Yanky Lemmer Sings an Old Yiddish Song for Yom Kippur - Reb Nachman Rosen is on Accordion
Odom Yesodo Meofor, one of the core High Holiday Prayers of the Jewish Liturgy. This song reminds us how finite our lives are in this world. With Yiddish lyrics added to the Liturgical text, the song tells us not to focus on materialism and vanity for man who's creation is from dust, will ultimately return to dust. Below are the Yiddish lyrics: This song was written by Solomon Gozinsky and first recorded by Canto David Roitman. Nachman Rosen is a veteran accordion virtuoso. He specializes in Klezmer, Yiddish Folk and many other forms of Jewish music. He can be contacted at [email protected].
