reason then that in essence is the opposite of good if you have your son come to you and say IMA I failed every single test this semester can I get a present now you're laughing but there's some kids telling their parents that same exact thing and sometimes they get the present would you classify those parents as good parents or bad ones they're not such good parents if the kid failed every test you can't give him a present if you give a good present then all you're doing is enabling him to become a criminal because he thinks that failure is a good thing on the other hand if the kid says time that a mentions any type of punishment is's also a reward next to it but at the same token we see that the reward doesn't necessarily come easy now in last week's par we hear about it says heard people keeping kosher they don't have any money there's plenty of people that keep Shabbat they don't have any money there's plenty of people that keep and they broke so how can we keep telling this to people why do we keep telling people if you do what God says he'll give you a bunch of stuff he'll give you stuff give you a car give you give you give give give give give give it doesn't really work sometimes but not always it's not like a foolproof system but you know what does work for sure all the time telling people the truth even if it's inconvenient andu teaches us this in this week's that's the same thing it's actually worse cuz the ring you bought in the store some guy made it Shabbat God made it and he made it just for you now sometimes we think I keep Shabbat already Rabbi I'm religious so this half the selection it's not even for me wrong if your Shabbat is not the best day of the week and it's so good that you're already starting to prepare for it on Monday then how good is your Shabbat Shabbat is supposed to be a taste OFA a taste of meaning you're supposed to think of on Shabbat if you're not thinking of on Shabbat okay so you have some work to do too that means that all of us have an opportunity to take a small Mitzvah and turn it into the biggest mitvah that we could even imagine and that's one way that we can sanctify hashem's name and bring better judgment to not only ourselves but also to the nation but lastly since the lecture is not going to reach all of right now what do we do about the rest of us we heard the truth we heard what we need to do fine so a few hundred people here are going to do it a few thousand people are going to do it on the internet but everyone knows there's a lot more than just a few thousand Jews in the world now
