sometimes somebody asks someone for something and they don't want to promise hear them say the words glean ederoar bleah nadir bleah in Hebrew means without an EDD there in Hebrew is a vow and when we make a promise we want to make it clear that we are not making what's called a vow what is a vow that sorry explains when somebody wants to they can promise something in such a way that breaking that promise will not just be a broken promise but a violation of the Torah that the person is saying if I break this promise I will bring an offering to the temple and it will be considered a very serious sin that I did therefore whenever we make a promise we say the words bleed neder to indicate while I am making a promise I don't want to make this special thing called the vow interesting to note there is a separate Jewish law that one must keep your promise so even if one says lean enter they still have to keep their promise [Music]
