WHY SAY A SIMPLE STORY TWICE?? WHAT G D WANTS.

it's the late partial show the show would you usually get to late and in which I mind my own business while talking about the current Torah portion that's what partial means by the way Torah portion Blake partial show even sounds the same parsha portion okay my cameras running on the battery over here so we're gonna have to do this quickly so first of all this week's Torah portion is called hiace era which means the life of Sarah our four mother the portion opens up with her passing and Abraham's purchase of a burial ground in which she buries her Abraham then sends his servant Eliezer to go seek a wife for Isaac his son from among his relatives and most of the Torah portion is dedicated to narrating eleazar's journey interestingly the Torah actually records the story twice once as it actually happens in unfolds and a second time after Eliezer meet Rebecca the girl who would marry Isaac and tells the story of his journey to her family now how come the story of eleazar's journey is repeated twice in the Torah 11th century commentator Rashi answers that question by quoting a sage from the Talmud I won't quote him but the point is that apparently the regular conversation of the servants of our forefathers is more beloved to God than the laws that we'd expound from the Torah you know right the regular conversation of the servants of our forefathers is more beloved to God than the laws that we would expelled from the terror and the proof is in the pudding pudding the story of eleazar's journey is repeated twice while many many mitzvahs and fundamental laws of the Torah are hidden with different hints and allusions and allusions mean the same thing don't they now come to think of it what's up with that why are so many of the torah's law is only hinted to so cryptically why don't God just say I'm straight up well the mitzvahs are God's will and that's understandably a very high concept God wants something the source of the mitzvahs are so sublime our is I'm not sure which one to say the mitzvahs are so sublime that doesn't contain them in regular words hints and illusions again those two mean the same thing will have to suffice much like how any very deep concept is extremely hard to relate in normal words which by the way is why I'm extremely thankful to God for giving me the ability to sing ooh someone faxed in a question aka I love the way I wrote this down and I don't want to mess up on even one word so I'm gonna read it straight off the paper okay but if the mitzvahs are so sublime and are therefore contained in hints then how come God loves the regular non super cryptic straight-up and simple story words of Abraham's servant Eliezer the reason ladies and gentlemen is because God wants to be in our world or I should say our world the story of Eliezer is an easy read it's Torah that will slide into our materialistic brains with ease it's simple it's understandable and it's not cryptic except that we learn all of this from the story and the ultimate delight for God is when we learned the really cheap and most profound concepts of the Torah what God loves most is when we learned the deepest most profound parts of the Torah and make them super accessible and understandable to ourselves and to everyone may the secrets of Torah we don't yet know be revealed immediately with Messiah now it's on Shabbos sound we gotta go welcome to the lane or judge show
