The bill needs 60 Senate votes to pass. Republicans don't have that. Senate Majority Leader John Thun admits they likely can't overcome a filibuster, but says the vote puts every Democrat on the record. Starting April 2nd, visitors from 12 additional um countries will need to pay a US visa bond. This cost is between5 and $15,000 to move to prevent visa overstays. But the good news, the money is fully refundable if you follow the rules about $15,000. We are now 1 month into the government shutdown and American airports are reaching a breaking point.
