Behind this book is basically
>> [music]
>> my parents recently passed away and I
realized what is the legacy that a
parent leaves over
>> [music]
>> to their child. It's the Simcha being a
Jew and Shabbos they say is the Makara
Bracha. It's the blessing of everything.
This is Judaism [music] to be the Simcha
and once we connect to that, once we
connect to the Zemiros and we connect to
singing on Shabbos, [music] so many
different stories in the book. I say in
the beginning an introduction of how all
we want for our children [music] is to
be happy, to be happy Jews. And the way
we can do that is knowing a little bit
behind of what [music] we sing and how
we live. That was really the impetus,
the the inspiration to this book. The
Radak says by the way that is the Avoda
of Shabbos, the whole point of the
Shabbos [music] meals is to sing songs.
And if we don't do that, and we don't
connect to it, then [music] we're not
just lacking the blessing that there is
in Shabbos. In this book I tried to have
an all-encompassing [music] book, not
just a Zemiros book, not just a
compilation of songs which there is in
here. There's Pizmonim, there is the
main [music] Shabbos songs, but also
behind what are we saying, what are we
doing, what are we saying? Korban Olah
V'Eil Mayim, why do we do that Friday
[music] night? What's the story behind
the blessing of Shabbos? So many
different it's an all-encompassing book.
>> What a celebration
for the sole blessing and I going
through the journey of writing the safer
and now seeing it actually being
printed.
Can't wait for people to elevate the
Shabbos table with this beautiful book.
Thank you Hashem for this beautiful
moment.
