atot we have an airport in atot atot and yeah so they told me the first guy said they closed it during the in and I was like I was like what I said what's the closest to Jerusalem he said St do which is in Tel Aviv so I was like okay anyway he didn't take me to stay du but I asked around finally a guy agreed to take me at 800 shekels and so we're like I'm on this little plane and we get to Tel AV I jump out of that plane I race to a taxi and I'm just said like Jerusalem you know Old City Jerusalem and and it was 100 shekels in those days imagine 100 shekels from Tel it's 100 shekel those days I held a 200 and I said this is 200 to get me there on time I have to be walking in the classroom no later than 1 and he this guy floored man I took his number for future use and he doubled the price and I and because he floored I was just walked into the class one 1:00 now how much money did I lose in that story anyone do the math th thousand shekel I lost nothing I gained a th000 shekels and gained a th000 shekels worth of what's the word for someone who keeps their word integrity yeah Integrity or whatever I gained a thousand shekels meaning I what credibility credibility these kinds of things all all big words like that integrity and credibility acceptance love all of them are have big vibration and people sense that vibration people sense it well once you're going around with a lot of credibility you start getting a lot more jobs you know a lot more things start happening for you when you got that level of credibility did you know that Warren Buffett the famous uh wealthy man he uh he has a deal he has a a custom that he will not sign a deal that that has more than two lawyers which if you know big mergers have lots of lawyers and they're like thousand pages of legal he will not do a deal un with any more than two lawyers one for each side and the whole deal has to be able to be written on one side of a piece of paper if you flip the paper he gets up and walks because the deals are made on credibility and credibility is built on keeping one's word and keeping one's word how can you keep your word you know like the God's running the show and the answer is that God runs the show with sataya when he sees that you're you're able to be together and then there's one where you're separate because of uh you know because of the the cycles of a woman's body in in Torah there's a time you're together there's a time your part and I know they're very different times like sometimes you're like best friends and siblings you know and sometimes you're you're deeply romantic and lovers you know there's there's the but there're two very different channels and these channels are happening throughout the marriage but they're not the same they're not the same there's a bonding that's happening during the intimate times that's not the same as the sibling times it's a bonding that's that's um well it's it's really it's uh ineffable if you think about it it's not something that um that could even be articulated and maybe that's why the world's so crazy about that is because it's just this ineffable inarticulable reality that happens between two who become one that is a Vibra again back to vibration it's a vibration that that you know can't even be described while the other times can be described as you know connection you know being connected like siblings like best friends like the other time so here's what I want to share is that um my colleagues in me sharim have uh you know they have a nice everyone has a nice truckload of kids there and and I Remember by the way when I had when I had a hundred of these coming down my back when I got here you know I when I you remember when I got to Israel I I didn't have clothing like I had a tank top with like an airbrush Mushroom on it and I had surf shorts and flip-flops that was my outfit for my first that was my outfit for the whole first week into shabas like that's how I showed up at the cotel for L shabas you know you imagine when I go in there you know with my stral today I'm like sometimes I see the mirror coming out of the bathroom I'm like who the hell are [Laughter] you anyway the the um so I remember though seeing a van drive by with a man and his wife in the passenger seat and it was like one of these big Vans and it was just like literally like going down every row of that thing was kids in the back of that van and and I remember saying to myself that's what I want I want that I want to be that guy driving that van and but what I want to says my so I have I have friends with a lot of kids and and let's say 14 kids I have some with 16 kids I have some with 17 kids like large large families when a woman is pregnant and then nursing there's no separation between the couple after the birth obviously that's a time for separation but then a few weeks later they're back together and then there's no separation meaning if there's ABS what I wanted to say was that if there's absolutely no birth control involved in this couple's life they're always together for all the years and when God said pur Vu that could it be what he meant was that the intimate part of the first 30 years should be full on you know with just breaks for for births and the question is that after 30 years of marriage a couple who live that way like my colleagues in m sharim versus the more modern couples today that that might say you know we want to balance it out cu you know they're not going for the full football team for kids you know you know they want to like live a more normal life because it's not a normal life you know you don't have a life there's you don't have a life like for example I've run seminars called you heard of the possi use seminar I've been running the seminar for 24 years and like 14,000 graduates so I get a lot ofum there so we learned something very important do the marketing in the last hours and this is for a fourn night event in Jerusalem I'm starting one tomorrow night for men it's F in Jerusalem it's five nights straight and anyone who's coming to something for five nights straight needs advanced warning so when I first discovered the kimus clients I put out the advertising like two months there already they're like can I interest you in a Pamela and I'm like I'll take three please and then what do you think of these mangoes throw them in yeah and I just will come out with so much food and and no money at all and the one thing she sent me for was carrots not a carrot inside you know thousand shekels later not one carrot you know so so the um anyway I just want to I just want to mention that point that perhaps that's the level of intimacy that God was actually going for it sounds it's a something I've just never thought about it before but it's an interesting thought that that's actually what God was going for when he said pur he was definitely going for kids should be lots of Jewish children but but perhaps the side thing he was going for was that level of connection maybe my friends in me have married off that's why I'm saying the older ones because the younger ones are still marrying off they've married off like 14 kids every single kid's married every single kid was they bought a house for him they bought a house in there for him all 14 kids now if you go to that guy for shabas let's say you want to go this shabas to that that 70-year-old man and his wife you want to go there for shabas I'm just telling you right now don't forget your taxi money because if you think you're going to go upstairs and quickly borrow you know 40 shekel to bring down to the taxi there's not 40 shekels in there because there com their their money that they had went to the shabas meal you're going to be eating there is no other money and if you ask him well how'd you marry and down the shoes and in Barrow Park and Lakewood and Muny all those guys going there and everyone's giving them a dollar while they doing you know I I I get a stack of dollars this big right when I can't you can't let the kids stay in the house you know it's not like America where you have you know you have 1.2 kid and your point2 kid is like up in his he's 38 years old now in a blue like the baby blue boy boy room that they made for him when he was a kid upstairs and he's like he's got no pigment left in his skin CU he's been on video games smoking cannabis for like 15 years the parents can't even evict him because of rent control when you got 14 kids you need an Exit Plan and because you're all in all in just like the Spanish all in just like my buddy from the money changing all in like me showing up at 100: p.m. at ASA Tor and all in like these sh characters who have these crazy stories how they somehow married off 14 kids and bought them all homes when you're all in the magic happens so I'm going to share with you just the mechanics of it and then I'm going to bre break out my guitar again Mechanics Work like this because I want you guys to start literally tomorrow it's in your calendar the um calendars respect your commitments so when you're thinking like I don't have time to do something you'll see your calendar will fill with other stuff it will always fill but if you can just grab that calendar and pop something in there you'll see that every time something's about to fill it you'll look and you'll there it is and so you don't mess with it and then you get to do what you actually want to do that's for stuff you want to do now works like this there's a big distinction between deciding and committing deciding and committing the word decide has a root side which comes from the word to eliminate pesticide homicide suicide genocide it means to eliminate why because to make a decision to decide is a process of elimination so I've been asked for three I was asked for this week Saturday night by three different people meaning three different organizations to come to and I did a process of elimination and I came here tonight and that was our discussion of which week to do and I had these two other options to do it do it I'll have to put them on another week the a process of elimination is deciding how does it work reasons pros and cons so what happens let's say you have five options pros and cons pros and cons pros and cons pros and cons okay more cons eliminated more cons eliminated more cons eliminated more cons until you finally get to the the one that's got the most Pros Les Le cons you did your decision now here's the issue that people have there's many people who think when they decided they committed the the decide is its own sh for two hours for Min if I go for a two-hour Min when she's attacking am I in decide mode or commit mode decide decide she gave me every reason to disappear but in fact I could maybe be wise up a little and say wait if she's treating me this way could it be that she's feeling a little bit insecure she's looking for a little stability and she's just wondering if I could play that role and well what better way to play to see if he can play the role than attacking him and see what happens and so she attacks and I just stay there in fact I even like square off my shoulders a little bit stand a little taller inner smile great eye contact and she's just you she's still going at it you know like she's still after me but but I you know I'm a surfer she's having a storm Surfers like storms she's you know there's some crazy waves coming at me right now but I've learned to duck dive it's called duck dive stick the nose under and come out the other side and so if I disappear to Sho am I in decide mode with my wife or commit mode decide everyone decide or commit decide and if I can stand there and just be a rock for her when the waves are all over the place if I could just be a rock for her what what mode am I in commit if I can stay on the phone with my father what mode am I in you see until you learn this distinction you'll notice that you're fair weathered you'll notice that reasons got you like a yo-yo you're here there you're everywhere you're like a ping bong Ball moving from side to side or a pinball bouncing around the reasons for this and a reason for that now I got a reason to go over here now I got now I got a reason to calling sick now I got got a reason to explain why I didn't get a job done or now I got a reason for this and a reason for that you know what that's called that's called someone who's reasonable meaning you know how your phone has you can have a ringer you could have vibrate you can enable caller ID you get rid of it you could uh you know a lot of options you can enable a lot of things or disable until you learn this distinction you've Pro you're probably reason enabled in other words what reasonable I am not reasonable I can be reasonable meaning if I tell my wife I'm taking her out for to for flaks and we get to the restaurant we drove Qui ways to the restaurant and it turns out they're remodeling and next door is a nice mil place I don't drive her back home I go to the mil place cuz that's not a commitment that I need to be committed to so I'm very reasonable but when it comes to things that I'm committed to I'm what's called unreasonable now is unreasonable usually a good term or a bad term usually usually it means stubborn it means you're so when I'm asking you all to do to get this clear is to become unreasonable meaning choose the things that you're going to go all in on and then go unreasonable that you don't let reasons stop you I travel a lot I travel like every couple weeks if I could tell you just in a year how many times we're in some crazy situation to make a flight cuz whatever went wrong and the driver is like why aren't you nervous like I the driver's freaking out and I'm relaxed because I've seen it over and over again because wherever I'm flying to I'm committed to being there I'm all in and there are no reasons traffic nothing there will be LSD there will be large and you want to know something once in a while doesn't work but I can tell you every time it didn't work the craziest thing happened where I stayed that was p and even sometimes even U life saving once you're something like like you're you're in it's 25 minutes 10 more minutes to the canyon which is also a beautiful wash and then next thing you know you're in a giant Slot Canyon with ladders climbing all they're built in ladders for the waterfalls and the whole thing's a it's a one hour loop I don't do in one hour i' take my time but if you really only had an hour you climb the ladders they look crazy by the way but once you get up and you realize they're not that crazy I wouldn't want to go down them but going up them is fine and be careful underneath them CU sometimes there's tourists up top that knock off of you know a water bottle or something um anyway but you climb up the ladders you cruise up the Slot Canyon you get to the top and when you're at the top you just there's just nice road takes you right back to your car it's like five minute walk back to your car and it's just such a great outing such a great outing we do it all the time yeah if anyone who who would like to go do it with a friend I'd be happy to have you um bar my car and go do it without me because you'll drop me with my mountain bike at Malay adim and and I will be meeting you at the bottom later so yeah you
