Turn Friday into Erev Shabbos #69 - Shir Shel Yom

you can't believe it's one one day until the cost of [Music] it's a homework assignment not only for every day of the week but specifically i think most powerfully for friday it's not friday today is the sixth day it's almost only one more day to go all right let's go back to the end of the chapter we've been describing hashem everywhere [Music] how could you not want to sing and dancing in this transition from the weekdays with his responsibility from the weekday with his anxiety from the weekday with pressure from the weekday with his chaos and the week there was his to-do list and the foreign to be in the presence of the faith of hashem kabbalah take a moment to be mindful usually people are rushing in such chaos usually we're running usually trying to get it all done we're trying to complete everything that needs to happen but people are still making up the tide and tying their shoe and putting on their jacket and they're running they don't catch their breath until later that night but we're supposed to be ready and work backwards because this is the time of this is when i want to be ready because i need to be able to have a moment to catch my breath i want a moment of mindfulness i want a moment of meditation i want a moment of transition i want to know what it means i'm right now disconnecting so that i can connect to the source to what matters and when i disconnect disconnects from the noise disconnecting you know disconnecting technology just connecting with the zoo and we're all doing this we'll be there waiting for us after our belt but i'm going to disconnect the 25 hours and i'm going to connect back to my source back to the core back to the eight back to what matters that connecting that energy that i draw from from putting the i'm gonna put the charger in the socket in the outlet the charger that is an umbilical cord for us back to the reverse revolution there's you know there's the cord that we use the cord that we use to connect the phone the laptop and it signs up the battery is dying but we get to plug it in the wall so when it's plugged in the wall you'll already see it's coming back to life and that's the feeling of kabbalah we're plugging back into the source and the energy that's coming through exactly coming back to life that doesn't happen if you're running and running late it doesn't happen if you're chaotic it happens when your mind is what happens when you're intentional it's critically important to sing and his dance to recite the kabbalah [Music] with royalty providence it's that all of creation everything the masses without number of the source of it all is one i'm not living alone i'm not isolated as i welcome hashem in transition from the weekly shabbos surrounded by people and i say we're
