Why Vote for Inna Vernikov

So, the great thing about running against someone who was already in office is that everyone has a track record. And my opponent, when he was a Democrat and when he was a Republican, voted for things that this community would be appalled by if they reviewed that record. He voted to support illegal immigration. He voted to close Rikers. He voted down the line with the most progressive Democrats. He was a yes man when he was a Democrat and when he switched to Republican all of a sudden his voting record changed. This is someone who was a lifelong Democrat who refused to join what's called the common sense caucus. The common sense caucus is comprised of both Republicans and moderate Democrats. This is someone who refused to stand next to Republicans, refused to vote with Republicans. In fact, refused to sit with Republicans in the same room. And as soon as he became Republican, all of that changed. The biggest difference between myself and my opponent is that while I was delivering for this community, he was busy doing photo ops. I am humbly asking all my friends in this Syrian community to come out in this primary election and vote for me. I have built a track record of voting for the right bills, pushing back against the radical left, fighting the migrant shelters and homeless shelters that they want to come and build in our district in residential neighborhoods, standing up for the police, pushing back against the soft on crime DAS. And I will always continue standing up for you. [Music]
