United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, ULY on Ocean Parkway #2- Front entrance to yeshiva, 1969 - RC Dalfin

I'm standing before the entrance to the United Lubavitcher Yeshiva on Ocean Parkway. Joseph F. Carlebach Youth Building because he paid, I believe, the property and built the building. And I spoke about this, it's already recorded on my YouTube channel. The Yeshiva has since gone through a transformation. It has really become beautiful new entrance. Steps, and I told you the story. I was here from the first day the Yeshiva opened in 1969, the first Friday. The buses, like they are here, buses waiting for the boys to come to take you back home. I ran down the steps, fell flat onto the pavement cuz it was wet cement. And came home, and my father wasn't happy cuz he put to put a mouthful. That was the first Friday after the Yeshiva opened. That week in in Elul, September 1969. Anyway, we'll go in now. This is my alma mater as far as my elementary and high school and Sifta.
