now we're in chapter 10 verse 10 and this is a very interesting piece we go to 10 verse 10 and this beginning of the chapter is dealing with when they assemble and move on and travel through the desert and come back and encamp but towards the end of this piece it discusses the idea when you go to war as well so I'll read parts of it in really we're dealing with verse 10 but I'll read the earlier parts hasem to Mo spoke to Moses saying right make for yourself two silver trumpets right you shall beat them out and you should use it it should be yours for summoning the assembly and cause the the C camps to journey and when they sound a long bless that's the so then the entire assembly will assemble to you where are you at the entrance of the tent of [Music] meeting if they sound the long blast and the princes will assemble to you just the heads of the Israel's thousands when you have the short blasts K so then all the camps rest into the Isel Journey when you blow it a second now nine which we're going to be dealing with number 10 verse 10 but nine starts off by saying when you come to w war in your [Music] land because there's an enemy that's coming to oppress [Music] you so what's going to happen you will sound these short Blass of the trumpets you shall be recalled before Hashem your God and you shall be saved from your foes our verse on the day of your gladness and on your [Music] festiv and on your new moon what are you supposed to do in all these days the day of your gladness and your festivals and your New Moon then you shall sound the trumpets over your Ola offerings and over your sacrifices and your peace offerings and you shall be for a remembrance they shall be for remembrance before you for you before your God I am Hashem your God now that we read the verses this is really most interesting he start the clear car starts off by saying from these verses the rabbis teach then what do we say on R we say three things Kingdom kingship of hem the verses to explain that they're dealing with and concerning R it seems they learn it from what it says in I think verse 9 it [Music] says when you wage war in your land against an enemy that oppresses you again when you come in war there's a approaches you a war in your land by an enemy who's going to oppress you this is yes it's in the land of Israel because it says but we're saying something even deeper there's no real separation between the people of Israel and the land of Israel and this is in Israel so we can interpret this to mean it's inside of you it's inside of Israel [Music] that all the times where we Face oppression and hardships and a besieging what would the rabbis do they would decree a fasting they would blow the chauffer we would call out and cry and pray to hasem and we would say these Concepts Kingdom kingship remembrance and the just like it's brought down in the in which deals with when there are famines and we don't have enough rain we would fast we go out to the courtyards into the city streets into the plazas and we would pray [Music] fast perhaps their proof is coming from these vers versus why cuz it says when War when you go to war when you go to wage war in your land against an enemy who oppresses you and we learn the same laws from here as to there meaning the laws of the oppression that are coming towards us we have to mention these things so too that's a physical War so too on rash because we're also blowing the anytime you have the blowing of the we make these order but I want to say perhaps when he says then when when there's a waging of a war that's coming to you and we're having this oppression that's coming towards us that it's much deeper on a spiritual level and it's not just physical but we're talking about and you'll forgive me for the word but we'll say a spiritual jihad a real battle that's going on within the Jew within the person and how do we know it says a war in your land meaning in your land the [Music] base yes we hear from this that we're talking about an oppression that's happening where within the land this is also talking about designated why are we blowing the show for on Russ don't forget the big picture talking about internally whereas externally is talking about maybe any other type of War furthermore Mal why do I even need to know that there's an internal oppressor or an external oppressor and an internal oppressor what do I need to know that there such a thing as an internal oppressor the so according to this it's it it's rest very well it's hinted at extremely nicely Within These verses that we are dealing with the Seda of Russia sh because that's the day that we are having this ultimate m a king you know crowning Hashem as king and dealing with with the ultimate I'm going to say Y battle with the Y because when we put Hashem over us we're really getting rid of our ego ego we're really trying very hard to Humble ourselves and be in a position where we can accept all of the Mitzvah of
