you almost can have a conversation
anymore today without somebody talking
about the horrors that are facing Christ
from our community and we used to think
we're immune from and every single
conversation you'll have with anybody of
substance it's going to come up horrific
stories about abuse about trauma about
addictions and everyone has the same
feeling about it that there must be
somebody who's dealing with it there's
got to be somebody there are people out
there who deal with it who are those
people you know you have these beings
are upon them they say we have to we
have to call the people that deal with
this who are those people who are the
ones that deal with it and what's scary
to me is that is an organization called
amudum and what they do all over the
world you talk about investing millions
and millions of dollars in research
creating programs and creating awareness
treatment plans treatment centers the
things they're doing is incredible
and so many people when they hear of it
they're like oh those are those people
that's the that situation they are the
ones that are doing them a lot
they're the ones that are doing the work
that really every one of us should be
doing everyone else has to be doing we
have to be involved but we can't we
can't the service that is going on the
level of Crisis and Trauma and abuse and
addiction is so it's so blown out of
it's not blown out of proportion and
spoken about it it's just ridiculous how
how large of a problem has become and
they are the ones that are there in the
Forefront dealing with it and anyone
that has the ability to help them you
owe it you owe it to them to help them
because really we should all be doing
their work they're doing it for us
they're doing the uncomfortable work
that we don't want to do they're dealing
with the cases that we don't want to
deal with or we can't deal with and
anyone who helps them anyone that that
actually rolls up their sleeves to help
them
not just for what they do for others but
you should be doing yourself
