You want to know which grape we are not
drinking enough of?
[music]
Sira or you might also know it [music]
as Shiraz. Originally from southern
France's Ron Valley, Sira is now planted
all over the world. It's generally
divided into two types of siras. cool
climate which is tanic and savory. In
our world for the most part if you don't
drink French siras we get more of the
warm climate siras which is fruity and
jammy. The most common trade of sira is
blueberries
and pepperc corn. And then as it gets
more complex you get smoked meat, milk
chocolate. It's really a fascinating
grape and we're not drinking enough of
it. When did I get excited about Sira H?
Two times that I remember. One time I
drank a very old Kiron from Rome which
was based Sira. And one time I was in
Israel with Yasishar. So shout out to
Yasar from 1848. He made a couple of
years ago a fascinating Sira and he's
continuing to do so every vintage. And
it blew my mind. And I was like, why am
I not drinking enough Shira? So, I'm
speaking to myself. So, I urge you to go
grab a bottle of Benamina Shiraz or any
other Shiraz that you think you will
like or you know the brand. Why? Because
wine is not just to get drunk and get
high. It's art and you want to learn
what else is in there. So, that's why we
do this. Because remember, the more we
taste
No more winner.
