Anybody who's ever gone to camp knows about how much creativity and how much originality it brings forth. Color War, especially. A lot of these songs that are written in Color War are so cute, so sweet. Last year, I saw a song, I saw the lyrics to a song and a clip of a song that wasn't cute and it wasn't sweet. It was so much more than that. It was Camp Agudah Midwest, the teams were Guf against Neshama, and the team of Guf, a very talented young man, named YC Schur, wrote a song, a theme song, for the team of Guf that was arresting. He was explaining the majesty, the splendor inherent in a Yiddishe Guf, and the way he did it was brilliant. Malachim, how can you understand what it means to keep the Torah? You can't imagine what it feels like to fight a burning Yetzer Hara. I'm so happy for these boys, because they're going to encounter a Nisayon, like everybody does, encounter a place of challenge or a time of challenge, and the refrain to this song is going to... it's just going to come alive in their head and start playing. And that's going to be more powerful than a thousand Vayimaen videos, because it's the essence of the fight.
