Good morning. Today is Wednesday
on edge. My name is Gish and I'm your
host on edge. Well, we're 3 and 1/2
weeks into the war, Operation Epic Fury
with Iran, and the United States and
Israel are officially claiming vic
victory, but they still have a lot of
work to do, obviously, and a lot of
people and organizations and companies
are suffering as a result of the war, as
you can imagine, the strain and the
worry. But we have to always remember
that Hashem is watching. Hashem is
watching over us. And we have to hope
and dav and pray for the safety of our
brothers and sisters in Israel and
everywhere around the world who are
suffering as a result having to have to
run into shelters every second of the
day. Yeshiva world news. Yes,
they have been hacked officially today.
Their website has been hacked by the
Iranian IRGC. They hacked their website
writing on it, we are in control, you
dirty Zionists, they wrote. I think
suppose that they already gained back
control regained back control over their
websites but it's not easy because these
hackers are working very hard to cause
people you know anxiety and pain for no
good reason may Hashem help that you
know they should have a mula mish like
that since the war started on Shabas
they systematically took apart Iran's
entire security hierarchy on the list of
deadies there's alo some alive I mean
there's only four of them on that
picture on the picture that I uploaded
alive. I wonder where Abasaraki and his
friend Masud Peshkin are. Wonder why.
Anyway, it started all by cutting off
the head of the Ayatollah himself, the
head of the snake, Supreme Leader
Ayatollah Ali Kai, who was killed along
with 40 of his top advisers. Now, don't
forget from there, the list of the dead
has only grown. The head of the IRGC,
Hussein is Salami, is also dead. The
armed forces chief of staff, Muhammad
Bageri, is also dead. The command of the
cuts force Ismael Khani Yakimo is also
dead. They also killed the defense
minister and it and his replacement.
They have eliminated the head of Iran's
nuclear weapons research team and also
top intelligence chiefs, missile
commanders and the men who control the
money of course and as well many of
their scientists. Ali Lari Jani who was
killed yesterday the head of Iran
Supreme National Security Council and
one of the closest advisers to the late
Supreme Leader Ali Kamay was killed in
an Israeli air strike on a safe house in
Thran yesterday. His son and and his
bodyguards died alongside him. Now
Iranian Iranian state television called
him a martr. Iran's foreign minister
Abasaraki had an interview on Al Jazzer
and insisted the government remains
intact saying he says the presence of or
absence of any single individual does
not affect the structure. The problem is
that the claim is hard to stand by when
the majority of the country's senior
leadership is dead. On that same day,
Israel killed Goya Sulamani, the
commander of the Basie, Iran's internal
parliamentary force. He was killed along
with several of his top lieutenants. Now
overnight, Israel also struck and killed
another high-ranking Iranian
intelligence official which was only
confirmed brief like a few hours ago.
The minister of intelligence of Iran and
his name is the deadi is known as Ismael
Kib. That's his name. Anyway,
and with that now we can go into pes
feeling you know like you feel
and with that you have to buy Montreal
matzah. There's nothing like Montreal
matzah. The best and most healthiest
matzah available. 718-6193661.
You can go on to Montreal matzah.com and
you go, if you're in Brooklyn, you can
stop by in our pop-up shop, 4320 14th
Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. Or you can
go to the Montreal Matza Bakery in
Montreal, taste their mats. It's
delicious. They have a line of spelt,
delicious spelled mats. They have
regular mats, whole wheat and extra thin
mats, and of course, oat matas. Go check
it out. Iran's army chief threatened a
decisive and regrettable retaliation in
his words. Well, I guess he still left.
Iran responded overnight with a massive
missile barrage at Israel. Four people
were killed in Ramadan. A missile struck
a home directly killing an elderly
couple. Their neighbors said his family
had barely reached the safe room when it
hit roughly 30 seconds after the siren.
So sad. Iran also used cluster missiles
in the attack. Unbelievable. weapons
designed to break apart in midair and
scatter smaller explosives across wider
areas. Some released chemicals on
impact, they say, though reports are not
confirmed. Israeli first responders are
trying to clean up the mess. It's a big
mess. There were unexloded submunitions
and scattered across roads, rubble, and
open fields. But you know what? We're
seeing open miracles as well because
most of those cluster bombs landed in
the middle of the road, not on actual
homes. Some of them did reach home
sadly. Shrapnel reached Jerusalem with
fragments landing inside the altitude
inside old city. The Tel Aviv um
Salvador center train station took a
direct hit. They say so far 3,500 people
3,500 people have been evacuated from
their homes since the latest fighting
began with nearly 11,000 damage claims
filed close to half of Tel Aiv half from
Tel Aviv area. Let's take a look at the
massive wave of assassinations at the
top of the Iranian government. You will
see a new kind of chaos unfolding on the
ground. So, like we said, the United
States and Israel have wiped out the
central leadership of the IRGC, Yamak
Sham, and the regime. Reports are going
around that Iranian President Masud
Peskin is looking for a way out. Sources
say he may be trying to flee the country
through that has not well though that
has not been officially confirmed.
Anyways, the men who ran the machine,
the Iranian machine are kind of dead
now. Well, control of the military and
the blockade at the straight of Hormuz
has fallen to the local commanders.
Listen to this. Instead of a coordinated
backup plan, these local leaders are
disconnected and confused. They are left
holding old paper orders without any
guidance. There is no well, there is no
central command left to to tell them
what to do next. There's no way for for
for the separate units to communicate or
regroup even amid this chaos. Experts
say that breakdown is causing
unpredictable behavior among lower level
fighters. With top commanders gone and
the military struggling, analysts say
the chaos could push ordinary people to
rise up against the Islamic Republic.
Isra Israel is sending a direct warning
to the families of Iranian regime
leaders who are still alive. Reports say
officials have been contacting the
surviving members of the regime
directly, telling them, "If the Iranian
people rise up, stay out of the way. Do
not try to stop the protests and do not
fight back against the citizens. If you
keep your head down, you might survive.
If you interfere, you will be the next
target," they say.
Anyway, a headless regime loses its
grip. In other words, let's talk about
losing your grip. When you wear a Striml
that looks like a cluster bomb, you're
kind of losing your grip. So, you need
to call now. 7325231559
before it's too late. I mean Pesak is
around the corner tonight. Call him now.
and get your picked up and delivered
from all areas and tries to the area and
made like they press it, they glaze it,
they fire a bit in Yiddish Yiddish words
and they mus
if you understand Yiddish then you have
a Shrimal. If you don't understand
Yiddish, you probably also don't have a
Shrimal. I'm kidding. What did I say? I
said if you have a Shrimal, you
understand Yiddish. Not really.
Actually, doesn't No, it's not true
because Nissan Black also has a
strangle. Does he speak Yiddish? Not
yet. The IRGC and Tehran banned public
gatherings for the holiday and came out
with machine guns to threaten the
gathering crowds. Listen to this. But
Netanyahu told the Iranian people,
"Israel's Israeli planes are hitting the
terrorists on the ground right now, so
go out and celebrate anyway." In other
words, BB says he's bringing the
fireworks. You can go celebrate and
we're bringing the fireworks. and they
know anyone who takes to takes it to the
streets um faces real danger from the
regime. Reports say some are doing it
anyway. Iranian security forces have
been spotted literally taking off the
military uniforms and changing it into
plain clothes in the middle of the
street. They are trying to blend in with
the civilians to avoid being detected
and targeted by the IDF. With Israeli
drones and jets constantly watching from
above and picking off terror operatives,
wearing the regime's uniform has become
a death sentence. They know they are
being hunted and they are trying to
hide. Overnight, the United States
dropped multiple bunker buster bombs on
the Iranian missile sites along the
straight of Hormuz. These are massive
deep penetrating weapons. If you don't
know yet what bunker busting bombs are,
each one weighs around 2 and 1/2 ton
built to punch through reinforced
underground structures before exploding
inside. The targets were Iranian missile
sites that the US military says posed a
direct threat to ships passing through
the strait. US Central Command confirmed
the operations were successful. Iran
responded. Two drones struck the United
States embassy in Baghdad, hitting the
compound twice and also striking the
surrounding green zone, the heavily
fortified area in central Baghdad where
foreign embassies and government
buildings are located there. Fires broke
out near the embassy following the
attacks. The drones were launched by
groups aligned with Iran. No casualties
at the embassy have been confirmed.
Another report just came in. As we speak
right now, UAE Dubai has been very hit
very hard recently. The airspace over
Dubai right now is actually closed due
to the dangers. An Iranian projectile
also struck Australia's military
headquarters in the Middle East. No
casualties or exact locations have been
confirmed yet. Iran struck a base in the
region where Canadian soldiers were
stationed. The government has not
confirmed how many Canadians were at the
base, whether anyone was hurt, or what
damage was caused. In response to the
broadest threat of sorry, in in response
to the broader threat of the Iranian
retaliation, Secretary of State Marco
Rubio ordered every US embassy around
the world to immediately review its
security. All American diplomats dipl
diplomatic posts are now on high alert.
People are asking who exactly is helping
Iran right now besides Russia? What
about China? What about North Korea?
Well, the short answer is they are all
staying out of the fighting. China
announced it is sending emergency
humanitarian aid to Iran, but Beijing is
not sending weapons or troops. So far,
North Korea has been putting out angry
statements defending Iran, but that is
it. Researchers have even caught
pro-Iranian accounts online, like we
said yesterday, Tik Tok accounts, fake
videos of fake quotes from Chinese and
North Korean leaders pretending those
countries are threatening to attack to
attack Israel. Those threats are
completely made up. But the real
surprise right now is Azar Baan. Now
Azarbaijan and Iran have a long history
of tension. But the war raging the with
the war raging that rivalry has been put
on pause. Aabahan set 8 sent 82 tons of
human humanitarian aid directly into
Iran recently. The shipments include
food, medicine and gifts for the Persian
new year right now. The it crossed the
border in five large trucks. This is
actually the second time Azaban has sent
help since the war began on Shabaz. The
region is shifting and for now old
rivalries are taking a back seat.
Israel is fighting on a second front my
friends. In Lebanon the air force
carried out multiple strikes on Beirut
Tuesday yesterday. That includes three
targeted assassination attempts in the
Zak Albeit in the Fatala neighborhoods.
A fourth strike hit the southern suburb
of Dakya. A 15-story building in the
Bashawa neighborhood. Bashura
neighborhood struck uh was also struck
by a bomb by an air by an air force
strike and it collapsed entirely after
the bomb hit the its foundations. The
Lebanese Ministry of Health reports that
six terrorists were killed and 24 others
were wounded in this attack. As some of
us are getting hit with high prices at
the pump in Lebanon is getting hit kind
hard at the pump only in a very
different way. Let's uh put to put it
mildly. The IDF struck several gas
stations in the southern uh Lebanon
today. These were not regular gas
stations. They belong to the Al Amana
company. That is a chain owned and run
directly by Kisbala. The military says
that the terror group uses these
stations to make millions of dollars.
They take money from ordinary Lebanese
citizens who are just filling up their
cars with gas and they use it to fund
their terrorist organizations, their
terrorist operations. Destroying these
stations is part of a wider effort to
cut off the money that keeps the terror
group running. The ground offensive
continues to expand Israel's fighting
all the Iranian proxy terror groups at
once in all from all sides. The IDF
eliminated Yakya Abu Labda. His name is
Yam. He was a senior Kamas uh weapons
commander. He personally moved dozens of
tons of raw materials used to build
rockets. He also brought in in advanced
electronic parts for precision missiles.
Some of that exact equipment these exa
that sorry some of that exact equipment
was used in the October 7th massacre.
Kizbala fired dozens of rockets into
northern Israel last night. It was a
heavy heavy night my friends but the IDF
stopped more than half of the attack
before it even started. The terror group
planned to fire over a 100 rockets that
well they only managed to launch about
40 along with a few missiles and five
drones. Most of the rockets were shot
down fell in empty fields Nissim or
landed inside Lebanon. All five drones
were intercepted. Mamish offen open
miracles. One rocket hit a home directly
in the city of Carmiel Basham. The three
residents survived because they were in
their safe room. Missiles were also
intercepted over northern Israel during
a wedding ceremony. Guests watched the
Iron Dome shoot down rockets live in the
sky right over the Koopa. Three private
jets at Bengorian airport were also
damaged today. Hit by falling debris
from an Iranian ballistic missile that
was intercepted overhead. The Israeli
air force struck the terror squads and
their command centers before and during
the attack. Several launchers were
destroyed before they could even be
used. At least 10 more were hit right
after they were fired.
The army estimates that terrorists are
now firing about 150 rockets a day.
Right now about 2/3 of those aimed at
the IDF troops fighting in southern
Lebanon. well um were intercepted and
the rest are aimed at Israel were also
some of them intercepted. The terror
group still has thousands of short-range
rockets and hundreds of longer range
missiles, but most of their weapons have
been pushed deeper into Lebanon north of
the Leani River, which was also bombed
just now. Because of this, their
short-range rockets can mostly only
reach um um border areas and the Galil.
The terrorists have also spread out
their launchers and they are using
smaller ones. This makes them harder to
for Israel to find, but it also means
they cannot fire as many rockets at
once. The IDF also reports that fewer
than 1,000 Rawan force fighters are
still south of the Lutani River. At
least 200 have been killed. The rest are
hiding in small groups and retreating
under heavy pressure. And like we said
just now, the Israeli just the Israeli
army just put out um satellite pictures
of them attacking around the Latani
River.
As we reported yesterday in Jerusalem in
a shrapnel from the an Iranian missile
strike damaged the Bana clois. See even
shrapnel is dangerous. Not even. It's
dangerous. It's super scary. The
upcoming wedding of the grandchild of
the banner rebush leader is being moved
to the main hall of the Bela Grand Shul.
President Trump declared, "We no longer
need NATO." This is one of the strongest
statements any American president has
made about the alliance in decades.
Listen to this. Yesterday, Irish Prime
Minister Michael Martin visited the
United States for St. Patrick's Day.
Trump said he said it after the UK,
France, Japan, and Australia all refused
his request to help protect the
commercial shipping through the straight
of Vermuse. Trump called it a foolish
mistake for allies to stand on the
sidelines while the US secures the
waterway. Trump also said he is not
ruling out the use of American ground
forces in Iran. Well, though a
full-scale invasion is not what is being
considered, he has asked China to use
its influence to push for the straits
full reopening. He planned a trip to his
planned trip to Beijing to meet with
President Xi has been delayed
indefinitely. Mar um maritime
intelligence shows the number of ships
passing through the straight of Hormuz
has nearly doubled in recent days,
suggesting Iran is losing control of
that straight. Japan's prime minister,
Mrs. Takiachi, is in Washington this
week. Trump is pressing her to cut off
all Iranian oil purchases. This is a big
ask because of how much of Japan's
supply comes from Iran. Some European
governments are already moving to
rebuild their own military capabilities
because everybody is losing faith in
NATO. Let's look at the economic impact
of the war. Australia's Australia
projects a prolonged war could cost its
economy 16.5 billion and push GDP 6/10en
of a percent of a percent lower by 2027.
This could also drive inflation back to
5% this year and keep fuel prices
elevated until 2029. In Britain, heating
oil prices have doubled since the
conflict began. Like I said uh two days
ago, yesterday it was that Prime
Minister Kama has offered subsidies
because of that, hitting the 1.7 million
homes that rely on it. American farmers
are warning that distributions to um
Iranian ura exports could sharply drive
up fertilizer costs. UA is a nitrogen.
It is a plant food that helps the grass
and veggies grow big and strong. It
looks like tiny white sugar crystals or
little snowballs. In the real world, it
is a very important fertilizer that
farmers all over the planet used to grow
crops like corn, wheat, and rice. The
Federal Reserve Rabai is meeting this
week and there probably will be no
interest rate cuts in America at all
this year. This is a sharp reversal from
the two cuts expected just months ago.
Ukraine is also feeling the pressure.
President Zalinski told the BBC, "The
Middle East conflict has pulled missile
supplies away from his country, leaving
Ukraine short on air defense systems
that are needed to protect civilians
from Russian strikes, which are still
happening, my friends, as the Iranian
war is going on." He said that Putin
wants to see a long US Iran conflict to
keep the American attention and
resources away from Ukraine and to help
Russia make money from his sanctioned
oil that most countries need right now.
At the same time, Zalinski announced
that 201 Ukrainian military experts have
been deployed to the Gulf region to
support and help counter Iranian drones.
A senior UAE official said publicly that
Iranian attacks have pushed Gulf states
closer together,
closer to both the US and Israel. His
words, "We're not seeing 2,000 Israeli
Israeli or US missiles and drones
targeting us. We are seeing 2,000
Iranian missiles and drones targeting
us. So, it's Iran who is the adversary.
Back in the United States, lawmakers are
hearing the exact details about the war
with Iran. The House and Senate are
holding briefings with top generals.
General Michael Krill, the head of the
US Central Command. He is updating
Congress on the combat operations and
the ongoing cooperation between America
and Israeli forces. Lawmakers are
getting realtime details on the massive
US operations and strikes along the
Straight of Hormuz and other places. War
Secretary Pete Hexth and Pentagon
officials are explaining exactly what
the armed forces have been doing so far.
President Trump confirmed this week that
the American B2 um stealth bombers
completely destroyed Iran's navy and air
force. But Congress is also hearing
about the cost. The Pentagon says the
war is now costing American taxpayers
about $2 billion every single day.
Defense officials and War Department
officials are also are also discussing
emergency evacuation plans. They are
figuring out how to rescue American
citizens who are still stuck and
stranded in the Middle East as the
fighting spreads. The head of national
security uh sorry the head of national
counterterrorism center has resigned
yesterday over the US military strike on
Iran, the most senior official to break
publicly with the president over the
conflict. Joe Kent, nominated by Trump
and confirmed by the Senate just weeks
ago, stepped down Tuesday. In his
resignation letter, Kent wrote that the
United States entered this war due to
pressure from Israel and its American
lobby and issued a direct warning to
Trump. You can reverse course and chart
a new path for our nation or you can
allow us to slip further towards decline
and chaos. You hold the cards, he said.
Trump called Kent weak and said he
should never have been in the job.
Presidential allies went further,
calling him a crazed egoomaniac and
insisting he was anywhere about to be
fired. Director of National Intelligence
Tulsi Gabbard Ken's direct supervisor
and someone who previously spoke
publicly about the dangers of a war with
Iran is now defending the strikes and
the bombs and the war. She she wrote
that it is President uh Donald J.
Trump's responsibility to determine what
constitutes and what constitutes an
imminent threat and that Trump concluded
Iran was one. The Senate voted yesterday
to open a debate on the Save America
Act, already passed by the House last
month and called a top priority by
President Donald J. Trump. The bill
would require anyone registering to vote
to show physical proof of US citizenship
like a passport or birth certificate.
Voting would also require strict photo
ID. Federal law already ban non-citizens
from voting. This bill would require
voters to prove it with paperwork.
Democrats oppose it, saying millions of
of of legal citizens don't have a
passport or easy access to their birth
certificates, and the law would block
real citizens from voting. The bill
needs 60 Senate votes to pass.
Republicans don't have that. Senate
Majority Leader John Thun admits they
likely can't overcome a filibuster, but
says the vote puts every Democrat on the
record. Starting April 2nd, visitors
from 12 additional um countries will
need to pay a US visa bond. This cost is
between5 and $15,000
to move to prevent visa overstays. But
the good news, the money is fully
refundable if you follow the rules about
$15,000.
We are now 1 month into the government
shutdown and American airports are
reaching a breaking point. TSA officers
have gone weeks without pay. At some
airports, more than half of staff is
simply not coming in. Well, they
probably don't know about the $10,000
bonus if you you get if you come to
work. The UK has already issued a formal
travel warning for flights into the
United States. Now, the Department of
Homeland Security is warning that if the
shutdown continues, some airports could
close entirely. In Washington, House
Minority Leader Hakeem Jeff is trying to
um is trying to bypass Republican
leadership and force a vote. Listen to
this. The plan is to fund the TSA, FEMA,
and the Coast Guard, but leave ICE and
Border Patrol Border Patrol without
funding. Democrats say it's fine because
the White House is already paying for
the border security separately anyway.
But the math is a problem. Democrats
need four Republicans to join them and
nobody is interested. Even some
Democrats admit the plan won't work.
Meanwhile, President Trump's pick to
lead Homeland Security. Senator Mark
Wayne Muan had his confirmation hearing
this week. He told senators he went on a
secret overseas mission, but he did not
give any details. Democrats asked sharp
questions, but he is still expected to
get the job. Three men have been charged
with a hate crime after an anti-Semitic
beating at um Santana Row, an upscale
shopping center in San Jose, California.
The victims were targeted because they
were speaking Hebrew. The three men who
were charged include a California
attorney. All three faced charges
connected to the assault.
Andre Butner, Germany's anti-semitism
commissioner for the state of somewhere
has to has has quit his political party
after 11 years and the reason is the
party stands on Israel. Butner said he
could not stay in a party that has
become anti-semitic. That's in Germany.
A non-Jewish farmer in Lithuania is
asking the Jewish world for help.
Dontas, Dontas,
Viselonas,
Viselonas recently bought a barn in the
town of um Seta and found 18 found 18th
century, sorry, and found 18th century
Jewish gravestones built right into the
fence. During the Soviet era, local
authorities demolished the Jewish
cemetery there and used the stones as
building material. This guy posted
photos to a Jewish history forum and
asked Jewish organizations to come
remove and relocate the stones properly.
He writes, "Hello, I am a farmer from
the Seta area on my private property
within the foundations of a Soviet Arab
barn. I have discovered a large number
of fragmented Jewish headstones, Mativas
taken from the destroyed Seta Cemetery
decades ago. I've identified several
names on the stones. A barak of Halivi
who passed away in 1888. Toia Baritk
