hello hello hello hello how do you start one of these videos I'm a talk for election today I thought let's decompose decompress D I made time for enough and today I thought let's deconstruct one of my songs from my latest album well I thought was really interesting because it's something that interested me was how is that song made from A to Z from A to Z from a to whatever how's that song made how's the song made so I thought we should look at track three of my album sure Lucia so first like any song we start with the concept and this one was really close to my heart music is subjective music is a universal language but if we join together in singing a new song - M peace will come and that was the concept by the way you have to really really excuse this hair is locked down hair to this day I'll always remember for you guys in Manhattan walking out a wall for them getting a whatsapp voice note from the composer Louie Hirsch are sending me a track that went something like this [Music] okay so that doesn't sound like Beethoven's fifth symphony granted but the magic is still to come the famous question what comes first the chicken or the egg what comes first the lyrics or the music well truthfully there's no answer every time it's slightly different in this case it was the melody it was the tune that came first so now we've got there Nana Nana Nana Nana Nana we've got the rhythm we get the idea we get where this is going we've got the concept we've got the melody now we need lyrics Miriam Israeli is not just a famed lyricist or even a fantastic singer and how oh right which is actually the biggest pleasure to work with after a lot of back and forth back and forth what's up conversations and emails and Word documents and Google Docs and whatnot she produces amazing beautiful lyrics then we're able to take that concept which produce those lyrics put it into the melody and hey presto we've got our song dun dun dun duh ante [Music] : / I Drive straight down to New Jersey to visit Yan Prater music extraordinaire he gets the musicians together he writes the music and then unable to walk into that studio there is nothing like that feeling but the headphones on and then you just sing your heart out 1 2 3 [Music] me [Music] she's fine she has a heater [Music] sabe - Azul Tommy said meet me [Music] me [Music] she for me my me [Music] my brand-new something or shine my brand-new some she got -
