[Music] let's get let's get moving hi Maxine UK you came across my radar and a lot of other people's when you did that the big article in the Omni magazine about wedding expenses you trying to make a wedding for $10,000 I posted I saw it it was very interesting very intrigued by the idea my whole family discussed it a short while later I wrote a post that went viral about wedding invitations I wrote that I don't see these paper invitations they come half the time they get thrown out I don't know what the point is it's a waste of money send me a text send me an email and then someone connected us and they brought us together so we're talking today and I'd love to learn about who you are what made you take on this campaign what brought you to this place okay so let me tell you this Joel the whole thing started I mean the financial services business for the best 20 years already and I see people's finances I see where this drop link I see where they have goals and I see where all their goals in their planning fall apart when it comes to centers when it comes to making customers and a few weeks ago about six weeks ago I think it's already six weeks my son got engaged birthday champ and I had a conversation with him a coordinated me you know he's a hard working person and it he's making for no sir but he doesn't have extra money to just throw in the garbage like most of us don't have and we are a conversation that we want to make sure we're only going to spend money on things that we really feel is important and things that we feel that we may want to do we want to spend and after making that decision I thought to myself so many hundreds of people thousands of people are having you know making simplest and the time of the life that should be them the most precious time the most beautiful time they fall apart and things don't work for them and this could stop so I I came up with this thing you know what let me do a $5,000 wedding I'm gonna try to make this wedding for less than that that $10,000 now when I say $10,000 I don't mean 10,000 out of the wedding night I mean from the Messiah until after Shadybrook us shouldn't cost more than $10,000 and a lot of people mistake with that they think that I'm talking about the wedding night I'm talking about the whole package Hackford back with my coat shouldn't be more than $10,000 now when I did it I wasn't sure if I'm gonna succeed with it I thought maybe I'm gonna terribly fail and it's gonna be 15 or $20,000 I took the chance let's see how this is gonna work and I invited people to join their wife said group where we're gonna be able to do this together and when I did it I thought I'm gonna have next enough of a hundred people joining this group as to four hours of opening the what's a group I had over 4,000 followers people who wanted to know more I wanted to get in trouble at the group I couldn't allow everybody to just participate and talking and start sending messages it would go you know could go out of him so I started posting things and then all of a sudden the media was all over me including the Omni magazine they came to me - paper for an interview I gave them an interview and this is you know I had I think over 12 or 13,000 views on LinkedIn itself on this Emmy interview this is how it all started and then you sent this infant this message about the invitation that you got frustrated which happens to be a spoke to my wife yesterday about it and she said that she's a big fan of still sending paper invitations I'm just telling you I don't like it either but you know there are still some people who don't have whatsapp that don't have so much access to email there you know the homeless stay-at-home moms and then and they have they don't think and they want to know about centrioles that's going on but this is how we got commissioned and I think that's one of I think that's one of the points of your campaign is everyone should do what they think is right for them not what is the norm not what you have to do about what you should do because you know if your wife likes imitations and she feels that other people need it great and that's what you should do for you or that's what other mokopuna should do for my wife they should send her an invitation but for most of us why do we need invitations I mean most we send invitations to the whole town that you know they're not even even interested in the whole castle why should we send it but even a for the people who are interested send them an email and you know put it only on your whatsapp status on your work and you know send a broadcast and what's up why do you need to send paper invitations forget about the course I'm talking about you know it doesn't even make sense it's not efficient than an efficient way to invite [Applause] you
