There is a story told about a very famous person, named Mr. Bradley. This Mr. Bradley, a famous politician, played sports, very wealthy, very powerful. At one time, Mr. Bradley attended a very high function event, in a very upper scale restaurant. As an entrée, they served warm bread, they poured each and every guest a cup of wine, and one waiter was going around and giving everyone a scoop of butter. Now, this Mr. Bradley happened to love butter. As the butter was coming around, he said, Please give me another scoop. But the waiter said, I'm sorry, Mister, but the policy here is one scoop per customer. Now, this Mr. Bradley wasn't used to being told no, and he started screaming, Do you know who I am? Do you know how famous I am? Do you know how much money I have? Do you know how strong and powerful I am? How dare you tell me no? The waiter looks at him and says, I hear you, but do you know who I am? Mr. Bradley looks at him and admits, No, who are you? He responded, I... am in charge of the butter. Teire Yidden, the Yetzer Hara can be powerful, strong and big. And sometimes we feel against a Nisayon like a small waiter against such a powerful Yetzer Hara. But you should know the Ribono shel Olam never gives a Nisayon that we don't have the Ko’ach to challenge that, and to fight against that Nisayon. It might be hard, it might be big, it might be powerful, but never forget, you are in charge of the butter.
