The Comeback | Mr. Michael Rothschild

Come on, you gotta admit it. We are living in historic times. Trump, standing up against half of America, made what is undoubtedly the biggest political comeback in U.S. history and won the election that will make him the most powerful man in the world. Just think about what he faced over the last four years. The Russian collusion lie, all the indictments, impeachments, a civil judgment against him for over $350 million, charging him with violations of laws that haven't been enforced in decades, and trying to knock him off the ballot in 30 states, and that's just the government. Comedians mocked him, reporters humiliated him, politicians slandered him. I'll be honest with you. If even one of these things happened to most of us, we would curl up in a ball under our covers and never come out. But Trump never gave up. Not only did he fight all the charges, but he also actually had the audacity to run for the presidency again. And he won. You know, we actually have a lot in common with President Trump. We also have a very powerful enemy trying to take us down. The Satan will do anything to get us to admit defeat in our battle for Kedushah. He will stop at nothing to trip us up and then, more importantly, to convince us that because we tripped up, we will lose, so why even try? Ahhhh. Enter the next president of the United States, who, through his perseverance and obviously, the will of Hashem, has become the most powerful man in the world. He never surrendered, he never let a setback get him down. He just picked himself up and fought another day. And look where he ended up. A Vayimaen Yid is much more powerful. We get this strength from Yosef HaTzaddik himself, who never gave up. The next time you feel like you can't win this battle, just realize how much strength, how much greatness is inside of you and get up to fight another day.
