And I think another thing from this also
too, and I'm going to just say it out
straight, and some people aren't going
to like that I'm saying this, and when I
draw to this conclusion that I don't
understand why you don't like it, but
I'm going to say it
anyway. It's time for the Yidden to come
home. It's time for Jews to wake up and
to move back to Israel. It just is what
it
is. When you live in a place like
America where many of us never thought
something like this was possible, never
thought something like this would happen
that and I'm not talking about this
isolated incident. We're talking about
the rise of anti-semitism that's
happening in the United States. Once you
see this, when do we start saying that
we recognize the writing is on the wall?
When do we start to say that maybe it's
time to go back home? I just want to
know what that time is because I've
heard a lot of people over the years
tell me, "Oh, when the Messiah comes,
when Messiah comes, then we'll then
we'll
go." May not get to wait that long. God
forbid. I hope that Hashem spares and
keeps everybody, but under the current
circumstances, there's no signs of this
slowing
down. There's only signs of it getting
worse.
And I honestly think that if you have
not been considering it, if you have not
been thinking about it, it's time for
you to start thinking about packing up
your bags and moving back to
Eriso and building up the holy land,
being here in this land which God
promised to his people, to his
children, to our holy fathers, Abraham,
Isaac, and
Jacob. I don't know honestly. I mean,
when you look at the prophets, even I
don't know what the future is for all
these other nations. We don't really
know who all these other nations are. We
don't know who Gog is. We don't know
who's uh, you know, who's coming from,
you know, Tarsish. And we don't know who
all these other nations are. So, we
can't really say that we know for sure.
There may be clues, there may be signs,
there may be hints. But there's one
thing that we do know and that the
prophets did
reveal is that this land for sure has a
future. And there's been no shortage of
Hashem showing us over and over again
that this land will thrive and this land
will have a future.
So, I think
it's safe to say that it's probably the
perfect time for you to be thinking
about aliyah and making your way back
home. And these things are just things
to push us in that
direction. It's already a problem. And
I'm being honest with you. If we don't
already feel, if we don't already have a
desire to be in the Holy Land, to be
here in
Israel, there's a major disconnect. I
think one of the disconnects that we
have is because a lot of especially even
in religious circles, probably in
religious circles even more
so, very
very scarcely and very
very sporadically but not really a part
of the learning schedule for sure. Very
rarely do we learn Tanakh? Do we learn
the prophets? Do we learn Nav'i? Torah
itself, the five books of Moses, the
first five books. Yes. Complete that
every year. Every Jew uh religious
community. If you're not finishing it
yourself, you're relig you're you're
you're finishing it in the synagogue or
in the sh every week. So there's
connection. But guess
what? That took place outside the land
of Israel. and all the stories that
happen inside the Kish as holy and as
divine and as awesome as it is because
it is the highest of all the books
according to our our
religion. However, it takes place
outside the land of
Israel. So when it comes to the books
that have to deal with being inside of
the land of
Israel, specifically the
prophets, it's not a major part of our
curriculum, not a major part of our
reading. And so what I think this has
done over the
years, over the millenniums, it has
definitely weakened our love and our
desire and our appreciation for the land
of
Israel. And even though we pray for it
several times throughout the day, not
only three times throughout the day do
we remember. There's two things that we
for sure remember is leaving Egypt, the
Exodus from
Egypt. And the other thing is the fact
that we want God to return his holy
presence to his holy mountain in
Jerusalem. So with all of this, we pray
about it a
lot, but it doesn't sink in. A lot of
times it doesn't sink in. Wait, I want
to ask you, do you ever feel like you're
alone? Maybe you live in a community.
Maybe you live outside the community.
And maybe you're going through things
that it's very hard for you to discuss
with the people that are within your
community. I mean, we all struggle from
time to time with faith, with our with
our belief in God, with our struggle and
our walk and ups and downs, anxiety,
depression, mental health, whatever it
is. We all have struggles sometimes, and
we need somebody to talk to. So, today
is probably going to be your lucky day.
