one thank you to uh I want to tell you
that I was on my way to Israel
today and I was supposed to be in Israel
already
yesterday uh I Happ I was here in
Chicago in the United States and when
the snowstorms hit I uh we have
distribution centers in Jerusalem and
different parts of the country the
fellowship uh or the kly dut as we're
called in Israel has become the largest
philanthropy in Israel and in the former
Soviet Union I might add and
umal teach that
uh if you're fortunate the work is done
by
others I want you to know that the soup
kitchens that K
kabad
sponsors the restaurants as they call
them the incredible work that we just
saw on the
screen happens every day day and night
whenever it's needed in emergency times
when elderly can't get out and in
regular times when they can get
out and so I made a
decision that I would not go to Israel
till tomorrow in order to be here here
and to show my support and importance of
K
kabad and I want to say thank you this
year I want to say
toara as I get
older my heroes
change when I was younger and I say this

the young leaders and the Future Leaders
of the Jewish commun when I was younger
I used to admire successful
people when I got a little older I used
to admire wealthy people I used to
admire smart
people I used to
admire people who really were successful
in life and whatever it is that they
did I used to admire happy
people and as I got older I came to
admire
people who are
kind I want to take this opportunity on
your behalf certainly on
mine to say toara thank you for giving
us the
opportunity the privilege to be part of
kabad each and every one of us giving us
a credible
trustworthy
vehicle to help the poor to help the
less
