so many areas of Torah thought and I actually you know I've heard him speak in person countless times I've had so many I've had you know meaningful meaningful deep conversations with him he is extraordinary so you are in for an absolute treat so one of the big questions are sitting on me is the we grew up with the concept of mashia mashia we are now almost 2,000 years after the destruction of the B mikash and it's always in my mind what is mashiach okay that's the question of all questions and I guess the most appropriate day to address the very fact that for thousands of years Jews are talking about it not once a day not twice a day but dozens of times every day in good times and in difficult times and challenging times and in blessed times just demonstrates to us how intrinsic Mia is our entire existence history is what Judaism is in fact the M says that when you study the opening story of creation the beginning of bases the beginning of Genesis and he speaks about the fact that there was Darkness on the face of the Abyss there was a spirit of the Divine hovering above the dark Waters so the M says that's the spirit of mhia and it really tells us what MH is Messiah is the Jewish internal belief that we were all conceived in love and that the entire world is really Oneness we are all derivatives of infinite Consciousness everything we see every person we encounter is a manifestation of divine energy yet life is filled with so many blockages and so many obstacles and so many concealments we often live in a place of egotism and a place of wounds and Trauma and divisiveness and hatred and pettiness and smallness mesiah is really when the inner truth the inner music of all of existence will emerge when the outer shells will open up and we'll really be able to experience ourselves and each other as part of infinite Oneness as part of the Oneness of internally mashiah means when our own Darkness will be transformed into light and that's why the work of mashiah begins now when each of us confronts our own blockages our own wounds our own Survival mechanisms and we really allow ourselves to live with our broadness with our infinite Consciousness with our Divinity that is creating an individual microcosmic element of messiah in our own lives there's also something very important to understand about this you know the no yesah the prophet Isaiah says mhia Comes This is in chapter 11 of yesaiah the Jewish people are going to look at history and say thank you Hashem thank you God for everything we experienc now I have a question is there anything any one of us can imagine will happen in this world that will justify all of the darkness the pain the persecution The Savage suffering that so many Jews and other people went through for so many years what can already happen you know give me endless free sushi and tuition and no mortgage problems and no sh crisis and perfect house does that even justify the death the untimely death of one child that means that there's something about the revelation of mhia that we actually have no clue of how powerful it is there is going to be such a level of infinite Divine Bliss in our Consciousness and the world that we you and I and all of us will be able to look back and say aha wow that's why I went on that Journey wow thank you what's going on now in the world uh especially in Israel and all around the world why is it so important and is now more an supicious time to Hope and and pray and expect Masia to come in our times uh Jews say they've awaited M every single day but today we're living at a time in history when so many of our greatest lead leaders and sages over the past half a century and even before have said that according to all the signs in the Torah and in the talud and the cabala and all of the works of medish and Jewish Mystic ISM and Jewish ethical works you know this is the this is the time we also see in the world such an intense explosion on one hand of technological revolutions and developments that even a few years ago we couldn't imagine also there's a new age of Consciousness Dawning upon Humanity I heard from the LA myself this is right before his illness this is 1992 and he says anyone who studies the universe now could see that the energy of Redemptive Consciousness is already in the world however we need to open our eyes the words that he used were I still remember the work of trying to figure out which is what is good what is evil because of the mixture that has been done now our duty is and our privilege is to actually accept the energy and the experience of msia and I always thought what what is that supposed to mean he didn't know about all the the evil in the universe I knew and he didn't know I think part of what he meant was after thousands of years of history in our individual lives it becomes obvious that there are Parts in us that are toxic and poisonous there are Parts in us that are Divine we look at all the parts with a lot of empathy and compassion but our deepest choice now is to be maab mashiah in our own life to be able to accept the truth I am Divine I am good I'm awesome I'm amazing you know what is the hardest thing for people that entanglement that we have that I'm in mesed and entangled with all of my different parts and I don't know who is me and who's not me so today there's an opportunity to actually look at all your parts accept all of them because each one is serving a purpose and each one is here for a particular reason and then can you accept the Messiah inside of you can you accept that you are a real agent of redemption in this world and if I look at the world if I take a look at Israel the greatest tragedy and I think this is this is heart-wrenching God has given Israel unbelievable gifts in the last few decades they have won every war in an extraordinary way and they had tremendous opportunities to actually start living with an Ambiance of redemption but what happened what happened was this was an ill-fated choice of so many Israeli leaders who did not have the confidence and the faith that this is their country they did not have the confidence to believe that they're enemies that they really want to destroy them and with their own hands they literally Resurrected the poison all around them and gave them life and we all have that choice in us like we we're given a tremendous gift now of clarity we are all given a tremendous gift now of bringing Redemption into our life and into the world but there's a big a is you have to be able to accept I can give you a gift from today till tomorrow but if you reject it it's not going to happen we today you could see in the world and this is what's happening people and are vomiting we we are seeing the evil emerge because it's trying to separate the good is trying to separate from the evil and now our work is to actually accept our goodness like really embrace it and and believe in it and internalize it so I think both collectively and individually we are in a time where the energy of Messiah is all over the place but we got to open our eyes wow wow I'm speaking to myself too I also to open my eyes we all have to open our eyes yes that makes sense you know sometimes you could be standing in front of the most Exquisite place in the universe but your eyes are closed you're there it's all there or my eyes are closed each of us is standing at the Threshold at the cusp of the most Exquisite paintings of our own soul of our own inner universe but if my eyes are closed I just don't see it uh recently A friend of mine sent me a video of speaking by about uh the and what we can do can I show it to you sure [Music] Bas 1984 I was a little child and he that's summer 1984 few weeks before [Applause] uh and I think this video you know articulates very well like like when whenever I see this video I've I've seen it in the past as well it's like that's the re like the urgency the urgency the immediacy of it like he's talking in 1984 let's face it this is almost 2,000 as you said almost 2,000 years after the destruction of the of Mikes he's talking to thousands of Jews in Brooklyn New York who are more or less pretty comfortable we experiened prosperity in our generation more than any other generation and blessings in our generation despite the fact that we have some serious challenges especially today yet what the rebba was really saying is that he was quoting the who says is a continuous travesty it's a continuous tragedy it's like a trauma it doesn't it's not redemption and it's not just a fantasy or theoretical thing but every person what and could see themselves as an ambassador an ambassador of love and of light and of Hope and of healing and of divine Consciousness and of Redemptive Consciousness and one's attitude to it should not be passive people should take leadership take action realize you are an indispensable note in God's Symphony you are an indispensable part of the mission to bring Redemption to the world some people look at themselves I'm just a small regular guy I don't have money I'm not brilliant I'm not talented I'm not famous I'm just a regular guy trying to make ends meet and support my family re didn't see it that way he's like Caravel there's a little corner in the universe that belongs to you there's a reason you are here in history nobody will ever be able to do what you could do nobody before you and nobody after you every person has a unique mission in this world there's something at stake in your life In Your
