Yaakov Lemmer - Av Harachamim | יעקב למר - אב הרחמים

it gives me great pleasure to welcome hazen yaakov lemmer of the lincoln square synagogue it's very special to have yaakov lemmer with us and he will sing also avarachmim but in words that go a little differently these are the words that we say on shabbat when we bring out the torah who is god who should take who should have give comfort and solace to his people very very powerful words especially poignant for this afternoon and this evening accompanying him today will be maestro russell garan cantor eric freeman and i would be remiss if i did not recognize orphier sobel who has written arranged and allowed us to use this piece today and as i said in hebrew i must say also in english of fear's father dr murkhovel did so much for the world of hazanut we miss him terribly and i doubt that these sort of events would ever come to light without his great contribution to the world of hazard so this piece is dedicated to the 45 who were killed last week but also to the memory of the wonderful irreplaceable dr mordechai sobel [Music] oh [Music] oh [Music] m [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] with [Music] um [Music] me [Music] is [Music] [Applause] [Music] me [Applause] oh uh [Music] choice [Music] me [Applause] [Music] we [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] me [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] me [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] no [Applause] oh [Music] foreign [Music] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] you know [Music] [Applause] [Music] me
