South Lakewood to service the community

tell us a little bit about the
experience where you original from sure
I'm I'm from BR Brooklyn originally I uh
moved to Oakhurst which is 30 minutes
north uh before the summer and we just
opened the office uh a couple of months
ago I was working in Brooklyn for many
years at an upscale orthodontic office
named uh m Orthodontics with Dr Ron Mahi
a legend in the field and um I still
work there a couple days a week and I
work here a couple days a week as well
as we build it up Al so let's first
start the beautiful waiting room I love
this thank you thank you and you told me
you designed this place really impress
it's really impressive I appreciate it
yeah I wanted a little bit of something
for everybody so we have a little area
for the children here to play some uh
some games uh some toys and then for the
adults who want to just relax we have a
nice calming area here uh we have some
refreshments uh some tea some water and
I just wanted to make it a very bright
very modern uh environment that's right
like it that's the key all right soik
show us what's going on inside so this
is our reception area here uh this is
the area where uh patient will brush and
rinse their their mouth when they first
come in uh this is our main treatment
area we have a center island with five
treatment chairs that can be used um all
at the same time if need be uh each
chair has a spot for a mother or father
someone else to sit and observe if they
would like uh back here we have this is
the laboratory this is where we make our
appliances our retainers we have the
latest in technology in the 3D printer
here from from form labs and all of the
latest why did use before the 3D printer
unfortunately before the 3D printer we
had to take those Impressions it's like
a mold of your teeth and the 3D printer
really allows us to take U digital scans
which you'll see in a minute and it
avoids the whole impression process so
thankfully we don't have to do that
anymore uh this is the sterilization
area here this is where we clean our
instruments uh to get everything to the
highest standards of clean and ster
sterilized um this is our records area
so when your first visit you'll come
here and we'll take some photographs and
we'll take a digital scan of your teeth
this is the itero 5D it's the latest
intraoral scanner and that's going to
allow us to take the digital scan of
your teeth which basically copies your
teeth instead of taking the mold uh this
is our x-ray machine here so this is the
latest uh serona x-ray machine it's a
digital uh panx and Seth machine that
allows us to see um an x-ray of your
teeth of your jaws of your structure
make sure everything is healthy what is
what is the difference from the
oldfashioned one that you have to put in
this yeah this has a very low dose of
radiation um and and yeah that's that's
the main difference really is that it
has a very low dose of radiation and
it's extraoral so there's nothing
nothing really goes inside your mouth
wow yeah okay here we have the
consultation room so in your first visit
we'll take photographs and we'll display
them on the screen here then we discuss
the treatment plan we do a good
examination and discuss the optimal
treatment uh we offer um a multitude of
different options here we have clear
braces from light Force which is a 3D
printed uh braces system very cool uh of
course we have our clear liners from
Invisalign which are fantastic as well
for our adult and adolescents and lastly
we have our probably the newest thing is
this is called Embrace and this is from
inside yeah this is from the inside and
this is a very cool um very new type of
treatment and that's the most typical
one yeah this is the uh the old school
one here even these are a little bit
unique cuz they do have these little
doors that open and close around the
wire so they they stay cleaner and they
work a little bit faster um and those
are the regular metal braces very nice
