Some people sometimes think to themselves, What's the big deal? What do I gain if I control my eyes? Does it really make a difference? Look at me, who am I? I'm a nobody, I fall, I slip, I sin. Do I really hold any weight in the world? Okay, so that Tzaddik, that Gadol, that Rosh Yeshiva. Okay, so them – fine, but me? Rabosai, I want to share with you something that is so tremendous, that we probably can't even comprehend, but listen anyways. Says Reb Simcha Zisel of Kelm: It would have been worthwhile for Hakadosh Baruch Hu to create the world, the entire universe for 6,000 years, if only one time one Jew would say "Baruch Hu Uvaruch Shemo". That means all of the galaxies, all of the oceans, all the mountains, the entire animal kingdom, every lion that you see, every shark in the ocean, everything – the caves, you know those caves made out of ice? All of that would have been worthwhile to create for one Jewish person, anyone! Any Jewish person to say "Baruch Hu Uvaruch Shemo" one time – it would have been worthwhile. And the reward is unfathomable. And then he goes veiter and he says: One "Amen" is 1,000 times greater than a "Baruch Hu Uvaruch Shemo", and one "Amen Yehe Shmeh Rabba" is 1,000 times greater than an "Amen", which is 1,000 times greater than a "Baruch Hu Uvaruch Shemo", which Hakadosh Baruch Hu would have created the world for 6,000 years for one person to say one time. And then he even goes on to Torah, that one word of Torah is 1,000 times greater than an "Amen Yehe Shmeh Rabba" which is about a billion times greater altogether, if you go one word of Torah, one sentence of Torah, one Shiur. Now I was thinking to myself, to say "Baruch Hu Uvaruch Shemo" one time, or even 10 times in Shul is not such a big deal. I mean, once you go to Shul, he makes the Bracha – you say, "Baruch Hu Uvaruch Shemo". To say "Amen", also not such a big deal. "Amen Yehe Shmeh Rabba" – Okay, it takes a few seconds. And yet, that's what Hakadosh Baruch Hu would have done for one "Amen Yehe Shmeh Rabba"? Rabosai, how hard is it to look down, when you are tempted with something so strong? The Yetzer Hara who knows us so well, who tries to get us to look at so many inappropriate things and it's so hard, so challenging. Rabosai, if one "Baruch Hu Uvaruch Shemo" is worth so much, and one "Amen", and one "Amen Yehe Shmeh Rabba" – Imagine one time controlling yourself. Imagine ten times controlling yourself. Imagine just taking the time to watch a clip, to learn a skill to control yourself. Rabosai, no matter who you are, no matter how small you think you are – which you're not, you're a child of G-d, you're a Chelek Elokah Mima'al – Imagine what you could do, imagine the power you have with one time controlling yourself. Rabosai, let's open up our eyes to the strength that we all have and control ourselves, and make Hashem proud.
