What do you even say when someone asks if you’d ever give up your Judaism?

If I had the ability to change your identity at the end of this interview, you're no longer Jewish. Would you give it up? >> My Jewish identity? No, for sure not. Why not? [music] >> Judaism is not a component of my identity. It is my identity. You know, my name is Champis Kimbam. I wear a Yamaka. I'm from an Orthodox community. [music] It's like, go figure. This guy likes Israel. But when we have a guy like Nate Buzz who does not have any [music] immediate personal or familial attachments to Israel, we kind of [music] are taken back. >> I first went to Israel in 2017. Everything that people were saying about apartheid, you know, genocide, occupation was almost the opposite. Culturally, what I've realized is the Jewish identity and the culture of the Jewish identity isn't really fit to explain [music] to a world who they are to people who don't understand them. >> The Bible says three things will be true. You'll be small in number, check. You'll be scattered across the world, check. And you'll be hated. And it [music] will be an irrational hate, but you will always be hated.
