we started to be involved in Colorado
very early on in our life as adults and
with the year goes go by and we got to
this Hood to be more and more involved
with the organization this year the
relationship kind of went one step far
farther when their help actually helped
my family which is something that I
never thought I'm gonna need
my family my my grandparents were born
in Kuching in India Their Eyes Were
focused on yahushalayim my uncle in
Israel as a kid he was a Wonder Boy
started to lose his way a little bit and
he started to close himself from
everybody his siblings were making sure
that he's been kept well and with
company and fed but during kovid things
had changed and all of the sudden they
were not allowed to come and visit him
my father called me one day and told me
about this problem and I was trying to
think about solution with him and of the
society and I said wait a second that's
what cool Chabad are doing we called and
literally I think it was the next day
there was somebody up there with a box
full of food and he was always was so
impressed by how delicious the food was
after every week that they were bringing
the food he just he couldn't get enough
of how a amazing this was from the food
to the kindness of the delivery guy and
called Chabad really of service him and
were there for him really until the last
day where in fact they came to deliver
the food and nobody answered the door
and they contacted siblings and you know
the students came right away and that
was the end even even when you part of
this this organization and even when you
help and donate and
try to be a part of it you never really
understand how how it can be close to
home how you know you always feel like
oh it's this old people or
people that are in need in Israel I want
to help them but they're far away from
me the connection is is far away but
really really deep it it can be
it's right there it's not so far away it
can be anyone uncle or anybody anyone
Grim grandparents so when we sit here in
Miami we have to remember that we're not
helping some remote cause far away we're
really helping something that can be
you know somebody from our family
any day
