if you look around the community today who are the leading rabbis in our schools today sh our graduates who are the leading rabbis in our schools today sh our graduates who are the leaders of our community organizations shout out to our graduates look at the graduates look at them at age 20 and look at them at age 30 and look at them at age 40 the students are the ones that are carrying the banner for the school so much of what I learned in sh T I carry with me on a daily basis it impacts consciously and absolutely unconsciously in how I teach and how I give over as a r i Inspire my students that they should continue with that M that I learned from my rabbis and spread it to teach to teach people to be better and have we went into the field of running a museum went into the field of running the Safar food fund giving back to the community as all with the nurture that Raba had given us and how to live our lives for for the better of everybody else in the community thank godat enabled me to be involved in different projects in the community we help people with jobs we help special children we work with the police it's the common denominator as they say the comary I think is sh it taught us what it means to do how to help other people how to care for other people in order to do such an intricate project that M Abraham became the and and the whole series you have to be connected to it the only thing that enabled me to undertake this was the fact that we had a connection to T these things came through from RAB haber's focus and embellishment on teil I've been very fortunate to serve as the president of Lawrence Avenue sh in Deal oh yob for many years I also serve on the board of sbh whether it's understanding how to act as a peacemaker whether it's being strategic and helping as a volunteer for people's needs thinking in a s mind thinking at a mind those are the lessons that we learned in sh one day I got a phone call from rabber starting a night program once I started getting into the learning before I knew it it was a half a day and then it ended up being a full day I ended up moving to Lakewood we started the sh over here in the K I teach in is David my experience in sh Tora observing my rabbis impacts how I teach today in high school I'm teaching outlines to the kids we try to give a love for how methodical the G is that's what Raba gave over to us and I'm constantly giving that over my experience in shat was such a comfortable one you have people from all different backgrounds and it just Blends together the sh that I'm a rabbi in is sort of along the same lines what RAB taught us is sharing Tor with many others and building up other people people that they can spread their wings many of my classmates and I will be going to Ed to study and some of Israel's finest yiv but make no mistake about it we're coming back back to live here back to learn here back to raise families here and back be active members in our great Community there's no words that could express I have did something for our community and did something for personally for myself without it I wouldn't be where I am today sh gave us the confidence and the feeling that we could always accomplish [Music]
