A Financial Tip from R' Don | Rabbi Mordechai Stern

Said the Mashgiach, If you're aware that your financial position is dependent on how you stand with Shmiras Einayim, that will be an עצה for you to work on your Shmiras HaEinayim. Let's say we go out now, yeah? And you can see something that we are forbidden to see, and we take our eyes away, it’s such an עת רצון. Ribono shel Olam, help me with this, help me with this. I have a close friend, a Chashuv Talmid Chochom, who was traveling to do a job in the afternoon for supplemental income, and it was paying him very well. And the problem is that he had to drive through a neighborhood where there were regularly Shmiras HaEinayim problems in order to get to the job. Shortly after that, he got an opportunity to be מרביץ תורה in the afternoon, an opportunity which has changed his life. And they asked him, What did you make last year in your job in the afternoon? They were משלים the very substantial salary that he was making, something which was completely unexpected, completely extraordinary. A person's דבר in ממון is dependent on his יקום דבר with his שניים עדים, the eyes that he uses to be the עדים, to see the world. Let's be מחזק, and who knows?
