moses found it difficult he wasn't clear on the the precise picture meaning of what he was trying to explain about the renewal so he showed him so what does it mean he showed him he showed him with his finger the moon in the sky so we have a big problem it's very interesting how rashi resolved this because rashi tells us right away god never spoke to moses at night and when does the moon appear it appears at night so how could he have shown him so he brings three verses to show you that god only spoke to moses during the day i'll just mention them you can look them up at your own um uh time
