There's actually only one thing that could spin this all around. It's the one thing that Christianity and Islam are speaking as a whole dread and that's the Jewish return to Jerusalem and the [music] temple being built on Mount Mariah on the Temple Mount. [music] Welcome back to the podcast. My name is Aaron So and you're watching Para Inspired. My guest tonight is Rabbi Tovia Singer. Rabbi Singer, it's an honor to have you back. It's great to be with you. Thank you. >> The question on my mind and on everybody's mind is the third temple because many people believe that the third temple is a Jewish conspiracy to take over uh the world. So perhaps you can [clears throat] reset those people who think that. >> So let's be very clear about this. The majority of the world believes that the book of Ezekiel is the word of God. Not kidding. 4.6 billion people on this planet are either Christians or Muslims who believe that Yeescal Ezekiel was a prophet of God and his book is a holy book. And the largest messianic prophecy in all of Tanakh, these are big words, but the largest messianic prophecy is the end of Ezekiel from essentially from 40 through 48 47. So it would be very hard for them to think that way if they only went back to the Hebrew Bible. And in fact, we're told something really quite marvelous. So just think about this for a moment. Um I don't know there's the 2.6 or 7 billion Christians in the world. Combine that with Muslims. How are they going to spin around? And what's very critical is as far as Tanakh goes, the building of the temple of the B mikdash, the final temple on Mount Mariah will turn the world around. The most possibly the most famous messianic chapter in Tanakh possibly I mean Isaiah 11 is also but Ezekiel 37 and you the viewer know this chapter. It's the valley of dry bones. And as it turns out, verse 24 and 25 is talking about Messiah. Explicitly is called the Nusi, the prince David. The children of Israel will return back to observe the commandments 26, 27, 28. So you, our precious viewers, don't need to memorize this. All you know is the last handful of verses of Ezekiel chapter 37. All are about that I will place my sanctuary in your midst. And look at the last verse verse 28. And then the nations will know that I am Lord who sanctifies Israel. When will for the majority of the world is Christian and Muslim, right? When that when my sanctuary is in your midst forever, that's how it ends. That's unmistakable. Why does this work? We know this so well. So you, the viewer, must know that the key part of the messianic age, everything really, is that the whole world is redeemed. That's the center of it. Unlike m Egypt, one nation, Messiah, the entire world is redeemed. The key question is like how will it happen? How will this occur? Also, I encourage you to look at Isaiah 56:7. The temple will be considered house of prayer for all nations. Isaiah 56:7. So these are explicit texts that the temple and the restoration of the ba mikdash the temple inlim is key for what triggers the worldwide knowledge of God. Isaiah 11 verse 9 knowledge of God covers the worlds of water covers the sea. Question is how will this happen? After all think about this for a moment. Christians understand the Hebrew Bible through whatever the church fathers told them. the Roman Catholic Church, the large Christian domin. But the church fathers said that the destruction of the temple is a sign that Christianity, Jew, and Judaism is false. Bear in mind, incidentally, the Petristic church fathers mean like the first 500 years of Christianity when they looked at the temple mount, they didn't see what we see today. When you and I can stand on Mount Scopus and see it, we see Alexa, do that. That's seventh century. In the first 500 years of Christianity, there was nothing there. After the destruction 70 destroyed after Hadrien, even more plowed down. So they saw nothing. And to them, this is a mata. This is a a but a mark not of Jerusalem restored, but rather rather Jerusalem destroyed. They showed that the Jews are wrong and Christianity was true. Muslims also believe like Christians that the Jews were once chosen. However, because we rejected the prophets, namely Jesus and certainly Muhammad, we therefore lost that and now Islam is the heir to all these blessings. They both are uh espouse replacement theology. one key point. So I because I know some viewers are going to think this. There are about a 100 million uh Christian Zionists in the world. There are probably 70 million of them are in the United States approximately. There are Muslims who are Zionist and I know many of them but these are I'm not with Christianity I can't call Christian Zionist an outlier but it's a certainly a very small minority. In Islam it's really a tiny minority. So the key point is what then will get the nations of the world, the the world to recognize that in fact that the God of Israel is the only true God and they should turn to the Jewish people and say, "Take us with you because now we know God is with you." There's actually only one thing that could spin this all around. It's the one thing that Christianity and Islam is being as a whole dread and that's the Jewish return to Jerusalem and the temple being built on Mount Mariah on the Temple Mount. And that's why the tech the building of the temple is so critical and that's why not me but the Nvi exmlessly says that the nations will know I'm Lord. Remember we talked about that the key of Msiah is that the nations know the truth. They accept it. Kabuk chapter 2:14. They get it. The Nvi says, "What will trigger that? When my sanctuary be in their midst forever, that's when the nations will know. They'll trigger it." Therefore, once the temple is built in Jerusalem, all of Christendom, all the Islamic world, the whole world then says, "Now we know Hashem is with you." And launch the messianic age. >> This week in synagogue, we read Isaiah 60. And Isaiah 60 speaks of a rebirth of light within the Jewish people that the Gentiles recognize. Maybe there could speak about the the next stage in redemption which is through the Torah that the exile Jews see and also the Gentiles see the the Torah reviving init. >> So Isaiah 60 is about non-Jews. I mean that's of the centerpiece of that chapter. Rise and shine for your light has come. The glory of the Lord has risen upon you. Kings shall go by your light by the brightness of your rising. Verse three. So Isaiah 60 explodes with messianic music. And Isaiah 60 then tells us from their perspective what's happening. I just for a moment just look at verse 14. and the sons of them that afflicted you. That means they will come bowing to you. Now they some go we're going make them slaves not make them slaves. It means that they will recognize the kash is the importance of the children of Israel like holding on to the citizen recognize that the only it's the tassels of the Jew that counts here and those who despise you will come bowing themselves down to you. The nations of the world will look to the Jewish people and recognize they made a terrible mistake. Look at the language. It says, "Those that hated you will come to you." Which is incidentally the This follows the great saliloquy of Isaiah 53, which is the most abused, misappropriated chapter in where it's really a saliloquy of the gentile nation, saying, "We realize you are right and we we persecuted you and you suffered as a result of our iniquities and your suffering causes us to repent." So all of this, all of this, the foreigners will build your walls. All this is about the perspective of the non-Jews that they'll finally recognize any mistake. And just think about all our opponents in the world. We want them, of course, to repent and reconsider, but all of them are going, "What are you doing going to Jerusalem?" Like the Vatican recognized the Third Reich when Hitler rose to power and signed a concordat with the with Hitler. They didn't recognize a Jewish state until the 1990s because that was a theological problem. That's what Isaiah 60 is. And look, and of course Isaiah 60 ends with the famous passage in its time I will hasten. Very famous which means it'll either happen to a righteous generation or generation that's not righteous but then repents. But the simple meaning of the word thehat as we say is that when the time comes it will be hastened and it definitely feels like it's happening right now especially on November 2nd will be the first congress of Noah heights. Maybe the RV could speak about uh you have your finger on the pulse uh with I guess the Gentiles and the Noahites of the world and the Jews of course. Um, so I is there been a huge awakening since the turn of the internet into a a medium for Jews to be able to teach Torah to the Gentiles? >> The the first just 10 seconds definition no means a person who is not a member of the nation of Israel, does not join nation, but joins the faith of the children of Israel. So that's what it means. So, we're going to use that term just very clear. They embrace the faith of Israel as their faith. They're called Noah because they are then disciples of Noah. >> Just to help help me define that because I've been saying this um and I still maybe some clarity on this perhaps >> I ask of you to allow me as well you grant me some latitude here. So I I am going to then posit there are two ways to convert to Judaism. We are you and I not only are of the the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. So we're part of a nation, but we are also have the faith of Israel. We have those two things. We are I don't you and I don't have to even do this, but if we did our DNA, we'd find out that we're we're part of the we're descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and J. We're a real genuine ethno religion. Now there are people who say I want to embrace the faith of the Jewish people but not join the nation not become a descendant of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I know you viewers are wondering how could you do that but we'll just let that set us by. So people who say they they the faith of Israel or what we now conventionally call Judaism is my faith but they don't join the nation. They're we call them no it's an anacronism uh it's the language of our shages and it's fine but people some people are just don't understand or put off by so the and most of them not all but most of them are former Christians who uh turn to the god of Israel and the key point is when did that really happen today there are don't ask me how many I don't know but it's in the millions of people who are not Jewish but their faith is Judaism h it's called noises This is counterintuitive. Why? If you're not Jewish, this seems like a very inopportune time to join the Jews. Why? Well, 85 years ago, one-third of the Jews were were murdered by the Nazis during World War II. This nation is radioactive. Look at October 7th and the subsequent explosion of hatred towards the Jews. Stay away from these people. They're radioactive. Whatever it is about them, Tucker Carlson doesn't like them and neither does Candace Owens. Somehow they breed hatred, let's say. But that's exactly opposite of what's occurring in that I nobody knows the numbers. Certainly huge numbers of nandrews are embracing Judaism as their faith. Now people refer to the seven laws of Noah and that's accurate. However, just a caveat for you the viewer because this is important to you. So, we talk about seven no laws. They're really not laws. There's seven categories of law like laws. So, for instance, there a person a Ben Noah, a person embraces Judaism as their faith. They are not allowed to engage in immoral acts. Well, technically there are 11 relationships that are forbidden to a Ben Noah, to a no. Okay, so that means it's not really seven. It's like a hundred, but it's seven massive categories. When did that really happen? Like when did this explode? I'm going to submit something we never spoke about, but when this really when the movement exploded, really meaning expanded exponentially was after Jerusalem was liberated and fell into the hands of the Jewish people after 1967. before that it would be very hard to come up with any discussion of mass numbers of non-Jews who embracing the God of Israel. It is da it is specifically after 67 when Jerusalem had finally come to the hands of the children of Israel as prophesies it would Zechariah 12 and 8 and so on. Only then that sparks a messianic fuel around the world and everyone sniffs it. Everyone gets it. Incidentally, our enemies also get it like Christian missionary groups then in an direct assault against the Jewish faith exploded. Like Jews was created just a half a decade after Jerusalem was liberated. Um all the most of the messianic move was all created subsequent to that. So what happens is this bright light explodes when Jerusalem is back in the hands of the children of Israel. And of course our enemies emerge also who wish to destroy us spiritually. It is our hope that they're not destroyed but that they repent. Of course. So that's when this movement began. But what this movement is not weird. In fact, one can easily say that a no being a no is essentially the oldest religion in the world. If one want if you want to use that term it's fine. But no movement really um just explodes when subsequent to when Jerusalem comes to the hands of the children of Israel. Now the cause of a no was always and there were always noites. The oldest book in Tanakh is about a Noahide named Job. So it's not that there were there were always non-Jews who embraced the faith of Israel. It's not that just the first ones were there. But in after 67 it was like everything expanded in a sense like Jerusalem just lit up the world and therefore this entire movement is now recognizing the messianic times that we're in now >> on a practical level. somebody who may be in the audience who's considering um abandoning idolatry or I don't or or whatever form of faith he may have and join like what would the practical is it like a 180 degree switch or is it just redirecting my prayers directly to God? It is a reorientation because um Christianity uh specifically teaches that uh uh that that God is Jewish but which we don't believe of course but that essentially it's man's failed effort to create God in his image and God is portrayed in Christianity as as basically sending everyone to hell and the only way you saved is by believing in his son as an intermediary. He said, "Judaism is all about that God loves us and one could repent and God will forgive you and he wants a relationship with you and you're not born in sin, meaning that you're not evil. You're created in the image of God." So, it's really a complete reorientation. It's not about who you think the Messiah is. It's really a complete reorientation of who God is and what kind of relationship he has with you. and rather it is God's successful endeavor in creating man in his image. And that however given that Christianity is although superficially seems similar to Judaism and like another Abrahamic religion sort of an offshoot of Judaism it really isn't. It's synchronized well with the Greco Roman world and adopted neoplatonic thinking about the world and mankind. So it's a complete reversal. But when non-Jews discover the problems of the church and what the New Testament did with the Hebrew Bible, altered it, uh, misappropriated it, they spin very, very quickly. I would I am sure I have I know this even though I don't, but I really do know it. The m vast majority of the Noahide movement are former devout Christians. There's no question about that. The vast majority of the Noite world, I don't know the number, it's s very significant. The vast majority of them were former Christians. And I don't just say Christian, but if you ever uh engage with these people, they would tell you when I was a Christian. Of course, not every one of them, but the vast majority would tell you I was a devout Southern Baptist. I belong to Assemblies of God. I was a Pentecostal Christian. They were serious serious Christians. I was a devout Catholic. And they just spun the whole thing around. In the history of the Jewish exile, I think it would have been ludicrous for Jews or rabbis to begin preaching to other nations of the world. But today is possible. Do you think that Jews today who are have capabilities should be um looking into educating the gentile world about their seven laws of Noah which they are they should be keeping? Should this be something that we could take on as a Jewish people? Suppose we anybody would listen to us, you know? And as it's just the weird thing happens and that is if we are in a sense the white blood cells of the world we're here to protect the world from infection and there's something remarkable about us and that is if we are devote ourselves to Torah and teach Torah then non-Jews come not both you and I have an enormous view viewership that is made up of non-Jews and neither of us I We you and I have never had this conversation and I don't even have to ask you. I am confident that was not even on your radar, right? I don't have to guess that. I know that a massive number of your large viewership and my viewership are not Jewish. And we neither of us set out to be educators in the non-Jewish world. Am I correct? Of course I'm right. And the question is how did it happen? I don't know how it happened. But the point is what we did was we we were loyal to the God of Israel to scripture. We were loyal to the faith and the nations came and now are watching us and not only watching but they are repenting. Neither of us want to uh control anyone but when we're pouring out the light just showing people the light of Tanakh of our sacred faith they're coming. So it's actually happening real time. And yes, I encourage every child of Israel to rise up to teach Torah. The nations will come and be guided by our light as you point out Isaiah 60. >> Um so how does the third temple if it's being built? There is there is an opinion called Rabenuaya who brings on the word Khazir. Uh he says that perhaps the Melik Edom will build the third temple. I don't know who the metal is, but is is this something that is um something that that you believe that this will be done by the nations of the world? I'm just curious about this because the second temple was considerably with the involvement of other nations. Well, if we're using the second temple as a model, and we're living in a different time than the great rabbi you're speaking about, if we can use Tanakh as a model, if we, as you and I have done this so many times, we have used Ezra, Ezra, and Nemiah. By the way, one book, um, we've always used that as a map. And this we know it's supposed to be a messianic map because the toma tells us that it's the writing that contained the this kind of this the the road map for the end of days. So we can now look back and we can think about we can figure this out. Um the foreign secretary of the United Kingdom not our friends. They're about to boycott Israel. So these are not our friends. This is very critical. These are not our buddies. But they for a brief moment a Christian James Belelffor signed a document saying that what we'll call Palestine which was just a region wasn't a a country that it should be given to the Jewish people. Okay. So it's a Christian does that. And as it turns out the at the end of World War I empires collapsed. The one we're really interested in is the Ottoman Empire collapses. This one before subsequently this area becomes mandate Palestine under the British Empire, right? But what who then delivers it over to the Jews? In essence, the Jewish people rise up and they're able to uh declare a state and it's then that Britain says, you know what, we're out of here. So, as it turns out, the last nation that had Schlita, that had control over the land of Israel, not as it wasn't an independent state, but it was part of the British Empire under the control of the British Empire was were Christians. And that delivers it over to the Jewish people. I just want to say this, my brothers and sisters around the world, we are living in a unique time. It means we're not in the 19th century and we're not in the medieval period. All of them, all these great commentators who were in touch with the divine would have given anything to live in our time to see the events that led up to the moment we're in right now. We we actually know what's going to happen because it actually happened. It was the British Empire that in a sense controls this land. It's the last It's not the Muslims cuz the the the the Turks lost control the Ottoman Empire lost control of the land of Israel subsequent to World War I and therefore it fell into the hands of the Christians which is in fact Edom and they then it's the head of state of the church of England. They then first willingly and then unwillingly bequeath it to the children of Israel. We then have to fight a war of independence which was did not look good. The British definitely thought that the Jews would lose that war and the Arabs would finish what Hitler didn't finish. But it God's hand was upon this place. And the words of Amos, the end of Amos is that once the children of Israel are planted in land, they will never be uprooted. [snorts] Our viewers, you don't have to remember the verse number, just know Amos, which is a a very difficult book to read. It's like it's not like a book that's very, it's a book that's very critical as all the prophets were, but it ends saying once the Jews return, they never be uprooted again. That's how it ends in chapter nine. So that's we can now see that because the last nation that had schlita had governance had sovereignty over the land of Israel prior to the Jews was in fact Christian England and now I mean the king of England literally owns the copyright to the King James Bible. I'm not making that up. So that's where we are right now. This is really a a unique time. But always remember this our viewers our sages wanted to my monities of blessed memory who was here in the land of Israel was here in Jerusalem he was on the temp mount what would he have given if he could have be living in our time anything he wanted to see that he knew that it would be a later generation that would and therefore we're very fortunate to be able to now see God's plan as it unfolds of just one last comment if I Okay, one less con given we're all wondering of how will the next stage occur, right? We know that the building of temple tells the world the truth, right? But we're not we're like how exactly here's I want to just uh contribute this point given my brothers and sisters that all the prophecies that are in Tanakh that are our sages just spoke about have been fulfilled literally very clearly in a very plain simple sense. We can then I submit extrapolate from that that all the prophecies that have yet to be filled in Tanakh will be filled literally as they are articulated. So that's I the point this is not like some metaphysical thing. Everything that happened up till this stage this is a very advanced stage has happened literally. We can therefore feel a sense of confidence that therefore is acting in the world in a very little sense through period. Full stop. If you enjoyed this program, please like and subscribe.
