The second thing I think we're other
than working on ourselves and growing in
our midos and how we show up in the
world and how we engage in in
relationships with others is this idea
of true compassion to truly understand
the essence of compassion which I think
most people when they try to define it
for themselves will use some version of
empathy putting yourself in somebody
else's shoes but we see it a little bit
differently the way that Hindi and I
like to approach this and think about
the idea of compassion which again I
think is for all of us to learn in this
suga is the ability ability to sit in
the room listening to how somebody else
feels sometimes negatively about you
without trying to change it or fix it
for them. And as a parent, we just want
our kids to grow up and to have happy
and peaceful and successful lives. But
it's not for us to fix what's going on
for them. It's for us to be in it with
them without change. Not yet. Not until
they're ready and have communicated what
that change looks like.
