Torah 103

Everyone today is looking for clarity. Who am I? What should I do? Where is my life going? And when you're desperate enough for answers, it becomes very easy to hand someone else the keys to your mind and your soul. This story says something powerful. The Gemara says that Torah is our inheritance. It's our yerusha. [music] And if a teacher holds back from Torah from the student, it's considered like he stole that student's yerusha. Moshe Rabbeinu says, >> [music] >> when he saw Bnei Gad and Bnei Reuven trying to influence the rest of Klal Yisrael not to enter Eretz Yisrael, he comes down very strong on them. Why? Because your influence matters. Who you learn from matters. >> [music] >> And who you allow to guide your thinking matters. Not everyone promising clarity is leading you somewhere you actually want to go. Hashem already gave us our inheritance. He gave us Torah, tefillah, the ability to ask, >> [music] >> to learn, and build clarity with Hashem. So, when you're confused, don't become desperate for a shortcut. Daven for clarity. Ask Hashem to guide you to the right people. Because the goal isn't just to get an answer. It's to make sure that the answer is bringing you closer to Hashem.
