In this world, you could almost get insurance for anything. There's car insurance, life insurance, homeowner's insurance, renters insurance, fire, flood disability, health, liability title insurance, earthquake, long term care. And yet, perhaps the most important asset we have, and that's our children, you can't get insurance for. But - you can. The Gemorah tells us in Mesechta Makot, that if somebody refrains from eating forbidden fats or blood, which we have no desire for, yet the Torah gives us reward, then certainly - all the more so if somebody overcomes the temptation in matters of Kiddusha, matters of sanctity, all the more so he will merit for himself, for his children, for his descendants until the end of time. In fact, the Sefer Hasidim writes, that every distress, every time a person is pained by overcoming desire and not looking at something inappropriate commensurate with that Hakadosh Baruch Hu will benefit your children and therefore the Chofetz Chaim writes. in the Nidchei Yisrael, that when one is tempted with the challenge in matters of Kedusha, you should know that if you overcome that challenge, Hakadosh Baruch Hu who will bless you, that your descendants will be Giborim. They will forever stay on the straight and the narrow. That's as good of an insurance that we can get in this world. So while we make sure to ensure all of our valuable assets, realize that when you're tempted with a challenge Hakadosh Baruch Hu is giving you the opportunity to purchase the most important insurance of all. Insurance for your children. Don't lose the opportunity.
