When HALF is really WHOLE! Daily Mitzvah day #55

okay we are back at it with the day limits for today's Mitzvah is the mitzvah that every man who was counted in the census must give a half shekel to the Holy Temple must give a half circle to the Holy Temple that is correct now this Mitzvah only applies while the temple is standing the shekels the half shekel that we give nowadays before Purim is a custom to remind us of the old days to make us wish for it but in the temple times each Jew gave a half shekel and everyone gave the same amount equal amount to show that we each had the same contribution the same portion in the sacrifices that were brought with that money because one half shekel makes us all whole
