Christians incidentally are stuck with a problem and that is the earliest Christians who composed the Christian Bible did not believe that Jesus was God. That was a later Christian invention and that's transparent. So it's very easy to even look at the Christian Bible and we see there clearly that whoever wrote it did not think Jesus was God. That was a much later development. The word Trinity was invented by a I'm going to call him a theologian um right in the beginning of the 3rd century. Tertullian was his name. His home Carthage. He invented the word Trinity in about the year 200. It's amazing thing, you know, hey what good thing can come from Africa? So it's cuz all that I desire comes from there. All of it. All of that all that stuff is all Carthage and Alexandria all the ugly desire comes from there. So at this time when that tumah is expanding the Mishnah and the Havalah is being recorded by Rabbi Yehudah HaNasi in the northern part of Eretz Yisrael. So like the tumah and the kedushah are both rising at the exact same So he invents the word Trinity. He doesn't even believe in it incidentally. He believes that Jesus was created and not eternally divine. I'm not kidding. Is he generated by God? He's a son. What does it mean to even be a son? If God is the father and he's the son, what does those words even mean? You have a father. So, using the term father and son conveys that the son is not eternal, that the son must have been created and generated. So, this is a big war exploding in the empire, which had become Christian in the 4th century. And Constantine, who we talked about earlier, converts to Christianity and he sees this a fight in the empire among Christians of what do we believe exactly? And then he convenes the Council of Nicaea in 325 and there they voted on the nature of doctrine and trinity. I'm not kidding, it's a vote. And the guys who said that Jesus was co-eternal, very light of very light, equal with the father, they won and the other guys lost and had to run for their lives. And that was it. Now, the church still had many problems with this. It goes on. You'll go on chat or whatever your rabbi is on your cell phone. You'll look at But it goes on to Constantinople. Because the way Christians marshal Exodus 15 verse three is that they it's it's a fallacy of restricting a word to having one possible meaning, which is exactly what they have to do, saying Ish only means man, and then say, "Aha, you see God is a man of war." Okay? That's how the argument runs, but it's a complete fallacy. And it's a it's an ad hoc fallacy of restricting a word to have only one possible meaning. That's the whole foundation. But actually it's completely incorrect. The word Ish can definitely mean a man in biblical Hebrew. It could also mean a husband. It can also doesn't mean a man at all, but it means to be a master. And that's what's meant in Exodus 15. I'll give you a Let me just finish the thought and I'm all open to everybody. So, I'll give you an example. Get your pen out. >> [laughter] >> First Kings chapter two, our conversation is between David and King Solomon. David is dying in the beginning of Malachim. That's how it begins. David is on his deathbed. And there's a whole um problem of who's going to take over for him, but it's ultimately solved and Solomon is now anointed to be king after his father. And David turns to his son to Melech and says, "You now have to be an ish." Well, it means there that you have to be a master and it's interesting, that means you have to take control. You have to be a mensch, you have to be So, the word ish can mean someone who was a kind of a master or may say a baal habayit. So, therefore, Hashem ish milchama, the English translation, even the Christian ones, are correct. Usually, they will render it God is a master of war. So, therefore, the claim collapses. Now, it's I think it's important to know that Christians don't claim that Jesus' physical body was God. Meaning, for all those of Christian, was Jesus' kidneys, bladder, and liver literally God created the heavens and the earth? They would say, "No, that would be idolatry to them." So, it doesn't it doesn't work at all. And moreover, in the Christian Bible, we are told, I don't believe this is historical, but let's say I considered everything, we are told that Jesus says that the father is greater than I am. John 14. The Christian Bible has Jesus saying that you, God, are the only true God and I'm just a messenger that you sent. "I could do nothing of my own, but only the one who sent me." John chapter 5 verse 19 and verse 30. So, as far as the book of John goes, I'm I'm marshaling the fourth gospel cuz that contains the highest Christology among the gospels. Even there, he's completely subordinate to the father. It's a later Christian invention and using the argument of that it says Hashem ish milchama is a fallacy by saying I'm only going to allow the word Ish to be rendered as a as a man Y chromosome rather than a whole few things there. And And that's why it's when you watch Christians do this, you have to really pay careful attention what's going on. It's like watching If they're good, you're watching maybe David Blaine. You're trying to I know he's not floating, right? And I know the law the the laws of thermodynamics are not being suspended in favor of my entertainment. So, he's not doing magic. So, there's an explanation for it. Okay, so always know that they usually are like watching a 9-year-old do a magic show, where you you know immediately what's going wrong. But, you just look it up.
