Township Unveils New Website

but I'm going to ask come up and give everybody our first L as of tomorrow uh will be available live and changes so please uh we ask everybody to please use the comment sections that are available on every page of the website help us to make it better and more active and more valuable to you as users um and you'll see lots of changes happening in the coming months our first strike is now thank [Music] you and businesses St appreciate aside from the mod design website a lot of features technology and information added to the website that we to go through this is the initial page of the webs you come to the IM iconic are of of label well information website um we're just going to briefly go through the website different sessions not go through details you idea what it is and I obviously spend the time do anyway um a little bit as welcome to the township below that on the homage is the upcoming Township events Township updates so constantly the township has ability to put information on there one of the important things that we did with this website be the township the ability to St each department has ability to make changes to the website so that the information W get stale we'll stay fres have a lot information on there that people can take advantage of the top of the website we have the alert support time there's something that not need to get out on the website post there right now Monday over July weekend be close one of the keys of the website was to make it EAS navigation make easy people to get through the website and take advantage of it we try to spend a lot of time doing that as a matter of fact we name the web address itself to easier now it's labor nj.com so the new website lab nj.com you can go to um nor way on the top of the website we have the typical um L for navigation you can split up six departments every you're going to uh on the right hand side with equipments for things that are most commonly as for come the website you can see it for birth certificates oray traffic tiets or right there at the ENT it and for those who can't find we have a search on top of the page putting in put in pickup results first one being in this case we ask question section answers for it follow by the uh for [Music] public for those who W following one of the main keys I'm not go over again with the east of navigation people get through the website and we made numerous different attempts to make this website uh easy for people to use so some of the areas that were mentioning now in the bottom of every single page there's a sub navigation site of all the Departments and all sessions of the websites anytime you look you can find it on the to is a search as as the game departments and a lot of pages have quick links which TR to find what most time the session I'm going to go quick just through a few pages just to get an idea and then we'll go from there the department session is the first section you come to the department section it provides categories each category has a little bit of description about which back you know to go to as well as as well as a bullet at the bottom letting you see which departments are in there so if you're looking for instance the U and you're not sure what where it would fall it's the theot EXA where it goes I'm click on the Economic Development which includes us just mentioned and this will take you to the economic development page with the specific Department that are in there again not going to focus on has description has also aler if anyone have any see right there going go through to the specific Department we choose one just to show each department has a web section which has all information about Department you see here it has obviously the the uh department head their title has L to see the board members in this case open to um sign up for email updates from them but also have a lot of information that anybody who needs to find anything about anys can do it we we4 said thatt that's what we he Mission about their exol they page the description underneath it some of the areas I just go through quickly up each department on their own allowing them to get the message out allowing people to be in the loop whenever they need to know useful LS for resources sending people who for a typical question that people ask where if you go to a download Center which a lot of people download a applications and forms that they need for this department so they would have to down for to get it um below it there frequently ask question section any question up the and to WR that as a contact page allowing people to contact the specific Department directly with the contact information involv out the form to send an email to them directly um moving on obviously dep has the same thing in this other are here also but move on for session this is the general information about V Township for people on general information there's uh a visitor drive you can download PDF get a det information about a lot of it there also um the areas divided up are you look atation paration he and travel each section goes into uh more details and keep going as go down to more detail once take the most advantage of for most people has a lot of information there whole different areas of it pleas describe again are those social resources sections that will tell you all about different work to do and something that I about 3 years ago and years ago I should take and obviously it's not a there will be bus and there will be issues and I encourage find find issues that they let us know
