What is the secret to success? Why do children succeed where adults give up?

When you're three, you're standing or running. There's two modes. Why are three-year-olds unbeatable and unstoppable? It's because they live and breathe the ingredient of success. It's one word, desire. A three-year-old doesn't like things. They want them badly. So badly that it's with all their heart and soul. Their goals may be childish, but when they see something, they want it. They wouldn't just like it. They wouldn't just rather it. They want it. For us, we would like to be successful. We prefer to have love and health and purpose. We would rather a really good job. We would like it, but as long as it doesn't interfere with my life, right, my comfort zone. I'd rather be happy and fulfilled as long as it's not too hard to get. You ever watch a 2-year-old learn how to walk? It's like a clamshell, right? They get up, fall down, get up, fall down. We're like embarrassed for them. If it was us, we would try twice and then crawl into a car and learn how to drive, right? That 2-year-old doesn't care. She doesn't worry about how it looks. She wants it and she'll go after it a million times until she gets it. When you live with that much desire, you live with every fiber of your being. You attack the world with enthusiasm and energy and the world is yours.
