We are back here on our Wednesday night
stump the rabbi where after some
you guys will ask some questions and
will give us the answers. Tonight's show
is going to be for the for
and all of and all the righteous Noah
that continue to learn Torah with us,
continue to support the organization,
continue to share these lectures and
continue getting closer to anyone that
wants to support could easily go
toem.org
our website or bhtora.org or and uh
donate over there. You could uh also get
yourself as many of these as you
possibly can on the website to
distribute in your community. And we now
even have free shipping in the United
States. We're trying to do as much as we
possibly can to make it easier and
easier for your to simply allow you to
buy as many of these as you could
possibly afford. the uh Kiru boxes
literally get praises on a daily basis
uh from everyone that gets them. Uh but
uh I have to tell you not enough people
not enough people get them simply
because uh there's what 20 million Jews
in the world and uh we still haven't
sold 20 million units. So it's important
for each and every single person to get
as many of these as possible and
distribute them in their community.
Also, last but not least, the AI Rabbi
app. Oh, Hashem is getting some good
feedback from people. One person uh
today sent me a uh message letting me
know that the AI Rabbi uh has
transformed his life. Another person
told me this is the best app I've ever
seen. I've been using it for a few
months. And uh people love the app. You
could uh sign to sign up to the app.
It's uh pretty cheap. Uh the you get a
discount if you uh sign up for a whole
year. You go to a rabbi.org or you could
just find a rabbi uh by our organization
on the app store. So with that being
said, we have a very very important sher
that's relevant to all of you ballet cha
all of you from birth all of you
depressed people. Huh? Hold on a second.
What what do you mean depressed people?
Is a critical we read it every single
year and we learn about
We learn about the brit. We learn about
how Arainu was the ultimate host and Su
was the ultimate chef.
But Va is going to teach us something
else today.
Although the initial goal is to make a
person do chuva get closer to
the sweetness of the Torah seems to
disappear for some people after they've
been doing it for a while as if
they lost it.
If it's not the difficulties of life
that uh cause them to simply become
miserable. It's the inner feeling that
I'm not doing enough that leads to a
very dark path
that will call religious depression.
Meaning they keep Shabbat, they keep
mitzvot, but they're depressed. They're
depressed about their problems. They're
depressed about they're not being
religious enough. They don't study
enough and so on and so forth. Religious
depression, believe it or not, it's more
common than you can imagine.
And if a person does not cure himself,
because you can't go to the doctor, at
least not the regular uh family doctor
for this. You could only go to the
spiritual doctors for this. We also
called them rabbis.
And even then, you have to select the
one that uh could cure you because not
everyone has the tools. Some people even
give the wrong medicine. But
nonetheless, if a person does not cure
themselves of this religious depression,
this misery,
that dark path can actually bring them
as far away from Hashem than you can
possibly imagine, even further than what
they were before they did cha.
After this, you guys will ask some
questions and
will give us the answers.
is in essence a continuation
of what we learned at the end of last
week's par where
told to do a
for himself and for his household
whether it was Ishmael at 13 years old
which we discussed some interesting new
insights we learned last week or it's
the rest of his household
of who did a bleak mah for everyone
Which means everyone was in pain.
Everyone was in pain.
And this para continues
on the third day after
the
interestingly enough
saw that Abramu
is suffering.
and therefore decided
to bring heat to the world, saying, "How
could it be
that the wicked in the world
are comfortable, but the righteous
Abraham and his household are
uncomfortable?" And therefore the
midrash
in section number eight
says
in the name of
that while was recovering from the brit
punctured a hole in the wall that
separates this world from gum
and within a brief moment
this heated up the entire world
together with its inhabitant.
For the holy one, blessed is he, said,
shall the righteous be in pain while the
rest of the world content.
We not only learned that heat is good
for the wound, but also that
said that it's worth it for the entire
world to become uncomfortable for the
sake of this one sadik.
Now,
one of the other things that the tell us
here in the name of the
is that while could have simply done
anything he wanted. There are other
places in the Torah say that Hashem took
the sun out of its shell. Perhaps this
is what it means. Sun out of the shell
meaning he in so many words he opened up
gum's heat into this world. They don't
really contradict. He could have simply
increased the temperature to abnormal
amounts while keeping everything the
same.
Bahu wanted us to learn something here
by specifically using
Gum
as something that will bring healing to
A.
And says,
why did Hashem choose to utilize the
heat of gum to raise the temperature in
the world and heal Abraham rather than
just heat the heat of the sun
because Hashem wished to insinuate
that it was the merit of
that his descendants would be saved from
the fires of Gum.
Now, of course, everyone has heard
the very popular
saying that
will go to Gome and save his
descendants.
Obviously, if they're there, they're not
exactly righteous.
So according to this half statement,
nobody that's Jewish goes and gets
punished.
But what can I tell you?
When you have half statements, you have
half truths which ends up being a
complete lie. Just like the famous
statement we see in our sidu where it
says part of the
all of Israel have a share of the world
to come doesn't have the rest of the
it says and these are the people that do
not have a share of the world to come
which the heretics the atheists the
Shabbat and and so on and so forth.
This too,
this statement too of saying that is
going to save everyone from gay
is also a lie. Why? Because the same
midrash in section number eight
says in the name of Levi
in the next world Abrainu will sit at
the entrance to Gum
and will not allow a circumcised
Israelite to descend there.
That's the part everyone knows.
And what will God do to those Israelites
who have sinned excessively and
therefore deserve gay?
Isan going to override?
No.
Rather
will remove the foreskin from the babies
that died before they were circumcised
and place it upon the sinners,
rendering them uncircumcised.
and then allow them to descend into gay.
Thus, it's written in Psalm 55:21,
he stretched out his hands against those
who were at peace, he profained his
covenant.
This is the reason why it says that in
the heat of the day which is an illusion
to the time when a day will become
what's the prophet Malachi says in
chapter 3 19 for behold the day is
coming burning like an oven.
So
says to after he does the blem, you will
be able to save some of your kids
because of the merit of your because of
your circumcision.
But those that forsake Hashem, those
that die without doing chuva and they
were violating Shabbat, driving on
Shabbat, smoking on Shabbat, working on
Shabbat, the atheists, there are picim
heretics. They listen to people like
Manis Freman and the other on the list.
Well, those of Ramavinu will not even
recognize them as his descendants. Why?
Because even if their parents gave them
a milah at eight days old
will take the
from all of those babies that die before
they have a circumcision whether it's a
uh
premature birth and the baby dies a uh a
palai miscarriage
still life baby all types of very tragic
situations that people have to deal with
and in fact the there is a tradition
among amad it's not an obligation that
even if there is a uh miscarriage at
four or five months old they actually
give the the uh the embryo they gave the
the baby but it's obviously not a living
baby give him a ble
partly because it's to show that We
believe in the resurrection of the dead
and the other part is because of this
midrash
and
and many other talk about it. There are
some that say that it's really only if
they are born
but don't live. But nonetheless,
this
tells us that
is not going to give anyone a free ride.
You can't just live your whole life
as a and expect the reward of the
after that
we see that
does something unusual.
Abrahamu is sitting by the entrance
says that Hashem appeared to him in the
plains of Mam while he was sitting at
the entrance of the tent in the heat of
the day. What is Abrau doing at the
entrance?
In section 9 of midrash he says
said woe to me before I did a
passerby would come by to me
but now that I'm circumcised no one's
coming
and therefore
says
before you did yourself
only uncertain circumcised people would
come to you. But now that you have
circumcised yourself, I and my ministers
will be appearing before you.
And that's why it says and Abraham
raised his eyes and saw and behold three
men were standing over him
and he saw and then he ran towards them.
It says the word that he saw twice. Why
twice? Once he saw
and the other one he saw the angels but
he didn't know there were angels
but in fact
the midrash says
that
Abra saw these angels
and didn't look exactly like a uh
Torah scholars
says that
one of them
looked like a
Syrian uh
a Syrian nomad
Saki.
Another one looked like a ship captain.
And the third one looked like an Aravi.
Arava comes from wilderness, a desert
nomad.
So it didn't exactly
look so uh extraordinary. But if said to
himself,
Hashem will just appear to me.
If he stays here while I go tend to
these guests,
then that will be a sign for me that
these are great people.
And if I see them showing respect to
each other, then I'll know that they're
decent people.
Now, let me ask you a question.
If let's just say
the richest man in the world,
a king of some kind, Elon Musk, your
favorite
hero,
shows up and wants to have a meeting
with you,
but then somebody
down the street
looks like they're walking towards your
house.
Will you stop? Hold on, Mr. uh King. Let
me go attend to these people. See if
they need a place to eat.
No.
The typical answer is no.
The truthful answer is no. No one will
stop a conversation with some president,
with some king, with some billionaire to
go see if somebody that's outside maybe
needs a place to eat, drink, rest.
But Abraham did and knew exactly
what was going to happen. Abraham was
going to leave the
and go attend to these guests which
looked like, Arabs, ship captain,
nomads,
it wasn't Torah scholars. It wasn't uh
something impressive.
From there we learn
a whole lot about
it says that
when Job had his difficulties
to say it lightly
he questioned God
and in section Na
number [snorts]
says that.
Oh, no. It's not break number five. It's
a different one.
See,
I'll just tell you off the top of my
head. Job says toad,
"Hashem, didn't I host guests
with the poor people? I gave them food
like they're used to. And the rich
people, I gave them food like they're
used to.
Then I host them in my house. Anytime
somebody would come to my house, I would
host them.
Why is this happening to me? Why am I
having such difficulties?
Gives Job the answer of all answers
which initially is going to leave us
confused.
And says to Job,
"As much as you did,
host guests,
you did not even do half
of what Arau did. My son Abra, you
didn't even do half of what he did."
Because although you hosted the guests,
it's only when they came to you
of went and chased him looking for
people in the streets. Although you
hosted guests in your one place,
my son built
camps in every place that he went
and filled it up with food and left them
money. So anytime
people would come by, his workers in
those hotels would feed the people.
Even though you gave the poor man the
food that he's used to and the rich man
the food that he's used to, Abra gave
all of his guests the rich man's food.
In so many words, Akadoshu rebukes Job
for thinking that
he was the greatest host, that he did
everything perfect. He says, "No, you
didn't even do half of what Abraham
did."
Now, that begs the question,
why
Why did Abraham do all this?
Why did Hashem
send him guests on the day that he's
supposed to be recovering from a surgery
of a lifetime?
Why? And what does that have to do with
your depression?
If we notice in the beginning when sees
these
Arabs/
angels
it says in chapter 18 verse number 6
and continues till verse number eight.
And hastened to the tent,
meaning he didn't just go to Sarah and
say, "Listen, honey, looks like we have
some guests. Maybe you could prepare
something." No, he ran.
If that was enough, he said to Sarah,
"Hurry, three of me, find flour, knead
and make the cs cakes from there." By
the way, say we learned that this was
during PES. That's why said to
need because as long as you need the
dough, it never becomes.
Further proof of that is later on when
the angels go to save Lot's life and
destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Lot hosts
him and he gives them mats. It literally
says it in the verse. He gives them
matsot mat.
But Abraham hastened to Salah and tells
a hurry. And then Abra ran to the cattle
and the youth hurried to prepare it.
Everyone is in a hurry.
Everyone is in a hurry. Why the hurry?
Okay, you have guests.
Easy.
Take your time.
It's not like uh this is the uh
president, prime minister and the king.
It's not like this is three Moshe
just
three people. Here we learn Abrainu
treated every guest this way just like
said.
Why?
Because Abrainu
has enormous
physical pain
after the brit
doing
at such an age
could even be life-threatening.
But Abrainu
has an even greater pain.
A pain of not having guests.
A pain that time will not heal it. A
pain that is unlike physical pain
because it's spiritual pain.
An example
story that came out recently
is a one of the evil acts of the Israeli
government
in recent months was to go to the
yeshivot and the kals
and arrest
that didn't go to the army.
One of the bahim
18 years old his name was Ariel Shamai.
Ariel Shamai Baluva his whole family is
secular and traditional but
no one expected that Ariel Shamai after
doing Chuva will turn into
a bul that learns 14 15 hours a day of
Torah.
after going to Albazha for a while got
picked up by one of the top yeshivot
in the entire worldkin
his rabbi said this story when I called
Ariel
when he was in the prison
that the Zionist government put him in
for not going to the army
was crying hysterical
Now, what did you think he was crying
about? Not wanting to be in jail. It
smells bad. Bad people. No, Ariel was
crying to Rav and says,
"How could I continue learning and keep
up with the rest of the in in the How
could I learn? I don't have the books
here.
How can I learn?
Going from 15 hours a day learning to
nothing. I can't take it. He was
hysterical crying.
A pain that time will not heal. A pain
that a kadosh will not forgive those who
put him in prison.
A pain that most people will never
understand. You're crying over not
studying. Okay, I understand you like
it, but you're crying over it.
said a story recently about his father
shalom.
He said in his last days he had major
health issues and went to the hospital.
After the doctors
checked everything, they said
he will never be able to sit down and
learn Tawra like he did before. The
problem is not something we could fix.
They left the room and says I was the
only one left in the room
and my father said to me,
"Is it true? Did I hear correctly that
the doctor said that I will never be
able to sit down and learn Torah
anymore? Only laying down?"
He said, "Yes, Aba."
Immediately started hysterical crying.
What do I need this world for? If I
can't learn Torah,
what purpose do I have to be here? Take
me out of this world.
And as the mid says that does not take
the out of this world until they request
to be removed
and his prayer was answered as he
shortly died and left this world
will pray for all of us to help this
orphan generation.
the
wrote in
that we have a whole series on
the greatest sorrow
that I have is when I steer away from
Hashem
and the greatest pleasure that I have is
when I'm doing the will of Hashem.
in our BH Kids channel. One of the
stories that I said years ago that was
turned into a short film for kids was a
story that I'm certain no one in the
room in the lecture that I was giving
understood
and no one will still understand
about the goa.
The goa one time
on the shukan Shabbat
accidentally touched the eggshell that
was left after somebody peeled an egg
from a chulent
but it was just eggshell
and he touched it with his hand and
according to his we don't paskin like
this he had a stringency where he pus
that it's considered mkt
And therefore the moment he touched
what he considered mukt
he could not handle the pain
and he simply
passed out.
After he
got up again and saw the peel again he
passed out again.
After he opened his eyes a third time,
he passed out again. At that moment, his
dear righteous mother understood here we
have piku nephesh life risk. If he
passed out again, he could die. His
heart cannot contain the fact that he
might according to his stringency have
done something against the will of
Hashem.
So as soon as he got up, she took the
peel and she started eating it to show
him that it's not mukt food.
Now the average person scratching their
heads like what are you talking about
passing out because you touch m
I know somebody that drives on Shabbat.
I know somebody that eats pigs. I know
somebody that's married to a non-Jew and
they don't pass out. Yeah. It's because
they're spiritually almost dead.
When a person wants to test themselves
of where they stand spiritually,
our frame has taught us close your eyes.
Are they closed?
What is the first thing now that your
eyes are closed?
Immediately
your mind is more secluded,
more focused, more attentive.
And now you can answer the question,
what is the first thing
that you're thinking of that bothers
you?
The average person may think, well, you
know, I'm hungry. Maybe I'll get some
shuama.
No, pizza. Maybe pizza. Yeah, the pizza
sounds good. Ah, Chinese food. Yeah,
Chinese food.
They're thinking about their billy.
Another person may think, "How I'm going
to pay the credit card bill? I
definitely overspend. I don't have the
money. Maybe I could borrow the money
for my sister.
Maybe I could just do a balance transfer
from one card to the other, like a
personalized Ponzi scheme.
Another person is thinking, "How come I
don't have enough money to buy that new
car I want?
I really want that car.
Where am I going to send my kids to camp
this year? How big is the house that
we're going to buy since now we
[clears throat] have the money?
The average person is having those types
of thoughts.
What kind of dress they're going to
wear, what kind of tie they're going to
put on, if they're going to go to the
sim they were invited to or not.
That's what they're thinking about as a
first thought.
Say, are you thinking maybe about
the galutina how the
our sages told us that when Hashem
destroyed the beta mikdash the left also
it's also in the exile.
Are you thinking about perhaps
that
over 80% of the Jews in the world do not
keep Shabbat?
Over 50%
of the ones that are considered modern
orthodox,
the women do not go to the mikvah,
over 60% do not believe in all 13
principles of faith, specifically divine
providence.
Does that bother you perhaps?
No.
What about all the that's in the world?
heretics,
people that are simply wicked but
pretend to be righteous.
What about that? Does that bother you?
Is that the first thing that came up?
Usually no.
Why no?
Because the majority of people
have not elevated themselves spiritually
to such a point
where the first thought in their mind
is about Hashem
rather the first thought is about
themselves their own personal needs.
Whether it's their desire for schwama or
pizza or desire for a new Tesla car or
truck
or maybe a stock investment or a real
estate deal.
Abrainu
was not that.
Abrainu
was suffering
spiritually
because of his lack of guests.
So much so
that the physical pain that he had
was inconsequential.
And therefore the medicine that Hashem
made of piercing a hole in Gum TO MAKE
THE WHOLE world
hotter than ever
maybe helping him physically
but is suffering much more than ever
before because he's not able to host
guests because he knows this is the will
of Hashem TO HAVE GUESTS. WHY is it the
will of Hashem?
Because the goal of in every place,
whether it was this
tent or all of the other hotels that he
built everywhere
was to make sure that after everyone
finished their meal, naturally they
would say, "Oh, thank you." And he would
say to them, "Thank me. You didn't take
from me, you took from Hashem, THE
CREATOR OF THE WORLD.
And of course, people feeling good
are much more gracious say, "Oh, THIS IS
FROM HASHEM. HASHEM, [screaming]
BLESSED IS HASHEM."
And therefore, HASHEM SAYS TO JOB, "YOU
DID NOT EVEN DO HALF OF WHAT ABRAU DID.
Abrainu made THE WHOLE WORLD LOVE ME,
BLESS ME, connect to me.
Ainu knew that he could not do this
mitzvah because there's no guests.
So the initial cure was curing a
temporary body that Arau cared less
about.
Now you would think that if Hashem is
going to
please Abraham and say you know what I'm
going to send you guests.
He'll send him three easy guests that
everyone would want to host. He'll send
them three extraordinarily wealthy,
wise, and righteous kings
or perhaps three scholars,
people of wisdom. Everyone wants to hear
wisdom.
Three people that
you could tell these are good people.
But no,
Hashem sends him the three angels
that
look like
below average people,
nomads,
people that live in a desert, go from
place to place.
This is what he sends him.
And yet Aminou
is as excited as ever
to see these three
nobodies.
So much SO THAT HE TELLS HIS WIFE SAG,
"HURRY, MAKE MATZAH CAKES. MAKE MAKE
HURRY, ISHMAEL, HURRY. GO GET three
bulls and get their tongues out. We're
gonna MAKE THEM EACH ONE ITS own
tongue." A very very elaborate dish for
each ONE OF THESE
SPECIAL GUESTS. What special guests?
Mustafa Kamas and Osama.
Why is Abraham so excited?
To answer that,
we have to address the problem that's
relevant to us today.
There are many people that when they
started doing chuva or perhaps earlier
in their life even if they grew up from
they were much more excited about doing
mitzvot listening to shim reading
but then
it slowed down
not intentionally
not even noticeably
They started having so many problems in
their life.
Whether it's sickness, money problems,
marriage problems,
panas problems, you know, losing jobs,
having to move,
community problems.
Oh, how many community problems
people have?
And with all of these problems,
Yeah. Yeah, they continue going to shul
or you know they continued praying
but didn't fuel the sweetness of Tah
when they opened the book
they remember those days that when they
learned Torah they would sit there for
hours upon hours forgetting themselves.
Now they're lucky if they could sit for
15 minutes without looking at their
phone or looking around to see if
somebody needs them.
In the past, they were able to listen to
by the rabbi that helped them
get on the path to heaven
for 3 hours without skipping a beat.
But then suddenly now it's almost like
they've become allergic
when they see a shield. They have no
interest
and they say I'm just not inspired
anymore.
Of course, the Satan gives them all
types of excuses to
keep them where they are and even get
them worse. Why? What happened?
How did inspiration go to uninterested?
How did your serious devotion to
learning get to I can't wait to finish.
The satan
planted a seed
and you ate it. You didn't realize it
was a trap.
But now you're here.
Now you're here and you are holding on
by the skin of your teeth
to stay religious, to stay connected.
Even though as soon as you hear that
there's a holiday coming, you're not
exactly excited. Soon as you hear that
Shabbat is coming, you're already
stressed out. As soon as you HEAR THAT
THERE'S TAKA THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE GIVEN
or tuition for yeshiva or some type of
religious expense, immediately you see,
how come it's so expensive? You didn't
say that when you bought the car. You
didn't say that when you bought the
refrigerator. You didn't say that when
you bought the jewels. You didn't say
that when you made an investment. But
when it comes to religious, all of a
sudden, everything's expensive in your
eyes.
The sweetness of Torah has turned into
bitterness.
But you want to stay in. You want to
stay connected. You don't want to leave
the community. You know, overall it's
good. Maybe it's going to change,
but you're suffering.
In fact, even when you try to get
yourself up, maybe I'll start watching
the sher again. Maybe I'll start reading
that book again. Maybe I'll start doing
again.
You do it, but you know, it's not the
same results.
Last time you were able to sit there for
two, three hours, the whole shure and
understand the whole thing and write
notes enough to fill a whole notebook.
Now
you're almost looking at the clock
waiting for it to be over.
In the past, you were able to put a open
a book and just sit there for two,
three, four, five hours without even
thinking twice.
Now if you can sit there for five
minutes without thinking about something
else, it becomes a miracle.
So you realize that it's not the same.
It's so disappointing.
It's so disappointing. I wish I was back
then. I wish I could still sit there for
14 hours and learn. I wish I was still
there and I WAS ABLE TO WATCH the
lecture. I wish I wish I wish. And you
become depressed. AND THAT'S EXACTLY
WHERE THE SATAN WANTS you depressed
from the sweetness turning into
bitterness.
Now the Satan wants you to simply
outright hate it
because if you continue, you will
eventually not only abandon, you'll go
against.
ofu
teaches us one of the most profound
things I've ever learned in my life.
Something that my dear frame explained
in very simple words but make all the
difference in the world to every single
person that's watching this. Because if
you're not going through it right now,
don't discount it because you will go
through it at some point in your life.
This religious depression didn't just
happen to you.
Everyone goes through it at some point
or another.
Everyone bites the bait of the Satan at
some point and cools off. Abrahamu, our
forefather, our shepherd says, "I have a
solution for you, my kids." You know
what the solution is? When I was
suffering, suffering unimaginable pain.
Not from the brit, you fool. No my
child. I was suffering because I used to
host guests. I used to bring people
closer to Hashem and I wasn't able to
that day. My suffering was unimaginable.
Unimaginable.
And then I saw there are three Arabs.
I was so excited to see them. I started
running around everywhere. I GOT MY
WHOLE HOUSE EXCITED. SAH DID IT. ISHMAEL
DID IT. ALL THE HELPERS DID IT. We
simply TURNED THE WHOLE HOUSE INTO A BIG
PARTY SCENE getting ready for these
GUESTS THAT WERE ACTUALLY FAR AWAY
STILL. AND THEN I RAN TO them ignoring
the pain and the blood that's under my
clothes.
In fact, I even left my meeting with
Hashem to go host these people. Do you
know why? Because even though
you may think, well, it's still not the
same.
Before you did the Each time you'd host
guests, it could be 10, 20, 50 people.
Before you did the Milah, maybe it would
have been this. It would have been
better. It would have been more
glorious.
Says, I didn't think that. I said, here
I have an opportunity to glorify Hashem.
I have an opportunity to get someone to
say hashem. I have an opportunity to do
the will of hem.
This is the greatest thing I could ever
do. So even though you may be in a time
where it's difficult for you to listen
to a two-hour lecture rebuking you, YOU
MAY HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME READING A BOOK
AND PAYING ATTENTION. YOU MAY HAVE A
DIFFICULT TIME GIVING TAKA LIKE YOU USED
TO. YOU MAY HAVE A DIFFICULT TIME
CONNECTING TO HASHEM in your prayer
without thinking about all the other
things that are bothering you.
Don't allow yourself to become depressed
because of that.
In fact, appreciate the fact that you
still have some connection left because
you could still say
getting out of the depression
is not by simply imagining good and
therefore there will be good.
Rather, getting out of depression is
understanding that you already have
good. There's nothing for you to be
depressed about. WHY? YOU'RE STILL IN.
YOU'RE STILL CONNECTED TO HASHEM. YOU
PRAYED. OKAY, YOU DIDN'T HAVE 95% OF THE
PRAYER, but you had it for 5%. You had
IT FOR 1%. YOU DIDN'T HAVE IT AT ALL
100%, BUT YOU STILL PRAYED. YOU STILL
SAID, YOU STILL SAID,
YOU STILL SAID,
you still OPENED THE BOOK AND READ A FEW
WORDS. YOU COMPLETED A SENTENCE. YOU
STILL WATCHED A FEW MINUTES OF A TORAH
CLIP INSTEAD OF THREE. YOU STILL DID
SOMETHING. YOU STILL SAID THE NAME OF
HASHEM and you believed that he's
actually LISTENING TO YOU. YOU HAVE TO
BE THE HAPPIEST PERSON ON PLANET EARTH
IF YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU JUST DID.
Andu is telling us
although there will be ups and downs
for the average person out there, you my
dear children should only have ups
because the moment you understand
the extraordinary nature and the
extraordinary gift
that we have to be able to say
to be able to say
to be able to bring people close to
Hashem even if those people are
ourselves.
The moment you understand the
significance of that, that should give
you enough happiness and excitement that
you'll be running around your whole
house excited for Shabbat on Monday.
You'd be excited for the MITZVAH OF THE
NEXT holiday a month before. You'd be
excited to give daka even if you could
barely make ends meet.
You'd be excited for every mitzvah.
You'd be excited that you're still in.
Even if it's by the skin of your teeth,
you're still in. You're still connected
to Hashem.
Now, be happy.
You have nothing to be depressed about.
And if you do that,
if you do that, you're not only
following in the footsteps of our
forefathers of,
but you're also going to get yourself
out of that depression instantly.
And in fact, you may even end up back
with that sweetness of Tawa before you
know it. Because once you appreciate
what you have,
you can then get to what you want.
This
was something that
I learned
and will continue having to
teach and learn throughout my entire
life like you do because whether it's
personal ups and downs or other people's
ups and downs, not a day goes by where
we don't yearn for more.
A person has to understand it's good to
be ambitious in every aspect of your
life especially when it comes to
religiosity
but don't mistake that ambition
with the ambition of the world
because when it comes to the ambition
and financials and things of that nature
person wants to reach the top of the
ladder has to be ambitious.
But in the world of Torah,
ambition is not enough.
Ambition is not enough. You have to know
what you have.
You have to recognize the good that you
already have. You have to be happy with
what you have. You have to do the will
of Hashem with as much excitement as you
possibly can. And it only becomes
possible once you understand how great
it is.
even if it's only a little bit in
comparison to what you used to do.
With that, we're going to start off with
a question that I'm going to ask you as
a popular
thing that we did in the past that
people like and lots of people
requested. I do it again.
Um,
I'll ask
I'll ask the question and you guys send

question. We all know that when you make
a blessing
for something to eat, to drink, somebody
that hears you says, "Amen."
Second thing we know is that you can
make a blessing
and somebody else can benefit out of it.
Meaning, let's say if you're both about
to eat bread and you're doing the
blessing of the bread,
they can also eat bread as a result of
listening to your uh blessing and you
thinking that you're fulfilling it for
on their behalf as well.
But what if there's this situation,
a person makes a blessing, two people
are listening,
one benefited out of it
and one did not.
How could that be?
They both were listening. They were both
intending for that blessing to be for
them.
Let's just say it's for bread or for
anything else.
One can eat as a result of that
blessing,
but the other one cannot.
How could it be?
Send me your answers
and
we'll get some interesting answers. You
know, it took a lot of time and effort
to study for this lecture and every
lecture changes my life a little bit and
I hope it does to you as well. If you're
enjoying it, please make sure to like,
subscribe, and share with people that
you care about, people that you know
could benefit from it. You may end up
changing their life. Thanks again for
learning with me and will continue
growing together. Now back to the
lecture.
So with that being said, you guys can
start asking some questions and will
give us the answers.
No, you don't have to give me the
answers now. Send them to me. Send them
to me. We'll give you guys until next
week to give me the answer.
I always had this question. Did the
malim eat or not eat?
Yes. Rashi says the malim ate
not because they needed to eat, not
because they're hungry, but rather not
to embarrass
for all the effort that he made.
It's a lot of comments, not questions.
So, if you guys could focus on the
questions, I appreciate the thank yous.
I appreciate the compliments.
Those of you that are criticizing
Why are you watching
Rabbi? Do you agree with Manis
Freiedman? No. Automatically I don't
agree with Manis Friedman on anything.
And your question directly do I agree
with Manis Freedman again is 12 months.
Not only do I not agree, anyone that
does agree with him is considered a aos,
a heretic that has no share of the world
to come. This in fact the Ramban writes
nearly 800 years ago. Someone that says
that gum is a maximum of 12 months only
is turning God into an evil god and is
considered a heretic. So to say that
someone that stole one gets the same
punishment as someone that stole a
hundred, someone that killed one gets
the same punishment as someone that
killed a hundred is not only
stupid, but it's evil.
They're turning God into an evil god. So
someone like Manis that teaches such
stupidity obviously he is a not only a
heretic but he's an amalit.
What's the best way to find a kosher
wife?
Step number one become a kosher person
yourself.
Meaning do complete cha work on your mid
to become the best version of yourself
servant of Hashem.
After you do that
page 2A says that will give you a wife
just like you. If you are a righteous
person he'll give you a righteous woman.
If a person is wicked Hashem will give
him a immodest woman. Why immodest and
not wicked? Because if she's immodest
certainly she's wicked. But if she's
modest it doesn't mean that she's
righteous. So, Hashem says that person
that's wicked gets a modest woman.
And don't think for a moment that people
that marry immodest women are happy. The
most miserable marriages you will ever
find in your life are marriages where
the woman is immodest. Why? Because our
husband always thinks she's cheating or
someone is going to steal her away from
him because everyone is looking.
So the uh and the only time the husband
doesn't care is because he's already
cheating.
If you're a Christian missionary, you
could just go to one of your pastors,
priests, or idols and ask them the
questions.
Don't uh missionize on uh our thread. We
don't go and missionize in your uh
place.
Rabbi, I want to convert to Judaism, but
I live in Brazil. And you answer that
Brazil does not do conversion. So my
question is, what can I do here in the
meanwhile? How should I study? Which
laws can I keep? Well, you have to
already plan your
way to leave the country and move to a
country that has a Orthodox community
with a bedina that does conversions
whether it's going to be uh Israel or
the United States, Australia, England,
Canada, there's certainly places that do
have it. Uh the second thing is you
could
continue studying um the things that
you'll need for conversion and keep 99%
of uh what you know throughout the
conversion process if you have a path to
conversion. But uh you have to be really
realistic with yourself that you really
do have a path to uh to move and to
convert and it's not something that will
never happen.

Where in Job does Job mention of Ram?
Google does not know.

No, they lived at two different times.
This is the oral Torah explains to us
what each thing was mentioned, what's
behind the scenes. It's not a not
everything is the uh written in the
written Torah. There is a written Torah
and there's an oral Torah.
So the uh story that I said today about
Job being told by Hashem that he wasn't
even half he didn't do as half as much
as Aam is not literally in the book of
Job like you would expect like the rest
of the story of Job. But that's part of
the oral Torah the commentary on it that
our sages told us which is in several
places. The source that I brought you
today's in a seph called Rabatan
which was written at the time of the
Mishna about 2,000 years ago.
A friend of mine did chuva. He has
concerns that in shidim families
won't accept him since he's a b cha.
What would you say? If a family wouldn't
accept him because he's a bouva, then he
shouldn't accept them either.
You Why would you want to marry into a
family that does not accept bal? It's
like marrying into a family that does
not accept converts or marrying into a
family that does not accept Hashem or
does not accept a kosher or does not
accept any other of the major things in
Judaism. It's like marrying into a
family that calls itself religious but
they violate Shabbat on a regular basis
by driving to Shu. So somebody that
doesn't accept Bal Shuva is somebody
that does not accept the Torah and does
not believe in a Torah. they are uh
simply secular people with a keep on.
So if they don't accept him, that means
Hashem did him a kindness by keeping him
away from something that he was a trap
that he almost fell into.

Okay.
What should Jews in New York City do
now? Chuva.
Have the souls that have reincarnated

Some. Yes, of course.
Okay, let's see.

Aside from Gom and Cafella, there are
places called Akra

places. You're talking about different

uh there are different names, different
uh madim different uh chambers in gum.
It's not a different place. It's just a
within the same place.
If you want to know the names of each
mad, you can go to the

is the fact that Madani Mani won because
of the prophecy that Ishmael will take
over the world before Msiah comes.
Hashem didn't send me a uh a WhatsApp
message about that one about whether he
won because of that or that. But I could
tell you that the already says in that
if does not do chuva and bring the
mashiach in a good way then hashem will
send him a leader like ham
uh that will force them to do chuva. Now
I don't think that mani is uh has that
such a power like ham at this stage but
uh don't think for a moment that uh any
other leader that uh can't turn into
that. I mean we're seeing what's
happening in Israel. We're seeing what's
happening in America. Um, Manny is just
another puppet in the hands of Hashem
and Hashem was going to allow him to do
what Hashem wants him to do. And if that
means to rebuke the Jewish people, then
that's what it's going to be. If that
means to bring blessings to them, then
that's what it's going to be. That's why
says um
when hem is pleased with uh someone even
his enemies will come say I'm sorry and
want to make peace with him
is it because the cash advance business
sins certainly the cash advance business
is not bringing any merits to Israel and
is certainly bringing more problems to
Israel. If you look at history
uh and I've discussed this in my
lectures and discussed this in the film
organ
it's also discussed in the uh book uh by
Robert Fryot
the section about the cash advance
business we brought many historical
facts whether it's from the time of
where outlawed lending money with
interest to Jews and non-Jews uh the
Torah already outlaws to Jews but he
outlawed it to charge interest to
non-Jews
or it's the time of the destruction of
the betdash or it's the time of the uh
uh horrible things that happened in uh
England in the 1100s or the uh different
pilgrims uh and massacres in France or
in Morocco or the French inquis the um
Spanish Inquisition or the uh Nazi
Germany holocaust. Um, all of these
disasters that happened to the Jewish
people over the last couple thousand
years
have a common denominator
where the number one business that the
Jewish people were prospering in right
before the disaster hit was lending
money with high interest. And you could
check the facts. We put them in the
book. We put them in our lectures. We
gave dates. We gave numbers. We gave
names. Uh so it's it's it's a fact. So
the cash advance business is what it's
called today. But lending money to go
with high interest has been around for
and causing disasters to am for
thousands of years. And it's always been
used as a pretext as an excuse for the
uh for the nations to hate us. Every
single time we had a disaster. If you
look at what the enemy said about the
Jewish people of why they hated them,
this was always at the top of the list.
The Jews charge us high interest. Uh and
so it's the fact that we are making the
same mistake again. And uh the uh
highinterest lending, usery business,
destructive, predatory lending is uh the
uh one of the most popular businesses
uh today uh that Jews are a part of. is
it not only a disgrace uh but is simply
a uh disregard to history. And you know
it's it's bizarre to me bizarre to me
that people have the audacity to still
mourn over the Holocaust saying never
again while repeating the same mistakes
again.
It's literally it's it's it's the most
bizarre thing in the world. It's bizarre
to me that rabbis uh from every
community are not speaking against it. I
mean, I know why they're not because
it's either they're scared of their
community firing them or they're scared
of losing the taka that built their
yeshiva or built their synagogue. Either
way, shows that uh people are clueless.
There are cases where people are not
aware of how bad it is. Uh so to give
them cuffs, not everyone is aware of how
bad it is, but nonetheless, anyone that
has ever learned about that business for
more than five minutes knows that it's a
predatory business and it's clearly
against Alaka. Uh and uh it's
unfortunately something that has brought
the Jewish people a lot of uh a lot of
blood was spilled because of that
business over the years. And
unfortunately uh that same mistake is
being repeated again.
So whether Hashem sent an evil uh leader
to be uh you know in a place where there
are more Jews than anywhere else in the
United States. Um certainly it's a uh
possibility. Certainly it would make
sense. Uh but again this is not the only
issue we have. We have many issues we
have to fix. There are many things that
we need to do chuva for. I think that
the uh the both the religious community
and the non-religious community has
problems they need to work on. The
obviously the non-religious community of
course has to do chuva above all but the
religious community also has to do chuva
for for a lot of different things. One
of the things that the religious
community um simply ignores is the
reality that the majority of am is not
keeping Shabbat. And guess what? the
religious community will be punished for
that. If you look at the Shabbat page
52, 53, 54, 55, there's a whole uh
section about it
tells us clearly that when he destroyed
the beta mikdash, he punished the
religious community first because they
did not rebuke the rest of the nation to
do chva. So the problem is not the
non-religious people. The problem is the
religious people not caring that their
cousin, their brother, their neighbor,
their uh you know their their fellow Jew
is not observing Shabbat. And how do you
know that they don't care? Simple. You
see how much the religious communities
donate to support causes that they care
for? Whether it's uh feeding a poor or
building another building for the
community or another mikvet or uh
remodeling of a mikvet or uh or whatever
a million and a half other causes. You
compare all of those different causes in
comparison to how much people actually
invest into Kiru and you see that
there's no comparison. In fact, there
are literally people that would watch
our lectures for years years and still
refuse to invest into kiru like
stinginess that is beyond uh
comprehension. It's a disease. It's a
it's a spiritual defect. So I see it
also with the with the uh kiru bucks.
It's another thing that I see is that uh
literally I I'm look always looking for
sponsors to make these things free
because not because people are lacking
for money. People are spending hundreds
of thousands if not millions of dollars
to get themselves houses, second houses.
Average person is spending in America,
you know, 50, 100, $200,000 on cars,
jewelry. People are not lacking money. I
mean there was a recent uh uh you know
group of uh people that had a whole
podcast about talking about the
financials of the Jewish community and
you see like literally there are many
many that are doing extremely well
making you know a lot of money but yet
if you look if you ask those same people
are you willing to spend 100 bucks to
get uh you know $1,000 to get 10 of
these or 100 bucks a unit so oh yeah let
me think about it let me think about it
now if you ask the same person are you
willing to spend $50,000 $20,000 on a
new watch or on a new ring or on
basketball tickets or uh or something
else, they wouldn't even think about it
for two seconds. Two seconds.
But when it comes to kiru, there's a
very very big stinginess
and uh that is going to be a very very
big problem for people for religious
people. Why? Because the taught
which we actually learned together a
couple of series of
one of the times the told and several
other students that were there listening
that the people that will uh be punished
the worst at the time of Msiah are uh
wealthy Jews that did not donate uh the
what they were supposed to to publicize
Hashem's name and to uh get people to do
chva. So it's a again this is not a
wealthy people problem this is a a n
national problem everyone has something
everyone has the ability you know people
ask me about you know financial things
personal things all types of things and
one of the things that uh makes people
uncomfortable
if I ask them you know any questions
when they ask me for guidance whether
it's a uh married children uh the uh
what do you do for a living do you keep
Shabbat not wasting seed personal things
intimate things people don't have a
problem sharing information in fact many
people volunteer all that information
but if I ask people do you give mas
automatically there's a major pause
people very uncomfortable why number one
because they don't they don't give masel
they don't even give close to mel and
number two internally they know it's
wrong but they don't want to do it why
because they like themselves more They
rather they rather they rather invest
the money in buying a second house uh
remodeling more shoes, more uh
vacations, more camps. That's what they
rather. So I think that when it comes
down to uh to our biggest problem today,
uh the fact that people do not realize
that Kiru should be at the top of every
single person's list of investments in
their life. Top number one and if so
long as a person does not make it their
top they simply do not uh understand
what why we're in even in this world
uh should Jews leave New York
if they don't like it leave
I mean as far as if they think that
running away from New York is going to
help them
[snorts]
zen is a I mean it's not a uh if Hashem
wants to bring somebody problems, he'll
bring them problems wherever they are.
They could be in New York. They could be
in Cancun. They could be in uh you know
on the top of the moon, they could be uh
you know on a beach. Doesn't make a
difference. If Hashem wants to send
somebody problems, I'll send them
problems. If Hashem wants to send
somebody protection, I'll send them
protection. That's actually one of the
things that we learn uh you know in this
week's where
decides this week that is going to be
who uh we're going to bless ourselves by
when we see the uh you know we say uh
that
is the shield of why why this why this
language because the midrash says that
was crying to hashem when there was no
guests and was crying to Hashem that
saying you have been my m you have been
my shield you what shield when when you
saved me from from the fire where they
threw me into the fire you know all of
the difficulties throughout my life uh
you have always been my shield so Hashem
said you said I'm your shield I will be
your shield and also the shield of your
descendants so we say again of a was
thrown into the fire and Hashem
protected him if Hashem wants to protect
somebody he'll protect somebody if
Hashem wants to uh you says decrees that
it's time to harm somebody, it'll harm
somebody. It doesn't matter where they
live. Um, and you know, I think that uh,
you know, the amount of efforts that
people have uh, invested into politics
uh, truly shows how little they believe
in Hashem and his power. Because if
people understood um who runs the world,
they wouldn't invest even even a uh you
know five minutes
on politics. Uh it's it's a complete
waste of time. And this is a clear
example of it where so many people
invested to try to uh uh get this guy
not elected or whatever it is or to you
know and obviously Hashem said
otherwise.
Hashem said otherwise.
runs the world.
The heart of leaders is in the hands of
Hashem. Shem decides who's going to do
and who's not going to do

>> I've been in no hide for about five
years, yet a month now.
I have had a I've had bad dreams
relating to being asked to reject
idolatry.
I've not wavered in my beliefs. Any
advice?
watch some Torah before you go to sleep,
pray to Hashem to give you better
dreams.
But a dream where you're rejecting
idolatry, it's not necessarily a bad
dream. It's a test of life.
Unlike a Jew that if uh somebody, you
know, uh threatens them either to accept
idolatry or die, a Jew is obligated to
die.
say that a non-Jew is not obligated to

It's of course I'm but nonetheless it's

the company that was supposed to

anti-semitic company that fired me for

dollar contract that I mentioned before.
Okay.
[sighs]
Thank you for the lecture.
What is
the significance of celebrating PES
prior to the exodus of Egypt?
Well, the have been part of the Torah
since creation. The
um says that
first he created the Torah and then he
created the world and he used the Torah
as a blueprint for the world. And as
says it's a uh um Hashem looked into the
Torah.
He created the world. Now
that means that the mitzvot of all of
the holidays, all of the, you know, the
things that we do were already in
existence before uh the Exodus before
the uh is existed. Uh whether it's or
the love and
or it's anything else, that's all been
part of the Torah well before existence.
And the uh says that the avot
they kept and the 12 tribes and of
course they they kept the Torah
completely they kept the Torah uh and uh
they uh they observed the Torah. There
is an interesting z that says that since
uh the um tells us that a non-Jew is
forbidden from keeping Shabbat
and technically there was no Judaism
uh before uh before Mount Sai. Uh so uh
technically we're not allowed to keep
Shabbat 100%. So what do they do in
order to violate Shabbat? uh the Abrainu
wrote the
and in there there is instructions of
how to create things
and therefore
would create a cow every Shabbat
as their mel of in essence their way of
violating Shabbat and not keeping it
100%. In fact, one of the places that we
learned from is in this week's para
where it says that Abrainu gave uh uh
gave the three guests gave these three
angels
the food and it was milk and meat.
It was milk and meat he gave them. So,
how could it be that he kept the entire
Torah but yet he gave them milk and
meat?
How could it be? The answer is if you
look it says that gave them the uh the
uh the cow that he made the calf that he
made. What does it mean that he made
says that he made that he literally made
with the so therefore it's not
considered meat. It's not considered
meat. It's it's it's a calf.
They ate it tastes like meat but it's
not considered meat because it wasn't
born in a natural way. It was created by
a from the dust. So therefore they were
allowed to eat milk and this uh let's
just call it uh uh cababalistic meat.
made.
Yeah. So it says here in chapter 18
verse number eight.
It says, "And he took cream and milk and
the calf which he had prepared
uh and placed these before them and he
stood over them beneath the tree and
they ate." Now the word assa
uh it's translated here literally as
prepared but assa al actually means made
like created.
Uh so and as says this uh uh Abra made
the uh the calf
literally
No, like I said, I don't think that the
problem
that is bringing bad decrees to such as
this government or anti-semitism
is uh the fault of the uh intermarriage
or Shabbat of the majority of Israel. I
think that there is a bigger uh decree
coming because of the religious people
uh that are not doing Kiru, not
supporting Kiru, not helping their
brother uh uh their sister Duchvaha. In
fact, there's so much hatred uh between
religious people to each other
because one of them is not Ashkinazi
enough and one of them is not spari
enough and one of them is not lit enough
and one of them is not rich enough and
not poor enough and not from their
community enough and not wig enough and
not enough and not prayer enough and
nobody's enough for them and people
literally hate each other while they
smile at each other and they talk about
each other after. There's a lot of
and uh between the religious community
and the and and each other as well as
complete disregard to the majority of
the nation. It's uh that it's not
keeping. So if you look at the sources,
you look at the
you look at the uh you look at literally
across the board, you'll see that
punished is because of the behavior of
the religious people.
Now, of course, the non-religious, the
idolattors, the the people, you know,
many of them will destroy it, you know,
if they didn't do chuva. But the decree
came when the religious people failed
failed to help the non-religious do
chuva. So if a person is uh upset about
the uh what's happening in the world now
with anti-semitism with everything
that's happening um and they want to
point a finger uh they should look at
the mirror. Look at the mirror. What
have you done
to sacrifice
today, yesterday, plan for tomorrow
to help Amisucha?
And that person said, "Well, you know, I
I gave out some books or I uh I donated
last month or I donated six months ago."
So, if Hashem would, you know, said to
you, "Okay, so I gave you air to breathe
six months ago. That's enough for you.
don't need anymore. Now a person has to
understand that the responsibility to
help our brothers do chuva to for us to
do chuva to stop hating each other to
stop you know uh uh simply uh doing
things that are against the Torah is
every day there's an obligation every
day and if a person is more concerned
about their uh their their house and
their car and their jewelry and their
clothing than they are about their
fellow Jews than They have their
priorities wrong.
They have to fix that. They have to do
true by themselves.
Yes, the pursuit says meat and dairy
together, but like I explained, it
wasn't regular meat.
How to cope with anti-semitism.
By doing chuva, a person is not only
starting to keep Shabbat and starting to
watch, but a person starts developing a
closer relationship with Hashem and
understanding that there's nothing else
but Hashem. The more person understand
that there's nothing else but Hashem,
the more they have, the more they'll
understand also that no one can help you
and no one can hurt you if it's not the
will of Hashem. In regards to the vast
majority of places around the world
right now as we speak, it's not exactly
the Holocaust, but so most Jews could
live in peace generally speaking. Yes,
there's more terrorism. Yes, there's
more anti-semitism and protest and so
on, but generally speaking, uh we could
still live freely in most places around
the world. Um
now,
so to the the uh the um Israel did not
go out and say everyone must leave XYZ
city or country right this second, you
know, about places that have
anti-semitism because number one, it's
not all the time and it's not
everywhere.
uh but at the same token uh people have
to also evaluate their own situation. If
they feel endangered in the place that
they live because there's more
anti-semitism over there uh then
certainly they should leave leave and go
somewhere else. Go to a different Jewish
community somewhere else. Uh where
there's less danger um that's number
one. Number two is to do a do a
selfacounting to see what am I doing to
bring more of Hashem's name and his
Torah to the world because that's the
only thing that could destroy
anti-semitism.
Politics are never going to defeat
anti-semitism. Money is never going to
defeat anti-semitism.
uh you know a uh the uh the uh all the
YouTube videos uh that people say never
again and or they highlight anti-semites
are not going to stop anti-semitism. The
only thing that is going to stop
anti-semitism is simply getting more
people to do chuva publicizing Hashem's
name in his in the world. That's what
stops anti-semitism. If you look at all
of history, all of history, the greatest
times that AmI has had, whether it was
at the time of
or
the a few other times throughout
history,
uh is when is
glued to the Torah and
submissive to the
whatever the said, that's what we did.
Those were the greatest times is worst
times for Isla.
When we went against the Torah, when we
simply worried about uh materialism,
when people thought that everything is
in their hands, they invested into
becoming part of the political system of
Greece or a political system in uh Spain
or political system in Germany. And uh
to my knowledge and according to
history, not only it didn't help us, but
it actually brought more damage on is
all of this political involvement. So
anti-semitism is not defeated by money
and politics. Anti-semitism is defeated
by bringing more light of Torah to the
world, which translates into more Jews
do chuva, more Jews doing mitzvot, more
Jews following. That's what brings light
to the world. That's why we're called
Queen, the light to the nations.
All right.
A friend asked me, I love those
questions about the friends. Friend
asked me when they could consider
themselves fully ready for
when they're ready to get married.
>> [sighs]
[snorts and clears throat]
>> Well, what should a Jew do if he's asked
someone for forgiveness more than three
times and asked before Yamipur to no
avail? Is there more we can do to attain
someone's forgiveness? It depends. If
the person that you hurt is a regular
person, you don't have an obligation to
say I'm sorry more than three times. But
if it's a thousand times is not enough.
Thousand times. If it requires a
thousand times, you do a thousand times.
So if it's but if it's just a regular
person, three times is enough. They
don't want to forgive you. Move on with
your life.
I understand that some people are not
willing to move on with their life. They
want the forgiveness.
So you have to simply let uh time pass.
Let time pass and uh also do things to
improve yourself to show this person
that you've changed. Not just say you're
going to change, that you've improved,
not just say you improve and uh you know
and go go that way. But to be honest
with you, I would not recommend that
anybody
um change for the sake of others and
improve for the sake of others. You
should always change for the sake of
yourself and improve for the sake of
yourself. Because if you do it for
others and they don't forgive you, then
you'll give up everything and you'll go
back and become even worse than you were
in the past. But if you do it for
yourself, then either way you benefit.
Whether they accept you or they don't,
you still benefit because you did it for
yourself. You become better for
yourself.
What are the six letters in the Torah
that are different but are the same but
have the same meaning? Why does this
exist? is a uh usually it's the uh place
where you could have one or the other
where you could have a spelling of uh
the word with a ud or without a ude and
instead just have a instead of a yud or
an al if and no alf because the sound
could stay the same uh or a vav or
instead of the vav it could beam. So
there are
um words that can be spelled in multiple
ways. Uh and those are the places where
you have it.
As far as why it exists throughout the
last 3,000 years,
um the Jewish people have gone through a
little bit of trouble and uh especially
the last 2,000 years. And in fact, the
fact that there's only six letters that
distinguish the Safari and Ashkanazi
uh Torah scroll that has over 304,85
letters uh shows the legitimacy and
authenticity that we've preserved over
the generations. If you compare that to
let's say the New Testament that's only
a couple thousand years old or the Quran
that's only about 1400 years old, they
have literally tens of thousands and in
some cases over a hundred thousand
different variations. Uh so the
distinguishing factor between the uh the
three uh versions we have uh is this
handful of letters. Uh everyone knows
that the Yemenite version is the right
one, but no one is willing to um
take the uh risk of being wrong and
therefore all of them are accepted. All
of them are uh are good uh and um all of
them are uh have the same exact meaning.
It's just again specific spelling of
certain words which does not change the
meaning of the sentence.
How can I get other women to go to the
mikvet? I'm trying. Do you have any
videos on the mikvet? I could send them.
Yeah, it's on the channel. Go to the
YouTube channel. Type the words mikvet
or family purity. There's a few videos
there about it.
There's one film
uh about it also. Two films actually.
Can you send it to me? No. Go to YouTube
and uh get it.
If you can type on uh YouTube, then you
know where YouTube the channel is. go to
the YouTube channel
and uh type those words in the search
box and you'll find it.
Or if you subscribe to uh to the AI
Rabbi app that we have,
uh then uh you could save yourself the
time and you could just simply ask the
AI rabbi where that video is or a
question about mikvet or any other topic
you have and AI rabbi will give you a
response with sources which will include
the videos of where I spoke about it and
exactly where I spoke about it. Uh the
main thing I use for example I use AI
rabbi for is to find specific times
where I spoke about specific things spec
you know so um we need it for different
reasons some people sometimes it's part
of answers or whatever um so it's a
great great uh uh tool for people that
uh want sources.
Yeah. But the AI rabbi costs money.
Yeah. So does gasoline. So does
internet. So does electricity. So does
food. So does this book. So does
everything. If you're not willing to
invest money into Torah that's going to
help your life, even if it helps your
life once a year and you're not willing
to spend a subscription fee for it, then
you have your priorities right uh wrong.
You have you don't understand the value
of Torah. Even if the Arab, if you only
use the Arab once a year, it's still
worth a whole year subscription.
Needless to say, if you use it once a
week, a couple times a day, it's worth
it. The people that actually use it,
usually literally they uh they end up
upgrading it because they like it so
much, they end up going over the uh the
minimum subscription. But the point is,
people don't understand the value of
Tawa. In fact, actually, you know what?
I have I have a story from today. I have
a story for him today. Somebody um
told one of my students that uh
this generation is you know all the
agreed that this generation everyone's
ach
and uh my talid told them no that's not
true my rabbis taught me and uh this
person
um sent them sources
sources
and my students sent it to me. Now,
I not only I learned Torah, but I'm
relatively familiar with technology. So
within about I would say half a second
half a second I don't think it was a
full second I knew that not only is the
uh response that uh this information
that my student got wrong but I also
knew that it was AI. How do I know it's
AI? uh aside from the fact that it
simply invented things that don't exist,
sources that don't exist. One of the
things that AI is uh you know, if people
use it for Torah and it's not AI rabbi
uh and let's say they use chat GPT or or
one of the other LLMs out there, one of
the things that AI likes to do is use
emojis,
little emojis in their responses. And uh
it's very funny, entertaining uh but
it's not going to help you in your Torah
life. So, if people are using Chat GPT
or or uh Claude or any of the other LLMs
that are out there for their Torah
questions, uh they're simply asking for
u directions to gan because they will
give you the wrong answers and you will
not know it's the wrong answers because
the these AI uh models are trained in
such a way where they will invent
answers. They will tell you that Raadya
said certain things or Raf Khani said
certain things or the Rambam said
certain things that never existed.
They'll even give you page numbers that
don't exist.
Don't exist. Uh so on the other hand
with our AI rabbi it's a world of
difference because we actually not only
give you the explanation of the answer
we give you the source itself. like you
actually can click on the link that
takes you to the source itself whether
it's Mutapi or Ra or whatever or one of
my or whatever it is. So many people are
using uh these uh LLMs for their Torah
questions and they don't realize that
they're getting the wrong answers and
the reason why they don't realize is
because um they're getting sources and
they just don't know that the sources
don't exist. Sources don't exist. So
today I got one of those. It was a
relatively long answers with a bunch of
different sources and um this answer is
wrong. And I spoke to this person. And I
said, "No, look writes in
in the 10th volume in
section 55
uh in
11 that uh somebody that knows
of Judaism,
sees religious people, synagogues, but
still continues to drive on Shabbat is
not considered
and they're considered an idol
[clears throat] worshipper. This is
clear language of Rabf.
So when this person um heard this
obviously they uh did not like the
answer uh but they understood they were
wrong. But again understanding that
you're wrong and accepting that you're
wrong are two different things. Needless
to say we learned a couple of things
from the story. Number one, sometimes a
person that thinks they're helping um by
being more merciful on others is not
helping at all. Um
in fact, there is a statement by that uh
is is very scary where it says that a
person um makes the uh wicked righteous
and the righteous wicked. Uh Gamn. Both
of them are considered disgusting in the
eyes of Hashem.
So sometimes people think that they're
being kind and gracious by simply
passing out, you know, a get out of jail
free card to an entire generation. They
don't realize that they're not helping
anybody, including those wicked people
that are going against Hashem. The
second thing is we learned is that just
because somebody provides you sources
does not mean you should believe it. You
have to check the source because in
today's world where 90% of the material
that you see out there being generated
today is uh created by AI uh it's
becoming harder and harder to believe uh
what's real and what's not. That's why
having the hard copy real books is
always going to be an obligation and a
priority. Um so AI and other technology
is good tool to help you but it's never
the foundation and never will be the
foundation. It's always going to be
books, hard copy books. So even though
somebody gives you an answer and it
shows a source, check the source. Check
the actual book itself or a source that
actually has the book itself. Uh because
many times you'll see that they don't
exist. Sources simply do not exist. AI
literally invents it from nothing. It'll
tell you that Roadya wrote this in
or one of the other Greek uh over 50
books that he wrote and he wrote this in
this section and you go to that section
you have the book at home you open the
section you say not only he didn't write
it that section does not exist doesn't
exist and many other not but AI is
certain about it but then you tell the
AI no you're wrong this doesn't exist
where's AI say oh you're right it
doesn't exist just
[laughter]
has no fear. It doesn't care. It's not
going to go to gay. AI is not going to
gain. The person that's going to listen
to AI uh that gives a mistake is going
to go to Gum though. Um now you're going
to say, "Oh, why would Hashem do that?
Who told you to use the AI of Gim
instead of get the AI of Jews? Who who
told you? Who who told you to do that?"
Yeah. You know, so the point being is
we learned that just because somebody
provides you sources does not mean that
you are, you know, absolved from
doublechecking.
And number three, uh we learned that
having the book is of absolute must and
obviously knowing the book, learning the
book is of absolute must because when
theos will come to you at some point in
your life, you have an obligation to
give him an answer. Even if theos
doesn't know he's an aos, even if he
doesn't mean to be an aikos,
you have to know the answer. So when you
have the answers, you know, okay, I'm
sorry. What you're saying is wrong.
It's something else and here's the
source and here's the information
and that's it. There's uh uh we made it
easy for you guys by, you know, creating
this AI rabbi. But that's not supposed
to be the end all be all for anybody.
It's supposed to be a helper, a helper,
you know. So you still need to learn
from books, you still need to learn from
the lectures, you still need to do
everything else.
Are drugs a sin in the Torah? Yes, drugs
are a sin at all.
I just upgraded my AI plan.
Honestly, I recommend a lot of people do
the annual plan uh because it saves you
money. Also, if you're going to use it,
you get it for the annual plan. I
usually do that with all my
subscriptions that I have. If I know I
like it and I use it, I uh usually pay
for the year. Save 10, 20, 30%.
Yeah.
All right. What advice would you give
to someone who wants to avoid
overhearing in the workplace? How could
I shut down others respectfully
who speak it? Uh there's a couple of
ways. One, you could put headphones on
and not listen to it. Uh number two, you
could simply change the conversation.
Uh number three, you could tell them you
have to go to the bathroom. Uh number
four, you could tell him you have a
meeting.
Uh number uh five. Tell one second. One
second. And just don't come back. Uh you
could do a lot of things. It's a lot of
things. You have to be creative.
Are you an Orthodox Jew? Yes, I am an
Orthodox Jew.
>> [sighs]
>> What do you think of the New Testament?
I think it's a perfect tool that will
lead people to gay.
Uh it's a book of idolatry and the Torah
tells us clearly that idolatry is hated
by Hashem. And uh I've tried to help as
many people as possible over the last 10
years and we'll continue to try to help
as many people as possible to uh abandon
the teachings of that book and uh go
towards uh hem by learning his and only
his theorah and the and the oral.
If you want to know more details, you
can go to my channel,
the YouTube channel, and type in the
search box New Testament. And I have
several lectures, at least a half a
dozen lectures about the different uh
mistakes that are in the uh New
Testament and um the um
hypocrisy, ridiculousness,
falsehood that's in it. Uh and um it's
as clear as day. you could find it. I
give quotes. I give specific verses.
What is your YouTube channel? I want to
learn. Go to my YouTube channel. It's
Rabbi Yuron Ruven. Rabbi Rab BBI
and then Y A R O N and then R EU ven.
Rabbi your own Ruven. just like the name
of my profile on Tik Tok or on uh
Facebook. Um go to Rabbi your own Ruven
on the YouTube. I have many channels but
are in different languages. Russian,
French, Arabic. Go to the English
channel, Spanish, there's a bunch of
them. go to the English channel and over
there go to the search, type in the uh
subject that you're interested in and
it'll give you all the lectures that
I've made over the years about that
subject. And uh I promise you if you
watch those lectures that I've made
about the New Testament, about
Christianity, you will be convinced
without a shadow of a doubt that not
only is Christianity falsehood, but the
Torah is the truth. And you will thank
me for the rest of your life. I've
helped many people. I even helped a uh
Christian missionary that came to
missionize
uh to to try to convince me to abandon
Judaism and uh instead I showed her the
uh different things about the New
Testament uh in my lectures and so on
and uh she ended up converting to
Judaism.
So, so it's uh it's it's not uh it's not
things I invented. These are teachings
from other great that have researched
things and uh it's been a uh
it's been available to people for
throughout all of the generations. It's
just that most people don't double
check. They just believe uh their uh the
teachings of their parents and their
household. Uh and the good news is that
today it's very easy to search. It's
very easy to research and double check.
Double check your beliefs because your
eternity depends [clears throat] on it.
Don't believe something just be because
people told you. Check. Check. That's
why you I every time in my lectures I
give people not only the things that I
come out, I give you sources. I give you
the verse number, the book name, uh you
know, all the details so you can double
check and see that what I'm saying is
actually in a book and not something
that's my opinion.
So the same thing goes with those
lectures about Christianity or Islam uh
where I talk about the Quran. There's
actual verses from their book, from the
New Testament of the Quran that I bring
that shows that prove the point. It's
not proving it from our books. It's
proving it from their books that it's
false, that it's hypocrisy, that it's
idolatry, and so on. Um so you go check
for yourself and you'll see
All right, we'll take one last question.
Is another who keeps some kash
considered stealing spiritual
inheritance?
[sighs]
If you're keeping kosher just because
you like that particular food, there's
no problem. But if you're keeping kosher
because you think it's it's a mitzvah,
then you're simply making a mistake. I
mean, there's plenty of food that's
kosher and is available for for
everybody. Um, there's no obligation for
a non-Jew, for a no-hide to uh to eat
kosher or to eat non-coosher. Eat
whatever you want. Uh, but if you're
going to keep specific laws of Torah
because you think it's a mitzvah for
you, then it's considered stealing
because it's not a mitzvah for you. For
example, non-Jews that keep Shabbat
because they think it's a mitzvah for
them. It's not a mitzvah for them. It's
stealing. It's a sin. Uh but for a Jew
to keep it, it's a mitzvah. Now, if a if
a uh if you want to keep the mitzvot,
then convert to Judaism.
But there's no problem of a non-Jew
eating kosher food. It's just that
again, what's the reason behind it? Is
it because you like the food?
Uh or because you think it's spiritual
elevation? If it's the latter, it's a
mistake.
Well, is it permitted for a Jew to have
social media for work? I'm asking
specific because I use it to speak to
clients for my job. I have it on
professional mode for business. Uh, yes,
of course. If you are using it for
business purposes, then sure, there's no
problem of you having it. The problem
with social media is not the tool
itself. The problem with social media is
what how people use it. Right now, I'm
using social media. I'm using Facebook.
I'm using uh uh YouTube. I'm using t uh
Tik Tok. Uh I'm using WhatsApp. I'm
using multiple uh things for for social
media. And I don't have any problem
looking at things uh you know because
I'm right now I'm looking at only kosher
things and I don't use social media you
know for any other purpose other than
giving lectures uh or to share
information. And I have a whole team of
people that share our lectures and our
different things all over social media.
And I always tell them uh what I tell
you guys in the lectures, which is when
you're going to go to Facebook or to Tik
Tok or to YouTube, wherever it is, you
know, for the sake of Kiru, uh go or
even for sake of work, go do what you
have to do. Share and leave. Go, share,
leave. Don't spend your time searching
around, socializing, reading people's
posts and all that stuff. Go share the
lecture, leave, share, leave. Like a
sniper, go share, leave. And again, the
same thing for for business purposes,
uh, LinkedIn and other social medias,
Facebook, whatever. Uh, if it's you have
to sell your products or you have to
market your products or you have to
communicate with people for the purpose
of your job, there's no problem doing
that. There's no problem. The problem is
not business. business is per, you know,
is is is okay. Uh Torah is okay. What's
the problem? The problem is the things
that are forbidden, which is looking at
pornography, looking at immodesty, you
know, being part of uh unethical things,
illegal things. The problem is the
obvious things. So, but that's not just
with social media, that's with anything.
That's with phones, that's with a uh uh
you know, all tech all technology.
That's even with your car. Even with
your car, I could give you an example.
When I use my car, when I use my car, I
use my car to go places that I need to
go to. So, for example, to go pick up
mail, I usually go once a week to go
pick up mail. Sometimes I don't have
time for that. So, I do once every
couple weeks, but usually it's once a
week.
And I go with my car and I drive the
car. And you guys think I'm silly right
now telling you how I drive my car, but
this is what I do. I drive the car and I
get to the mailbox and sometimes I go to
the bank if I need to or run some type
of an errand and then I take the car
again and I go home. That's it. Now,
when I see other cars that are on the
road, I follow the traffic laws.
That's what I do.
So, if there's somebody ahead of me and
he's slowing down, which is indicated by
the red lights that are, you know,
becoming uh turned on, then I slow down.
Now, this may sound odd to you guys that
I'm explaining this to you if you know
how to drive. But what I found out today
when Rab Fry was being uh uh returning
from a lecture that he gave,
he was uh being driven and there was
another person in the car and they were
driving from that place back to Yushim
where Robert Fry lives and next to them
on the you know on the uh uh road was a
uh group of uh terrorists
and those terrorists
I don't know the terrorists. Do I know
their name? Do they have bandanas say
I'm a terrorist? No, I don't know the
terrorists because at some point while
they were driving, following the laws,
there was no other cars on the road.
There's no other reason to to do
anything.
At some point, they intentionally tried
to run them over and run into their car.
Not even like cut them off, like
literally run into their car
and make a whole accident. and do a
suicide uh uh accident.
So, so from here what do we learn from?
Number one, we learn that there are
multiple uses for cars. You can use them
to be a normal civilized human being or
to be a terrorist.
Number two, you see that protects those
that he loves. Even if the terrorist
hates, Hashem loves, Hashem always wins.
That's number two. Number three, we
could also see that we could learn
mousar and lessons for life from
everything, including a story that I
just heard a few hours ago that almost
gave me a heart attack.
Hem is with us. Thank you very much for
learning with us. Hashem bless each and
every single one of you that's going to
learn, that's going to share, that's
going to support. Anyone that wants to
support can go to our website and donate
bezelm.org. You can also donate on
bhttora.org. You could also donate via
our YouTube channel. You can do a lot of
things. You could even send a check,
wire transfer, bitcoin, billions of
dollars, few dollars, whatever you want
to do. If you want to be part of this,
you're welcome. Regardless of all of
that, the most important thing about is
not only to listen to the lectures and
share them, but to apply them to your
life. Because if you're not applying it
to your life, what do we do here all
this time? Thank you very much. Call to
and we'll learn again next week.
We're finally here. The new Kiru box
opens up. Nice little cushion here.
We got
