What will happen to unaffiliated Jews when Moshiach comes???

a few months ago I had the opportunity to spend pesak at Bruce Bachman's wonderful pesak program pesak in the south east with Rabbi Simmon Jacobson he told over a story that resonated so deeply with me I was invited to be on a panel with two rabbis an orthodox and conservative Rabbi and it was in Huntington New York they were given 10 questions ahead of time they were able to prepare their answers each one gave their answer and then they opened it up to the floor this I remember around 500 people in the room and a woman all the way in the back to the left I remember she said I heard all three of you eloquently describe end of days Messianic World utopian world the world of peace I want to know what will happen to the largest segment of the Jewish population who I speak on behalf that segment is the unaffiliated the alienated the ones that don't necessarily have a synagogue don't even know what it means to be Jewish what will happen to us if the Messiah comes tonight that was the question you can hear a pin drop all of them are secular thank God my turn was third so first came the Orthodox Rabbi and he said four words he said God will have mercy that's all he said now I don't know if you've ever heard AO but 500 people booing someone is very very uh humiliating the rabbi walks back back to his chair and then it was the conservative rabbis turn he turns to me and he says Rabbi Jacobs I have the same question to myself what will happen to them and then he really added fuel to the fire he said and his voice was Dripping with sinicism I heard from a sadic who said that the Holocaust happened because the Jews had transgressed and then he went into graphic detail describing every atrocity perpetrated by the Nazis was like T mid ConEd mid for what the Jews had done and then he concludes and says so RAB Jacobson is that going to happen to the Jewish people that are secular today if mhia when Messiah comes and honestly I didn't know what I was going to say s like I I was prepared for this but I knew one thing was a real important moment because these hundreds of people are either going to go home with terrible experience and no answer or I'll say something that will be meaningful so what you do then you close your eyes and you just pray to God put the right words in your mouth and I said the following I said the balat one said that when you asked a question you don't have an answer you tell a story and if that doesn't work you sing a song so I said I'm going to tell a story and I hope it helps if not I'll have to sing so yeah I got a nice awkward laugh I said the following story I said the fifth Reb his name was Reb shom do of laich Reb rashab he was known I said he was dancing and speaking very highly about simple Jew not a scholar not particularly Pi not particularly just simple and one of the was very upset the Reb seems to only talk about the value and the virtue of a what happened to all the all the all the all the and finally he approaches the Reb rashab and he says rebba what happened to all the holy righteous people why are you only talking about the this happened to be a diamond dealer so the rebba looks him in the eye the rebba says would you do me a favor would you bring me a bag of diamonds he didn't know where the rebel was going but he ran home got that bag of diamonds came back to the rebba and gave it to him the Reb said I'm going to choose the most precious one he chose the most lustrous the largest rock and he said no the said you know that might be the shiniest and largest diamond of the whole pack but it ain't the most valuable he says but it looks the the best one to my eyes he said Reb with all respect you have to have a trained eye there's other factors that you can't the naked eye can't always see and the re says aha you have to be a diamond dealer to know which one is the most valuable Diamond you have to be a soul dealer to know which one is the most valuable soul and as reab Simon Jacobson finishes the story he turns to the audience 500 secular Jews and he says souls are measured by the journey by the struggle so who are we in general to talk about Souls which soul is greater which Soul we don't have any clue it could be the souls with the greatest challenges are the greatest Souls on Earth CU that's why God gave them challenges because they have so much power I was taught by my teachers that if Messiah comes tonight the Jews with the greatest challenges and maybe with the least amount of information and knowledge will March first I should only be so lucky as to be behind you when we greet mashiach and unanimously everybody got up and gave him a standing ovation you know the people in this film or for that matter any person we meet may very well be from the most valuable souls in the world we're not Soul dealers but we have to assume the very best in everyone because at the very least we know this [Music] El every person has a soul and that soul is pure it could never be polluted it can never be defiled because it's a piece of hasem you breathed her into me and if we can look past the physical veil of another human being and allow ourselves to sense their Nish and treat them
